Again and again

We are already a few weeks back from our holidays and stress and everyday life have us firmly in their grip again. How good it is to know that we will still be living off the wonderful days we spent on holiday in our "little paradise".
We already described the Castillo last year. However, we can once again confirm how beautiful, well-kept and relaxing the whole property is.
It was again a holiday from the 1st minute on. Even the booking of the rental car was done at the request of the landlord and is to be recommended.
The Castillo had been lovingly enriched with some new little things, for example, there is now also a dishwasher and the opening from the kitchen to the living room has been embellished with an Arabic arch. Like last year, we were again enchanted by the beautiful grounds, the wonderful plants, the pool and the indescribably beautiful view. All in all, we can only warmly recommend the Castillo de Aguila. We have already booked again for next year.

Fantastic

De rit naar het huis vanult Torrox duurt twintig minuten, en was voor ons elke keer weer een mool moment va de dag. Na het parkeren van de auto bij het huis, loop je rechts langs het kasteel en wat je dan ziet vanuit de achtertuin.... onbeschrijfelijk!
Het huis is zeer compleet, verzorgd en met oog voor detail vormgegeven. Daarnaast biedt het huis veel privilege. De verhuurder is vrieendelijk en is alle afspraken nagekomen. Een absolute aanrader niet alleen vrienden en familie, maar voor iedereen! Rien en Griffioen-Nederland

Great holiday home

Unfortunately, I only noticed today that our evaluation from last year seems not to have been accepted after the holiday. Therefore once again:
This house is really fantastic, there is really nothing to complain about. The rental, rental car, description of how to get there, the furnishing of the house, the garden, pool and the view, just great. Everything was as described by the landlord. The same goes for the contact with the landlord and the on-site manager. We enjoyed the 3 weeks very much and can recommend this domicile. A jewel at the foot of the Sierra de Almijara

Instead of an assessment, a letter to the owner:
Hello Mr W.. we have stayed in many holiday homes in different countries, all of them with a pool and most of them in beautiful locations. But yours was the most beautiful! You notice immediately that the owner lives here and has made himself comfortable. And how beautiful. The details, chosen with love and placed with a great sense of aesthetics, only become apparent in their diversity as the days go by. My wife and I were thrilled, as we are also lovers of old utensils. Everything lovingly decorated, not a single hook from the DIY store to be found, and what a great light switch in the bathroom! The kitchen a veritable museum! A wonderful combination of functionality and aesthetics. Nothing is missing, but nothing at all. ma rarely experiences that either. A reasonably trained eye will immediately notice the skill and variety of ideas of the owner of the house. My compliments to you and your wife! I took 150 photos of your beautifully planted and decorated outdoor area alone - that says it all. The wonderfully placed clay pots are always in view
We spent wonderful days. Only once did we go swimming in the sea. But we did a lot of travelling by car. With Schlosser-Reisen we went to Granada with the incredibly impressive Alhambra as the crowning glory. We drove to Ronda ourselves and to the southern tip of Spain to Tarifa. There we were allowed to take part in a special experience. The first migratory birds were on their way to Africa and we saw numerous eagles, vultures, storks and many more. We avoided Malaga and the big bathing resorts - not really our thing. We preferred a nice holiday home with a great panoramic view.

A little paradise on earth

Just under half an hour's drive from Malaga airport lies this little paradise in Spain. We were thrilled from the first minute. Even the communication beforehand was exemplary. Booking the house, a rental car - everything without any problems via the landlord. With the help of a very detailed description of how to get there, we arrived on the small "mountain" and saw the small domicile, which we only know from glossy postcards. A swimming pool with a pleasant 29°C. A spacious living area with 2 bedrooms. A very nicely furnished kitchen and an excellent garden were our place of recreation for 2 weeks. Over the days we enjoyed every minute and found that everything - really everything - had been thought of. From the brick barbecue to the little helpers in the kitchen to the bathing equipment - everything was on site. As a self-caterer you don't have to go far to Torrox - there you can find everything your heart desires - including cheap shopping possibilities. As for the property itself, it is in top condition - with a wonderful view of the sea. No other hotel could give us such a view so far. Around the house, a beautiful flora grows and flourishes - with typical Spanish cacti and palms as well as fig trees. We are very satisfied with the house - we will definitely book it again and can highly recommend it if you are looking for an undisturbed, invisible and paradisiacal place.

Dreamlike holiday

We stayed at Castillo Aguila for the first time and were absolutely thrilled. It was a holiday we will remember for a long time. Pure relaxation from the very first minute. The booking of the house was well organised and the rental company took care of a suitable rental car. We were picked up at the airport by a member of staff from the car rental company and 15 minutes later we were already on our way to Torrox in our rental car.
Already the first sight of the house made us go into raptures. A fantastic sea view, a beautiful terrace, a wonderful pool with 28°, the garden - a little paradise with lemon trees, figs, palms, cacti, grapes - all very well maintained. The house has a large living-dining area, 2 bedrooms, a large bathroom with shower and toilet and a nice kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired, from the microwave to the Tupperware, everything is available and furnished with much love and very tasteful. Torrox can be reached in about 20 minutes. There are doctors, pharmacies and shopping facilities. There are beautiful golf courses in the immediate vicinity at very favourable conditions. All in all, we enjoyed every minute of this holiday, we recovered wonderfully in this unbelievable peace and are already looking forward to next year. We will gladly come back to this little paradise, which can be highly recommended. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our landlords once again and wish them all the best until next year!

Wonderful holiday in beautiful accommodation

We spent our Christmas holiday at the Castillo and it was very nice.
After arriving above Torrox via the small road/trail on the mountain, the location of the house can only be described as "dreamfaft".
We really enjoyed the fantastic view of the sea, the beautiful Mediterranean garden and the wonderful sunsets. And also in the house everything is tastefully furnished, nothing is missing. Shopping is good at Mercadona, also fresh produce. Unfortunately, the time passed far too quickly. We were very lucky with the weather, it was pleasantly warm and there was pure sunshine every day, only one heavy rain shower on Christmas Day. The Castillo is definitely a quiet place where you can leave everyday life behind you....
On a positive note, the rental car was arranged by the landlord.
We will definitely keep this Christmas in good memory, we could not have chosen a nicer place for it and can only recommend it.

a dream

We arrived back in Germany a few days ago and can fly straight back to the dreamlike finca. The sea view is sensational and offers wonderful sunsets. After a wonderful day on the beach, we were delighted every time we returned by the view. We would love to come back, a truly beautiful finca for individualists!
