Idyllic holiday home in Swedish style directly on Lake Krakow in a small holiday home settlement with beach, swimming and boat dock. Ideal for relaxing, fishing, hiking, recreation and swimming. Boat and bicycle rental nearby. On the ground floor of the house there is a living room with a wood-burning stove, many books and games, a television with DVD player, a radio with CD player, a dining area, and a kitchenette with full equipment (stove, extractor hood, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, dishwasher), as well as a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with a bunk bed. From the living room and the dining area you have a beautiful view of the lake. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. In the upper floor, separated by a glass wall, there are two more single beds and a sitting area.
The terrace with lake view includes garden furniture, deck chairs, a sun umbrella, and a grill.
It is only a few meters to the lake with its own beach and boat and swimming dock. A boat rental is nearby, and a small restaurant is about a 5-10 minute walk away. An adventure playground is about 100m away in the holiday settlement. The center of Krakow am See with shopping facilities and additional restaurants can be reached on foot in about 15-20 minutes. The surrounding area offers many excursion options for every taste.
The price includes accommodation, water consumption, color TV, Wi-Fi, car parking space.
Minimum rental period is one week.
Pets (dogs only) only on request. To be paid on site: Electricity costs according to consumption (€0.50 per kWh), mandatory final cleaning (€60, €20 surcharge for pets), as well as tourist tax (€1.50 per person per day).
Deposit: €100 per stay, to be paid on arrival on site.
Bed linen and towels must be brought; however, bed linen can also be rented for €12 per set per stay (bed linen and towels for €15) if ordered in advance.
Smoking is not permitted in the house (non-smoking house). Pets (only dogs) allowed only on request.
Changeover: Saturdays, arrival from 4:00 p.m., departure by 10:00 a.m., other dates outside the high season possible by arrangement. Minimum rental period in the high season is 7 nights.

The holiday home is located in a quiet and beautiful setting in a small holiday settlement directly on Lake Krakow, which is part of the Mecklenburg Lake District
Krakow is a small town with approx. 3500 inhabitants and is located directly on the 16 sq km Krakow Lake. The sights of the traditional climatic health resort are rather scenic gems that can be admired well from the Jörnberg lookout tower or from the 81 m high Mäckelberg.
The open-air swimming pool at Krakow Lake surprises with beach chairs like those on the Baltic coast, and the popular lake tours start several times a day from the lake promenade
In the letterpress museum you can see how printed matter was produced just a few decades ago (show printing is available by appointment). If you climb a flight of stairs in the old former building, you will come to the local history museum (a small, nice museum).
Gourmets are also well catered for in Krakow. In addition to good home cooking at affordable prices, there is also an upmarket restaurant. Since gastronomic magazines discovered the restaurant "I know a house by the lake", gourmets have also made a pilgrimage here. So far, no one is said to have left unsatisfied
Nature lovers are delighted: two pairs of white-tailed eagles constantly hunt on the lake, and the abundance of fish has also attracted ospreys, grey herons and cormorants. The Krakow Upper Lake with eight islands has been placed under nature conservation as a wetland of international importance. A 20 km hiking trail leads from Krakow around the lake, which is closed to pleasure boats. Common Terns have the largest breeding colony in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the nature reserve, and for the Tufted Duck the lake forms the largest wall site in northern Central Europe. Permanent breeding birds include 4000 pairs of black-headed gulls, great crested grebes and grey geese
Quite unusual for the northern German landscape is the Nebel Durchbruch valley. The river leaves Krakow Lake at Serrahn and breaks through the terminal moraine in a northerly direction. Between the rocks, the water becomes a rushing mountain stream. If you hike along the "Nebeltal" nature trail, you can watch trout in the clear water. The river, surrounded by forests, may not be navigated by pleasure boats. The romantically situated Kuchelmiß watermill, first mentioned in 1296, with its 17th century mill technology, has been restored and the mill museum is open from May to October.
