Welcome, we are pleased about your interest in our holiday flat and would like to welcome you as guests in our house. From our quiet yet conveniently located holiday flat, you can reach the city centre on foot in around 25 minutes through the Gärtnerviertel, part of Bamberg's World Heritage Site. Alternatively, there are two bus lines about 150 metres away.
The university town of Bamberg with its old town, but also with the Gärtnerviertel, which is only a few minutes' walk from our house, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. Bamberg is just as famous for the tradition of its breweries as for its world-famous cathedral and the diversity of its medieval and baroque old town. For theatre and music lovers, this and the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra offer a rich programme. From our holiday flat you can explore the beauty of the city and discover Franconian Switzerland, Nuremberg, Würzburg, Coburg or the baroque architecture of Franconia in Banz Monastery, Vierzehnheiligen and Pommersfelden in excursions. The Obermain-Therme in Bad Staffelstein invites you to relax. In the evening you will find a variety of specialities in the rich gastronomic landscape around Bamberg. Should you wish to stay with us with 6 people, this is also possible. We have a sofa bed in the living room that converts into two beds.

Butcher's shop, supermarket, photo shop, doctor and dentist and an Italian restaurant are in the immediate vicinity. The nearest bus stop (Kloster-Banz-Straße or the Grafensteinstraße stop in 5 minutes) in Zollnerstraße (lines 901 and 931 as well as night bus line 935) is a two-minute walk away. The night line also stops here. From there it is only two or three stops to the train station or five minutes to the central bus station in the city centre.

We have been renting out two holiday flats in Bamberg for many years. We decided to do this because we have come to know and appreciate this type of rental on our own travels. Besides good mattresses, there are some personal touches that we hope our guests will enjoy. We would be happy if you like it in Bamberg and feel comfortable with us.
