The attractive holiday home is situated in a very quiet and sunny location, 1.5km from the lake, and is furnished for holidays. The town of Balatonalmadi lies directly on the lake, is sheltered with a hilly landscape covered with orchards and vineyards and has a pleasant, Mediterranean climate.
BALATONALMADI is situated at the eastern end of Lake Balaton and is one of the larger towns. It stretches for several kilometres along the lake and has probably the most beautiful and extensive beach facilities and has a very good offer for water sports enthusiasts. There is a very well-developed bicycle network around the lake, as well as elsewhere.
Lake Balaton is located in western Hungary, 90 km west of Budapest and 180 km east of Vienna. Affectionately called the "Hungarian Sea" by the Hungarians, it is the largest inland lake in Central Europe, covering an area of almost 600 square kilometres. The 77 km long lake is divided into two basins by the Tihany peninsula. On average, it is only 3-4 metres deep, and the water warms up quickly to pleasant temperatures, 27 C in summer, making it ideal for swimming.
Enjoy boat trips and sailing on the azure to emerald-green Lake Balaton.
Popular hiking destinations are the nearby Wesseleny lookout tower and the Szabadsag mountain (283m).
