The holiday apartment was completely renovated for you from December 2017 to January 2018. As we are continuously modernizing & renovating for you, a tumble dryer has also been available to you since February 2020.
We were classified with 4 stars by the German Tourism Association (DTV) in March 2018, 2021, and 2024.
You will enjoy your holiday on 78 sqm of living space. The allergy-friendly holiday apartment is divided into a living room, separate kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a shower with toilet.
Telephone, satellite TV, internet, towels, one bathrobe per person on request, bed linen, as well as use of the washing machine are included in the rental price. A lockable garage is available for bicycles and e-bikes.

In the event of cancellation, we charge 80% of the total amount. Of course, we will try our best to re-rent the vacation apartment as quickly as possible in your interest should a cancellation occur.

Neuharlingersiel: crabs and sea
The harbour basin with the fishermen's sculptures is a popular meeting place. Harbour concerts are held here every Sunday during the season.
The small harbour with its cutters lies idyllically behind the North Sea dyke. The mostly brick-red houses frame the harbour basin, blue street lamps form a charming contrast: the maritime backdrop is just right in Neuharlingersiel. The crab cutters with their large nets are a popular photo motif for tourists on the promenade at any time of year, and often more: if you like, you can buy the freshly caught crabs directly from the cutter. Dishes with crabs and fish are also high on the menus of the restaurants in the surrounding houses.
Tradition as a fishing and seaside resort
The history of Neuharlingersiel is closely linked to the sea; the harbour has shaped the town for more than 300 years. The name is a reminder of its origins: a brick siel - a water culvert with gates made of solid wood - has protected the houses and hinterland from the North Sea tides since 1875. Initially established as a transhipment point for ship cargo on its way to Northern Europe, deep-sea fishing gained in importance, followed by crab fishing after the Second World War.
To this day, crab fishermen set out from Neuharlingersiel with their boats for the North Sea.
Neuharlingersiel also has a tradition as a seaside resort: the first official prospectus dates from 1912. As there are hardly any sandy beaches on this stretch of coast, a large expanse of sand was washed up to complement the green beach. The sandy beach helps to compete for holidaymakers with the offshore island of Spiekeroog. There is plenty of sand there, and ferries leave Neuharlingersiel several times a day for the 45-minute trip to the island.
Those who prefer nature on holiday can take part in guided walks in the Wadden Sea National Park and get to know its unique flora and fauna.
Healing mud
Neuharlingersiel defies the often harsh climate of the North Sea coast with its seawater swimming pool: the water temperature of 30 degrees gives it a Caribbean flair. Two steam baths and a sauna area round off the wellness fun in the so-called BadeWerk. The facility also offers various treatments with natural silt, which comes from a silted-up bubble. The minerals and trace elements contained in the silt can help with problems with the spine and joints as well as with skin diseases and pain.
