Our holiday home is tranquilly situated between meadows and forests on the slopes of the Siegtal.
If you are looking for peace and nature, you have come to the right place. Enjoy walks through untouched landscapes; here you get a break from hectic, noise and crowds.
Our half-timbered house has been lovingly restored, so you don't have to do without the comforts of modern living. At your disposal are:
* a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave ...
* a newly renovated bathroom with shower and WC
* a spacious living-dining room with dining area, sitting area, TV, stereo, DVD player, games cupboard with board games and a selection of books
* on the upper floor a large bedroom with four sleeping places (1 double bed, 2 single beds)
* a small bedroom with 2 sleeping places.
When the weather is nice, they enjoy spending time on the two terraces, take a walk across the meadow orchard, play table tennis or table football.
Children's toys (Bobby-Cars, tractors, small bicycles, sandbox) are also available.

Location and surroundings of object
The Eitorfer district of Wilbertzhohn consists of only about 10 houses with about 25 inhabitants in total. Our holiday home is located on the outskirts of the village on a large orchard meadow, has its own driveway and several parking spaces. The municipality of Eitorf is located in the south-eastern part of the Rhein-Sieg district (district capital Siegburg) in North Rhine-Westphalia. The southern border of the municipality is also the border to Rhineland-Palatinate. Situated directly on the River Sieg, Eitorf borders on the foothills of the "Bergisches Land" and the "Westerwald". The altitude of the municipality of Eitorf is 83 metres above sea level in the centre of the village and 388 metres above sea level on the highest elevation, the "Hoher Schaden" (in the area of the "Hüppelröttchen" hiking area).
There is a motorway connection to the A 3: towards Cologne in a westerly direction through the Siegtal valley via the L 333 to the Hennef junction (approx. 15 minutes by car), towards Frankfurt in a southerly direction to the Bad Honnef/Linz junction (approx. 20 minutes by car). The suburban railway connection (Köln-Au) and the regional express connection (Köln-Siegen) provide good rail links. The L 86 runs in a north-south direction through the municipal area with a direct connection to the B 8 in the direction of Hennef-Altenkirchen. The L 333 (Siegtalstraße) runs in a west-easterly direction from Hennef to Windeck. The distance to the district town of Siegburg is approx. 20 km, to the federal city of Bonn approx. 35 km and to the Rhine metropolis of Cologne approx. 50 lies somewhat apart from Eitorf "on the mountain" in the midst of meadows and forests.

A great stay in a perfect location....
It was a great stay in a perfect location! We liked the house very, very much...we would have liked to stay longer. The landlords are very nice and there is a lot of information beforehand. We will definitely come back more often ;))
