After a short walk through the dunes you will reach the beach within a few minutes
In the village you will find everything your heart desires: many shops, supermarkets (including Aldi and Lidl), a fish shop, cafés, restaurants, a tennis court, mini golf, a swimming pool, a golf course and a sports school. The cosy beach pavilion is open all year round.
In the park Ooghduyne (approx. 1 km) there is a swimming pool and a golf course.
In Den Helder, about 6 km away, there are many places of interest: the rescue museum, the marine museum, the children's play paradise, a bowling centre, a cinema, a Japanese garden and Fort Kijkduin with a North Sea aquarium
In summer there are various markets and events.

In spring the flowering bulb fields are a real feast for the eyes.

Julianadorp was the proud winner of the Atraveo Prize in 2012. The Atraveo Prize is an international award for the most popular seaside resort in Europe. The holiday guests appreciate the wide beach, the high dunes, the colourful flower fields as well as the high-quality holiday accommodations

Julianadorp again received the "blue flag". The Blue Flag is an international award given annually to beaches whose seawater quality and facilities on the beach are of a high standard. The icing on the cake in the series of awards for Julianadorp 2013 was the 4-star plaque for the very clean beach.

The area around Julianadorp and Den Helder is one of the sunniest places in the Netherlands with the cleanest air!

Through the dunes one can undertake endless bicycle tours on developed ways.
