The historic Alte Zollhaus Neukirchen (built 1938) was thoroughly renovated in 2017 - 2018 and divided into two cosy and exclusive holiday flats that can be used individually or together
The maisonette flat "Schmugglerkoje" with a floor space of over 100 sqm on the upper floor and attic will delight you with its bright and exclusive furnishings as soon as you enter. The open kitchen with a large dining table is connected to the living area. In the passage between the living room and the kitchen, a wood-burning stove provides cosy hours in both rooms. A large and comfortable sofa bed awaits you in the living room. From the floor-to-ceiling windows you can enjoy the fantastic view over the Flensburg Fjord to Denmark at any time of day. In our cosy "Kajüte" (cabin) there is a bedroom comfortably under the roof with a fantastic panoramic view of the starry sky and the fjord. In the attic there is another spacious bedroom, equipped with large panoramic windows and a bathroom en suite - a little kingdom of its own. We have equipped the double bed with electrically adjustable slatted frames for your comfort. All beds in the smuggler's bunk measure 160 x 200.
The garden with terrace belonging to the holiday flat faces the forest and offers a great view as well as barbecue facilities. Garden furniture and cushions as well as sun loungers and a parasol are available.

Location and surroundings of object
The two holiday homes of the Alter Zollhaus Neukirchen are located directly on the Flensburg Fjord, in the immediate vicinity of the natural beach with a fantastic view of the "Danish South Sea". Kappeln, Maasholm, Flensburg and Schleswig are not far away and offer many attractions. Town and harbour festivals are often held there. Germany's smallest town (Arnis on the Schlei) is also not far away and well worth a trip. Denmark with its hilly small towns is on the other side of the fjord and can be reached quickly with a nearby excursion ferry. There are many beautiful cycle paths near the Alter Zollhaus, the house is directly on the Baltic Sea cycle path.

Family vacation
We have rarely had such a well-equipped and beautiful vacation apartment. The vacation apartment completely matches the photos. The contact with the landlord before and during the stay was very friendly and helpful.
A short five-minute walk leads to the natural beach, where you can enjoy the fjord almost alone, which can also be wonderfully seen from the living room and bedroom. For a bathing beach, we recommend the supervised beach in Norgaardholz.

A small feel-good oasis on the Baltic Sea
We spent the first weekend in May with two friends in the Smuggler's Cove – in radiant sunshine and the best Baltic Sea atmosphere. Even before our arrival, we received all the important information promptly and in detail, so we could arrive completely relaxed. The first impression was something special: the fantastic view of the Baltic Sea and the extraordinarily cozy, yet high-quality furnishings immediately thrilled us. The lovingly prepared bouquet of flowers perfectly rounded off the warm welcome.
The apartment is extremely clean, well-maintained, and tastefully furnished. We particularly liked the large windows that let in plenty of light and sunshine, enhancing the wonderful view of the surroundings even more. Some windows are additionally equipped with insect protection blinds – another sign of how thoughtfully and comfortably everything has been designed. The kitchen also left nothing to be desired; nothing was missing. The quiet atmosphere of the apartment was particularly pleasant. After a short time, one had the feeling of completely leaving behind the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The apartment also contains numerous books about the region and the beautiful landscape, so one can wonderfully inspire and inform oneself on-site. The natural Baltic Sea beach is just a few minutes' walk away and invites long walks and relaxing hours by the sea. One can feel in every detail the special effort of the landlords to make the stay pleasant and unforgettable for their guests from the very beginning. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back.

Wellness oasis in a beautiful location
Arrive and feel at home immediately. This apartment lacks nothing, very tastefully and high-quality furnished. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and recovered wonderfully. You can also tell how much thought the landlords put into the furnishings - finally enough hooks for towels and options to dry them as a small example. Additionally, it is very quiet and, thanks to the large windows with a view of the fjord, very bright. The kitchen is also very well equipped. Everything is really spotless, absolutely suitable for allergy sufferers like us. A well-filled information folder for excursion planning or going-out tips is also available. The location is exceptionally beautiful. The natural beach behind the church is quickly reached, but the surroundings also offer beautiful excursion destinations (our highlights: Arnis on the Schlei and Holnis). And in the evening, enjoying the sunset in the apartment, every time a spectacle. We would love to come back :-)

Beautiful holiday apartment at the Flensburg Fjord
We were allowed to spend our family vacation with a dog in the holiday apartment "Schmugglerkoje" in the old customs house. The holiday apartment is beautifully furnished and very clean. We felt comfortable from the very first moment.
The small house beach can be reached in a few minutes via a footpath.
The contact with our hosts was always very friendly and pleasant.
Would love to come again.

Place of longing by the glittering fjord
We had a wonderful stay in this dreamy holiday home, which made us feel at home right away. The house is not only spotless but also lovingly and cozily furnished - you can tell how much heart is put into it.
The amenities leave nothing to be desired - from small touches in the kitchen to a huge selection of games for game nights to cozy blankets for comfortable evenings with a view of the fjord. The location is phenomenal: quiet, relaxing, and yet close enough for excursions in the surrounding area. Not 5 minutes to a beautiful unspoiled beach that offers relaxing moments: a panorama for sunrise and sunset!
We especially want to highlight the hosts, who sweetened the vacation with respect, attentiveness, and helpfulness. You can tell that the well-being of their guests is truly important to them. We felt completely comfortable and will remember this stay fondly for a long time. The children are already asking when we will go back ;)
A clear recommendation - we will gladly return to this place of longing!

Über einen kurzen Fußweg von fünf Minuten kommt man an den Naturstrand und kann dort fast alleine die Förde genießen, die man auch wunderbar vom Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer aus sieht. Als Badestrand empfehlen wir den bewachten Strand in Norgaardholz.
Eine prall gefüllte Informationsmappe für Ausflugsplanungen oder Ausgeh-Tipps ist auch vorhanden. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich schön. Der Naturstrand hinter der Kirche ist schnell erreicht, aber auch die Umgebung bietet schöne Ausflugsziele (unsere Highlights: Arnis an der Schlei und die Holnis).
Und abends in der Wohnung den Sonnenuntergang genießen, jedes Mal ein Schauspiel.

Die Wohnung ist äußerst sauber, gepflegt und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Besonders schön fanden wir die großen Fenster, die viel Licht und Sonne hereinlassen und den herrlichen Blick auf die Umgebung noch mehr zur Geltung bringen. Einige Fenster sind zusätzlich mit Insektenschutzrollos ausgestattet – ein weiteres Zeichen dafür, wie durchdacht und komfortabel alles gestaltet wurde.
Auch die Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen; es fehlte an nichts. Besonders angenehm war zudem die ruhige Atmosphäre der Wohnung. Schon nach kurzer Zeit hatte man das Gefühl, die Hektik und Lautstärke des Alltags vollkommen hinter sich zu lassen. In der Wohnung befinden sich außerdem zahlreiche Bücher über die Region und die wunderschöne Landschaft, sodass man sich auch vor Ort wunderbar inspirieren und informieren kann.
Der naturbelassene Ostseestrand ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und lädt zu langen Spaziergängen und erholsamen Stunden am Meer ein.
Man spürt in jedem Detail das besondere Bemühen der Vermieter, den Aufenthalt für ihre Gäste von Anfang an angenehm und unvergesslich zu gestalten. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder
Der kleine Hausstrand ist über einen Fußweg in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen.
Der Kontakt mit unseren Gastgebern war immer sehr freundlich und angenehm.

Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen - von kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten in der Küche über eine riesige Auswahl an Spiele für Spielabende bis hin zu kuscheligen Decken für gemütliche Abende mit Aussicht auf die Förde.
Die Lage ist phänomenal: ruhig, erholsam und dennoch nah genug, um Ausflüge in die Umgebung zu unternehmen. Keine 5 Minuten zu einem schönen naturbelassenen Strand, der erholsame Momente bietet: ein Panorama für Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang!
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber, die mit Respekt, Zuvorkommenheit und Hilfsbereitschaft den Urlaub versüßten. Man merkt wie das Wohl ihrer Gäste Ihnen wirklich am Herzen liegt.
Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und werden diesen Aufenthalt lange in bester Erinnerung behalten. Die Kinder fragen auch bereits wann wir wieder hinfahren ;)
Ganz klare Empfehlung - wir kommen sehr gerne wieder an diesen Ort der Sehnsucht!
Dies garantiert die Schmugglerkoje. Der Blick aus dem gemütlichen Wohnzimmer ist einzigartig. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben.
In der wunderschönen Gegend Angeln gibt es viel zu entdecken. Die Schlei mit Kappeln im Süden und Flensburg im Norden sind nicht weit entfernt. Auch, wer es sportlich mag, kommt auf seine Kosten (Radfahren, Wandern, Schwimmen...).
Die Betreueung durch Frau Voigt war zuvorkommend.
Wir waren von der Schmugglerkoje so begeistert, dass wir noch vor Ort für den nächsten Sommerurlaub wieder gebucht haben.

wir haben uns bei Ihnen so wohlgefühlt, dass wir gar nicht mehr weg wollten. Sie haben die Wohnung wunderschön eingerichtet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Die Ausstattung ist einfach toll, Sie haben wirklich an alles gedacht.
Die Lage ist perfekt, der Blick auf die Flensburger Förde aus jedem Winkel der Wohnung, umgeben von Natur und Stille, nur ein paar Schritte zum Strand, Wege zum Spazierengehen und Radfahren - der perfekte Ort zum "Runterkommen". Wir kommen gerne so bald wie möglich wieder, denn - die Schmugglerkoje macht süchtig, egal bei welchem Wetter :-)
Falls es die Möglichkeit besteht kommen wir sehr gerne nochmals wieder.

Es hat uns auch wirklich an nichts gefehlt, gemütlich fanden wir es ebenfalls trotz "Corona-Entkernung". Dieser Abschnitt der Ostsee-Küste hat mit seinem Charme voll ins Herz getroffen, uns bezaubert und neugierig auf me(e/h)r gemacht...Danke dafür, dass Sie dieses wundervolle Kleinod mit uns Gästen "teilen" ???️ H.T.
Es fehlte an nichts. Dann diese tolle Lage, der Ausblick und die dazu passende, gemütliche Ausstattung. Netter Kontakt mit den Gastgebern....bestimmt bald mal wieder.
Auch der Ausblick ist fantastisch. Von gleich 2 Seiten kann man direkt aufs Meer schauen und die vielen Segelboote beobachten.
Der recht einsame Strand ist fußläufig in 2-3 min. erreichbar. Mit dem Auto oder dem Fahrrad erreicht man auch den Hundestrand in Kürze.
Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Urlaub mit einer sehr netten Gastgeberin. Sollte es sich noch einmal passen, werden wir gerne wiederkommen.
Wohnung mit Blick auf die Förde und die zahlreichen Wandermöglichkeiten in unberührter Natur.

Die Wohnung ist gemütlich bis in´s kleinste Detail eingerichtet u. sehr sauber. Auch die Aussicht u. die Nähe zur Ostsee macht die Unterkunft reizvoll.
Wunderschön mit viel liebe im Detail eingerichtet, wir fühlten uns sofort darin wohl. Alles sehr hochwertig, kaum zu glauben das es so etwas zum mieten gibt.
