The historic Alte Zollhaus Neukirchen (built 1938) was thoroughly renovated in 2017 - 2018 and divided into two cosy and exclusive holiday flats, which can be used individually or together
The ground floor flat "Gendarmenstube" with a floor space of over 65 sqm will inspire you with its exclusive and cosy furnishings as soon as you enter. The open kitchen is connected to the living area. In the living room, a large and comfortable sofa bed (160x200) as well as a wood-burning stove and a beautiful dining table with comfortable armchairs for cosy hours await you. From the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can enjoy the fantastic view across the Flensburg Fjord to Denmark at any time of day. The bathroom is equipped with a floor-level shower for your comfort. The double bed in the large, cosy bedroom is 180x200.
Directly adjacent to the flat are 2 spacious terraces with fine wooden furniture. The large rear terrace offers you a great panoramic view of the opposite Danish coast and the front terrace borders on a small private garden, which allows undisturbed sunbathing. Sun loungers, parasol, cushions and a barbecue are provided.

Location and surroundings of object
The two holiday homes of the Alter Zollhaus Neukirchen are located directly on the Flensburg Fjord, in the immediate vicinity of the natural beach with a fantastic view of the "Danish South Sea". Kappeln, Maasholm, Flensburg and Schleswig are not far away and offer many attractions. Town and harbour festivals are often held there. Germany's smallest town (Arnis on the Schlei) is also not far away and well worth a visit. Denmark with its hilly small towns is on the other side of the fjord and can be reached quickly by a nearby excursion ferry. There are many beautiful cycle paths near the Alter Zollhaus, the house is directly on the Baltic Sea cycle path.

There was nothing missing!
A really beautiful holiday apartment where nothing was missing. The bright and spacious apartment, with a view of the Baltic Sea, is very tastefully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. One wouldn't even guess that pets are welcome here, as the entire inventory looks very clean and well-maintained. This may be due to the fact that the previous tenants were very careful with the furnishings, but the cleaning staff also did a very good job. We were very pleased with the welcome drinks and the treat for our dog! :-) The proximity to the beach, the extremely quiet area, and the very friendly contact with the landlords also appealed to us. If the opportunity arises, we would love to come back.

Gendarmenstube: Policemen's room
Very nice and cozy holiday apartment with two terraces for sunny or shady stays. One of them with a beautiful view of the fjord. The natural beach can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. Even in summer, you can find a quiet spot to linger. The holiday apartment is generously equipped. Even for electric vehicles, there are two wall boxes available for charging. The landlords are very friendly and give tips for excursions.

Gendarmenstube in the old customs house-great!
The Gendarmenstube in the Altes Zollhaus is highly recommended! Especially the fantastic view from the terrace of the Flensburg Fjord impressed us. The accommodation is very nice and functional and was spotlessly clean. An atmosphere in which we felt very comfortable and relaxed. Beautiful bike rides, wonderful swimming in the fjord, and dreamy sunsets in the nearby beach lounge... what more could you want!

Beautiful building from the outside. Modern, friendly and tasteful furnishings. Very friendly and helpful landlords. Everything was available in the kitchen, even a mixer and baking paper. Wonderful view of the fjord. Short and beautiful walk to the secluded beach. I was totally thrilled and will recommend the flat to others.

A wonderful short holiday
I enjoyed the 4 days in the Gendarmenstube very much: the very high quality flat furnished with great attention to detail, the magnificent view from the living room over the Flensburg Fjord and Denmark, idyllic walks on the beach, the lovely hilly landscape by the sea (a joy for the soul !), interesting excursions by bike and car, delicious food and the nice landlord couple - I will gladly come again !

Dass man hier auf sein Auto angewiesen ist, ergibt sich aus der abgeschiedenen Lage, in der das Alte Zollhaus Neukirchen liegt, und die gerade von den Gästen, die unsere Unterkünfte buchen, ganz überwiegend besonders geschätzt wird. Eine solche Lage ist naturgemäß nicht vereinbar mit der fußläufigen Erreichbarkeit von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Kneipen, Restaurants und kulturellen Angeboten. Wie schon einmal ein Gast freundlicherweise in seine Bewertung schrieb: "Wer naturnahe Vorlieben hat, ruhebedürftige Vorstellungen pflegt, den unverstellten Blick zur Förde als Voraussetzungen für einen gelungenen Urlaub sucht, findet im Alten Zollhaus die idealen Voraussetzungen."

Beautiful holiday flat with Baltic Sea view
We spent a wonderful week in the Gendarmenstube in September. My husband and I were totally thrilled with the flat from the very first moment, super clean, just to feel good.... and in the kitchen ..really everything there ...just like at home...you don't miss anything....
The only point...the bathroom is very small...and you can hear the street that passes in front of the house, but during the day very....at night is nice and quiet....
The view into the countryside or towards the Baltic Sea is wonderful ....
But you definitely need a car to visit all the excursions, restaurants and shopping tips that Fam. Voigt has listed and recommended so wonderfully...
We did that and were really happy
We had never experienced that before!

Altes Zollhaus Gendarmenstube

Everything is fine!
The holiday flat is very tastefully furnished to a high standard; the furnishings also leave nothing to be desired. The terrace at the living room invites you to have breakfast in the sun and offers a fantastic view of the beautiful garden and the sea, all the way to Denmark. To relax in the evening sun, there is another terrace on the other side of the house. We were absolutely thrilled!
Via an idyllic path next to the garden, you can reach the pretty little church and the wild beach, which we mostly had to ourselves. We didn't use the Baltic Sea cycle path, which passes directly by the house, because there is no cycle path or footpath for the first few kilometres, but there is certainly car and motorbike traffic, especially at weekends. On the other hand, there are many attractive excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity and the "Odin Fischer" in Langballigau were our first port of call almost every day. We spent a wonderful week at the Baltic Sea in wonderful weather. The Voigt couple gave us a warm welcome, including water and flens to welcome us. We will be happy to come back!

PS: Für alle Fahrradbegeisterten müssen wir an dieser Stelle aber doch noch mal erwähnen, dass der Fahrradweg sowohl nach Norden als auch nach Süden jeweils bereits nach gerade mal 1,1 km beginnt: in Richtung Norden/Langballigau kurz hinter der nächsten Kreuzung (Fördestraße/Ostseeradweg mit Mühlendamm/Friedrichstal), in Richtung Süden am Ortsausgang von Neukirchen Richtung Habernis.

I found everything one could wish for. A perfectly equipped flat, ultra cosy with a lot of attention to detail. Simply feel at home - even in bad weather. High-quality and tasteful furnishings. Beautiful, modern bathroom!

Beste Erholung in wunderschöner Umgebung und toller Wohnung
Wir haben einen sehr entspannten Urlaub in wunderschöner Umgebung verbracht und die tolle Wohnung mit all Ihren Vorzügen (ruhige Lage mit wunderbarem Fördeblick, perfekte und durchdachte Ausstattung, Kaminofen, Infrarotsauna) genossen. Der Naturstrand unterhalb des Hauses hat uns gefallen, in der Nähe gibt es viele weitere Sandstrände und es gibt im Umkreis viel zu sehen. E-Bike oder PKW sollte man haben. Danke an Familie Voigt für die freundlichen Telefonate im Vorfeld und Ihre Gastfreundschaft und die vielen Tips vor Ort. Wir haben wieder für den Spätsommer reserviert - das sagt alles.

Kurzurlaub
Wir (mein Rauhaardackel und ich) haben die Tage in dieser perfekt und liebevoll

Wunderbare Ruheoase
Ruhig und etwas abgelegen und fast unmittelbar an der Ostsee liegt diese wunderbare Wohnung.
Unsere Ankunft /Abreise verlief völlig unproblematisch, da es einen Schlüsseltresor gibt.
Die Wohnung ist sehr durchdacht und liebevoll eingerichtet.
In der Küche ist wirklich alles da was man, auch für großer Kochaktionen, braucht.
Wir haben uns besonders über den Kaminofen und die eigene Sauna gefreut.
Das Bett hat super Matratzen (geteilte). Es ist mehr als ausreichend Schrankfläche vorhanden. Auch Platz für ein Babybett ist vorhanden.
Hunde sind wohl erlaubt.
Wir waren zu zweit in der Wohnung. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es ein Sofa, das man auch zur Übernachtung nutzen kann.
Es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine - für Gäste mit Kinder sicher hilfreich.
Der Weg zum Meer führt direkt am Haus entlang. An der wunderschönen Kirche vorbei in man gemütlich in 5 Minuten am Naturstrand.
Vom Frühstücksplatz aus kann man das Meer sehen. In der warmen Jahreszeit kann man aus 2 Terrassen auswählen.
Man braucht dringend ein Auto. Zu empfehlen ist der Bioladen in der Nähe.

Perfekte Unterkunft mit und ohne Hund
Eine neuwertige, sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtete Wohnung für idealerweise 2 bis maximal 4 Personen. Ruhig gelegen mit Blick aufs Meer und in einen schönen Garten. Der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen (allerdings dürfen hier keine Hunde hin. Ein kleiner Hundestrand findet sich aber einige 100 m entfernt). Zwei kleine Balkone mit Stühlen und Tischen, Auflagen wie auch einem Sonnenschirm laden ebenfalls zum Entspannen ein. Gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten finden sich etwa 10 Fahrminuten entfernt.
Leider ist der Garten (noch) nicht eingezäunt. Dies als Information für die Hundebesitzer.
