Description
After many holidays in Sweden, we then built our own dream house in 1999 on an approx. 3000 m² nature plot. Lake Kiasjön with its own jetty is about 100 m away
The house has approx. 96 m² living space divided into:
- 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed (2x90x200 cm) and a 4-door floor-to-ceiling wardrobe.
- Living area with fireplace, sofa, reading chair, rocking chair and satellite TV.
- Open kitchen with all electrical appliances and large dining table. Large refrigerator/freezer 228l refrigerator 111l freezer compartment
- large wardrobe in the entrance area
- Shower room with washing machine.
Three sides of the house are surrounded by a wrap-around wooden terrace with plenty of seating. Here you will find a place in the sun at any time of the day. On the south side is a covered barbecue area. On the way to the lake, you pass the red/white garden house.
Under the terrace you will find numerous bicycles for young and old
Of course, the house also has its own jetty with bathing ladder and rowing boat
Included in the rent are:

On request you can book a Coleman canoe with transom for 80€/week and/or an electric motor for 60€/week.

Location and surroundings of object
The property with several flower/herb beds and a garden house is situated in the middle of Småland's glass kingdom. Large extensive forests with many berries and mushrooms surround the house and invite you to go for walks and bike rides
The house is accessed by its own driveway, and there is parking right by the house. Lake Kiasjön is about 100 m away and is very rich in fish. The small village of Uranäs is about 1.5 km away
Shopping facilities for daily needs can be found in Fagerhult, 7 km away.
Larger supermarkets, banks, shops and petrol stations are about 20 km away in Högsby and Åseda.

Time-out at Lake Kiasjön
From the booking request, to tips during the stay, right through to the return journey, Mr. Fischer in particular provides perfect support. The holiday home not only has a dream location, but is also fantastic in itself. We entered the house and immediately felt at home. Those looking for peace, fragrant, oxygen-rich forest air, and relaxation will find the perfect holiday environment here and, like us, will not want to leave again. We brought our SUP boards and took every opportunity to explore the lake with our dog. And in 14 days, we didn't encounter another soul on the water. Due to the weather and the time of year, we were lucky enough to collect mushrooms growing on the short path to the lake and then eat them. Delicious. You can start hiking right outside the front door (also easy to find on Komot) and in the Bulerbü-like Uranäs, we treated ourselves to homemade cake at the Bloomster workshop on the weekend. True to the Swedish motto of lagom, we let our souls dangle, not too little, not too much, just right. Our car trips to the Baltic Sea coast to Kalmar and Öland rounded off the holiday and were stress-free to reach due to the speed limit and the good Swedish roads. We can definitely recommend the Fischer family's holiday home and not only give it the maximum possible 5 stars as an overall rating, but also an additional bonus star.

Very recommendable!
After 2015 we booked the vacation home from the Fischer family again this year. We already liked it a lot back then. This house is beautifully and quietly located in nature on a beautiful lake with its own boat dock. You can also sunbathe and relax on the dock itself. There is a peace there that you actually don't know anymore nowadays and that can sometimes seem spooky. Just wonderful. Occasionally a herd of cows visited us there. They then drank water from the lake for a short time and then leisurely walked back to the meadow of the adjacent farmer. On the opposite side of the lake there are also vacation homes, but you can't see them from the lakeside at all. There is nothing to hear in terms of noise. When we were at the lake, we were always alone there, enjoying the peace and the great view. In 2015, the lake was still wider and you can see that nature has gradually reclaimed it over the years. Just beautiful. We were able to take great photos of it. Just like last time, everything was spotlessly clean and there was nothing missing in terms of equipment. We enjoyed the quiet and relaxed time there again. The extensive range of the house terrace always gave you the opportunity to sit in the sun somewhere and enjoy nature all day long. Occasionally you could hear a car or a tractor passing by in the distance, but it was absolutely not disturbing. In terms of shopping, the town of Fagerhult is a 10-minute drive away, where you can get everything you need in a small supermarket. But we also drove to ICA and COOP in Högsby, which is about 40 km away and where the selection is definitely much larger. The support from Mr. and Mrs. Fischer was as great as always. We can really only recommend this house.

Swedish feeling
We spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful house.
As soon as we arrived, we were in a holiday mood.
The house is lovingly furnished, very clean and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. The beds in the bedroom are large and comfortable.
The terrace offers plenty of seating and 2 hammocks if needed. The short way to the house's own jetty leads through a small wood. When you arrive at the lake, the boat and canoe are ready
The contact with the landlord was very reliable, and sympathetic, with many tips and impulses for a successful holiday.

Wonderful holidays
We spent a wonderful week in this house.
This house is simply a dream, as is the landscape in Smaland.
The house is very cosy and lovingly furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are all the kitchen utensils you can imagine.
Dishes, pots, glasses are all available in abundance.
I think this house can't be topped
We also really enjoyed the hammocks and the terrace that goes all around the house.
There is seating everywhere on the terrace. You can enjoy the sun or the shade all day long.
We had temperatures well above 30 degrees for days.
The lake, which you can reach through the garden in about 3 minutes, was also beautiful.
We had our own jetty. There was no one there but us. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the view of the lake especially in the evening hours.
We will definitely come back and then for much longer.

Relaxing holiday
We spent two wonderfully relaxing weeks in this lovingly furnished holiday home. The furnishings are tasteful and there is plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc.. There is a cosy place for every weather condition on the surrounding terrace. The surrounding area is ideal for walking, hiking and cycling. From the house's own jetty, we could enjoy our daily swim in the beautiful Kiasjön, as well as fishing and boat trips. The care by the very nice landlords left nothing to be desired
We can highly recommend this holiday home for people who appreciate relaxation and nature.
