Do you want to ensure that your children won't be bored for even a second during your holiday? Then renting this cozy 6 persons holiday home just outside of Ossenisse is a perfect choice. It's a very child friendly mini camping with around fourteen holiday homes in total. There are many animals which the children can take care of together with the owner. The holiday chalets are each located on a large area and some have a large enough field to house your horse. You can also rent horses here for an outdoor trek, horse cart or riding lessons.
The area around the holiday homes offers enough space for the children to play and there are multiple go-karts and bikes which they can use. There is also a petting zoo, launderette, carp pond, catering facility, outdoor pool, trampoline, playground, playing field and animation in the high season. Ossenisse is located on the Westerschelde in Zeeuw-Vlaaderen, the surroundings are perfect for going on beautiful hikes or long biking tours but also for visiting cities like Brugge, Knokke and Antwerpen. We liked that the children were so free and happy. They could move around freely and use everything that was available. The playgrounds were great! But what impressed us all the most was the friendliness and the interaction with the animals. The morning feeding of the animals with Farmer Piet was so great and informative that our children were still talking about it in the evenings. I also have to mention the horseback riding, which was great and especially the friendliness and patience of the daughter. We had a wonderful holiday with our grandchildren. Thank you for everything.

The farm is a dream for children and families! We had a very nice time and the children would have loved to stay for another week. Piet and Terry are great hosts and especially take care of the children with a lot of patience and love. They got up early to feed the animals in the morning and had a lot of fun doing it. The animals are all kept in large and very well-maintained enclosures. In addition, the farm has a large fleet of pedal cars, tricycles, and other play equipment that the children can use to explore the farm. The play equipment is also very well-maintained and cared for. The further equipment leaves nothing to be desired. Play barn, trampoline (InGround!!), table football, barbecue area... I can't list everything here. Quiet time is from 7 pm, so that nobody is disturbed and even small children can find their peaceful sleep. So an absolute recommendation and we will definitely come back! Thank you very much!

The log cabin is cozy and you can sit very nicely on the porch. Additionally, there is the possibility to be in your own garden area. The kitchen is well equipped and we didn't miss anything for cooking. In the morning, the chickens with their chicks passed by our porch. A funny spectacle! There are many animals on the farm that were fed together with the families in the morning. There are also many play options (trampoline, playgrounds, pool) for children. We were there without children and felt very comfortable as well.

Always helpful, super lovely hosts who try to make everything possible, be it help with a car breakdown or bicycle rental or directions, etc. Simply nice people on a great property with everything a child's heart desires. Farmer Piet is so kind to feed the many great animals every morning with the children and takes his time to explain everything. The playgrounds are well equipped and there is something for every age. The pool is heated and clean. The bikes and vehicles that the children have at their disposal are also great. But you should definitely be an animal lover for your stay, as chickens, horses, goats, etc. - if they can - come up to the terrace :-) Zeeland offers enough opportunities for activities that can be reached partly by bike or car. Ossenisse is a very quiet, relaxing, beautiful place for walking, cycling, and horse riding. We will definitely come back!

Great environment for children, Farmer Pete explains everything and takes the children to feed the animals and ride on the tractor. The vehicles and playgrounds are great, as well as the heated swimming pool, the barn, and the indoor area for bad weather. Short distance to the sea.

All the animals, especially the horses, great for the children. They were allowed to feed animals, ride on the tractor with farmer Piet. Go-karts, bicycles, everything you could get your hands on. Two playgrounds outside and a swimming pool in the summer.
Really great with young children. Very hospitable and what a quiet place, great to get away from it all.

In addition, the farm has a large fleet of kettcars, tricycles and other playground equipment that the children can use to race around the farm. The playground equipment is also very well maintained and cared for. The other equipment leaves nothing to be desired. Play barn, trampoline (InGround!!), table football, barbecue area.... i can't list everything here. Quiet is the order of the day after 7 pm, so no one is disturbed and even small children can sleep peacefully.
So an absolute recommendation and we will definitely be back!

We liked it very much. There was a lot on offer, especially for the children. Our son, who is almost 10, is out of that age. I would recommend the farm more for younger children.
The hosts were very friendly and always helpful. We were even allowed into the house three hours earlier.
The houses are equipped with everything you need.
