On the ground floor of the cottage are located: the living room with open design kitchenette (with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, freezer, electric kettle, coffee machine, toaster, oven, 4-plate stove, gas stove, crockery, underfloor heating, dining table), a bedroom with double bed (Box-Spring, 200 x 160; The apartment has a bathroom with shower, toilet, washing machine and tumble dryer. The bathroom is equipped with Philippe Starck sanitary facilities.

Through the doors that open to the rear of the house, you enter the large, sunny south terrace and the garden that is surrounded by plants.
The apartment is suitable for 5 persons (and 1 baby) and has a modern bathroom with shower (ground floor). The shower also has underfloor heating, washbasin mirror, shower (flush with the floor) and washing machine, tumble dryer and highchair

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is situated on the edge of the National Park 'Schoorlse Dünen' near the beautiful coast of Bergen, Schoorl and Camperduin in the park 'Buiten Bergen'. Bergen and Schoorl are easy to reach on foot or by bicycle due to the central location of the holiday home. Camperduin, Groet and Alkmaar are easy to reach by car. The name of the holiday home 'Gili' is derived from 'Gili' Island in the Balimeer near Lombok. The island is an oasis of peace and space in a beautiful natural setting. You will find the same space and peace inside the apartment and in the surroundings.
Environment: Beach, Dune, sea and hinterland: At Bergen aan Zee, Egmond aan Zee, Hargen and Camperduin there are beach entrances which can be reached by car. The staircase at Schoorl aan Zee is only accessible to cyclists. You're rewarding yourself! The national park "Schoorlse Duinen" is the widest and most varied nature area along the Dutch coast. It consists of almost 1900 hectares of coniferous forest, shifting dunes, heath fields, swamps and lushly overgrown dune edge. Beautiful hiking and cycling routes wind their way through the dunes and polder landscape.
The discovery of the hinterland is also worthwhile. The historic Alkmaar is a hospitable shopping city. Near Schoorl you can drive on the medieval West Frisian ring dike and enjoy the view. A short drive away are the charming IJsselmeer towns of Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Medemblik.
Restaurants, art: In Bergen and Schoorl you will find 30 restaurants: Bergen is a convivial place with many restaurants, shops, galleries and some museums. From time immemorial, Bergen has been an 'artists' village' that also attracts today's art scene. Already in the last century the 'Bergen School' was founded, an art movement to which many painters, sculptors and authors have devoted themselves over the years. From Bergen to Schoorl you can easily cycle off the beaten track. Schoorl is a quieter village. There is a steep climbing dune directly in the cosy centre. The information centre on the outskirts of the village with exhibitions on the fauna and flora of the dunes is well worth a visit. Water sports enthusiasts can moor near the open sea and the dunes in the Hargen harbour. During the summer months, the village is the scene of an abundance of events, such as the sailing, surfing and beach event 'Hargen on Sail'.
