The prices vary depending on the season and the number of people, the rates are very affordable considering that you will have the historical beauty of Venice near the front door and you will live just like a Venetian. The house is a 7-minute walk from the water bus to Venice and the islands and about 10 minutes from the beach. The villa is located near all services: bank, supermarkets, pharmacy, buses, bars, pizzerias, restaurants, cinemas, shops of all kinds and buses.
There are 2 bicycles available (only for adults) to walk in peace through the streets of the Lido, admiring the Liberty villas and beautiful gardens.
It is ideal for those who want to spend a cultural holiday visiting museums and palaces and at the same time relax in the silence and tranquility of the island.

Any cancellation by you (for any reason) must be in writing and addressed to the owner. The effective date of cancellation is when the written notification is received by the Owner. If you cancel your booking, the Property Owner will retain the following amounts: 8 weeks or more before arrival in Lido: the deposit; 4 weeks before arrival in Lido: the total rent must be paid. Should you have to leave for a family reason before the departure date, the rent will not be reduced.

The villa was built in the '20s by my grandparents. I was born in Venice and have a close connection with the city and especially with the Lido where I always spend the summer and every free moment from commitments. I graduated in foreign languages and literatures, I know German and English and I like to speak with my guests to get to know them better and help them to love Venice and its Lido.

This year in August

This year in August (1st - 29th August) we were already for the fourth time in Carla and Daniele's vacation apartment.

Although the circumstances were different this year, as we had to follow the Corona rules and we could only greet each other from a distance with elbow bumps and masks, we were still welcomed like family. We were given good KN95 masks right away to be well-equipped.

In the kitchen, we were warmly welcomed again with a beautiful fruit basket, water, and a good bottle of Prosecco.

The apartment had everything we needed, all kitchen utensils were there, even coffee, olive oil, and spray balsamic vinegar for Daniele's fresh garden tomatoes. Before our arrival, Carla even asked what else she could shop for us.

The apartment was always safe and clean, we always slept very well there.

If we had any questions, wishes, etc., we could always go to Carla and Daniele and they immediately helped us with good tips. We gladly used the provided bicycles for shopping and as a means of transportation on the island. The Wi-Fi in the apartment was very good, there was even Netflix television.

Our stay was fabulous again this year, we always like to come back.

The apartment with Venetian charm is good.

The apartment with Venetian charm is a quiet place to relax and a good starting point for activities. The owners take great care of their guests and their well-being. Free bicycles are available for day trips. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We look forward to our next stay in 2019.

Lovely hosts, perfect holiday

We loved our stay at Carla‘s house. She and her husband are lovely hosts. Very supportive and helpful with any questions we had. The house is cosy and comfortabel, super clean. You get a perfect impression how venetian life always was and still is. Carla even offered us bikes so we had the chance to explore theLido easily. The house is in 10 minutes walking distance to the Vaporetto stop to Venice. Mille Grazie Carla per tutto! We highly recommend your house!

Lovely place and excellent hosts

We booked to stay on Lido as we felt it gave us the best of both worlds - access to Venice but also the option for a more relaxed time on the beach. Our accomodation was excellent and Carla made us feel really welcome. She was able to give us some great tips on the best way to get around etc and her load of the bikes made a massive difference and had us zipping around the island! Only a few minutes walk to the water bus terminal and anout 15 to the beach (although only 5 by bike) it was ideally located. It was good to know that seh was on-site if we needed help but we had privacy and independence with the apartment.

warm welcome in Venice

warm welcome in Venice We come to Venice almost every year and for the first time we stayed in this lovely villa on the Lido, in the apartment on the first floor. From the first moment we felt very much at home and welcome. The owners are very warm and helpful people. Our apartment on the first floor is part of (what we call) un old urban villa, only 2 meters above a beautiful garden with a terrace and direct access to the garden. The big terrace, sunny in the morning, with a large table and comfortable chairs, gave us the possibility to have all our meals outside (to live outside). Every things you need in a kitchen was there. We also could sit in the garden which has not only flowers and trees but also herbs we were allowed to use for our dishes. The neighbourhood is very quiet and shops, restaurants, the vaporetto and the beach are at walking distance. We had a very good time in this nice place and are looking forwards to return there next year for more than two weeks.

Five stars on the Lido

We stayed for the third time in the beautiful, personal and stylish flat with terrace on the Lido and were again very grateful and delighted. The flat is close to the vaporetto pier and shopping, the beautiful garden invites you to linger; (for colder days:) the flat has heating; the mattress in the bedroom is firm and wonderful; from the Murano chandelier to the Jugenstil elements and the beautiful paintings, everything is personal, stylish and inviting. Cooking in the kitchen with terrazzo floor and dining on the terrace make the holiday days a pleasure. We are very grateful to Carla, who always made our stay a pleasure with her helpfulness, good hints, conversations, care, sovereignty and great friendliness.
