Beachfront and beautifully furnished

We found the vacation home and the landlords through a Facebook group and were drawn to it because of the many positive recommendations, which we can wholeheartedly pass on.

The house was overall very well equipped and offered everything needed for a pleasant stay. Only a bit more storage space in the form of more wardrobes would have made our stay even more comfortable. We particularly liked the tasteful and loving decoration, which was designed to match the season and gave the house a very cozy atmosphere.

The location is also a big plus: The beach is reachable in a short time, which was very nice for walks or spontaneous outings.
Since we were there in winter, we hardly used the garden, but in summer, one can surely relax and unwind wonderfully there. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would book the holiday home again at any time.

Great autumn vacation - Arrive and feel at home

We (3 adults, 1 dog) felt very comfortable during our first visit. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is there. Bad weather? No problem, we lit the fireplace :-) and it was sooo cozy. You can also get to the beach quickly. After "the 60," definitely our favorite No. 2 ;-).

Perfect house, perfect location, perfect place!

We had wonderful vacation days with our dogs in the house Tormentil 25 in Julianadorp. We could enjoy the view of the dunes. The dogs could run freely in the completely fenced garden. The beach is very close and easily accessible on foot. The landlords are very nice.

Great house

We spent a fantastic week in this holiday home! The location behind the dunes is perfect – just a few minutes to the beach, surrounded by beautiful nature and with great opportunities to explore the area. The house is lovingly furnished, very clean, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. We especially liked the beautifully designed garden with various seating areas. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful – we were able to reach someone directly.
We can definitely recommend the house.

Dreamlike location

For the umpteenth time, and certainly not for the last time, we have booked this lovingly furnished house where nothing is lacking. You feel at home on vacation nonetheless.

The location is truly exceptional; after about 300 meters, you can reach the access to the beach on foot from the garden or take the bikes to the path that runs parallel to the coastal road through the dunes.

"Dreamlike" describes it quite well.

Short vacation in Julianadorp

We were able to spend 5 days in the beautiful holiday home of the Toewe family, we felt very comfortable here. The dogs loved running on the beach. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate very well, but it wasn't too bad. We did quite a few things (visited Texel, Haarlem, and Amsterdam).
We would come back?

Dream vacation for human and dog

In this vacation accommodation, there were no wishes left unfulfilled for us, 4 people and 4 dogs.
The house is located in a quiet and small park. The property's surroundings are truly wonderful, allowing for some sunny hours in the garden.
We were particularly delighted by the really large cooking and dining area with the big dining table, which was perfect for game nights.

Sun, sea, and a great accommodation = relaxation

We have already been here for the second time at Tormentil 25 and would book it again anytime.
The house simply has a super beautiful large garden. Thanks to the two terraces, you can have breakfast nicely in the sun in the morning and sit under the large roof in the evening or even during rain (luckily we only had a short one evening) . The proximity to the beach was perfect for us with the dog. The cozy furnishings are exactly our style. Arriving and feeling good?

We felt very comfortable in this holiday home. With 3 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 medium-sized dogs, we had enough retreat options. The 2 terraces and the fenced garden for the dogs to run and feel at ease were fantastic. The house is really beautifully located by the dunes and the small lake. Contact with the landlords was always very pleasant. A broken bench in the garden was promptly replaced the next day. We would vacation there again anytime.

Great vacation with a pack of dogs.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The house is well equipped and nicely furnished. All the things for everyday needs were available, we didn't miss anything. Communication also went very smoothly, a last minute booking was not a problem. We were there with 2 people and 5 dogs and felt very comfortable.

The mentioned noise comes from the drain tunnel by the road, which is only noticeable when listening carefully.

Julianadorp for the third time

This was now our third vacation home of the Toewe family in Julianadorp. The house provided enough space for 4 people and 3 dogs. There is a large dining room, flooded with sunlight in good weather. The living room with its 2 sofas is also very spacious. In addition, there are 2 terraces, one of which is equipped with a roof. The overall equipment and cleanliness of the house offers no reason for criticism.

Due to its location directly behind the dunes, you can reach the kilometers-long sandy beach within a few minutes. A paradise for dogs. For dining out, we can recommend Kookerij Brammetje. Very nice service and very good food. For fish lovers, Salmon Oak is a good choice, with freshly smoked salmon that tastes wonderful.

We will come back to Tormentil.

Unfortunately, it smells very unpleasant in the house. Perhaps it is due to the extractor hood, which doesn't pull anything from the grates. Cleanliness was also not great; it was very dusty. The house is located on a street, as is one bedroom. There is an unevenness in the street, causing every car to make a pom pom sound.

We have now been to Holiday House Tormentil 25 with our dogs for the third time and we really enjoyed it again.
The house is very well equipped, we don't miss anything.
The location with the short walk to the beach is unbeatable. We always enjoy that we can do without the car except for shopping.

Autumn vacation in a great location

Cozy, nicely furnished holiday home in absolutely great location, only max. 10 minutes' walk to the beach. The garden is generously laid out and in summer, you can surely wander from shady spot to shady spot there wonderfully. When we had a small problem, Mr. Toewe was immediately on hand and took care of it. Even in rather autumnally wet weather, we were able to stay very well in the house.

Dreamily quiet bungalow in a prime beach location.

We are absolutely thrilled with the Toewe family's bungalow. It is located right by the dunes and the beach entrance, surrounded by a fenced garden. The Bungalow Park de Zandloper is peaceful and very clean. We were absolutely thrilled and will definitely come back. The Toewe family was very friendly and the bungalow is equipped with everything you need, clean, tidy, and lovingly decorated.

Great house in a location near the beach!

Tormentil 25 is the perfect holiday domicile for dog owners! The house is very cozy and the garden is safely fenced for dogs (except for Greyhounds, as the gate may be too low for them, since local rabbits tend to hop around on the street). The beach can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Those who vacation with dogs in Tormentil 25 should not forget to bring their own dog beds, towels, and bowls so that the dogs are not tempted to sleep on the comfortable sofas! ;-) Both our dogs and we would have liked to stay longer!

A beautiful holiday comes to an end

There were two of us in the beautifully situated holiday home with our dogs.
You can take the dogs straight there, but we always went towards Den Helder to a small wood, where it was great to walk. The beautiful surroundings (Schoorl) invited us to go for a walk. There was nothing missing, a supermarket was nearby and also restaurants, although we mostly cooked ourselves.
We will definitely come back to this beautiful holiday home.

A perfect week with our pack

The first thing to highlight about Tormentil 25 is of course its unbeatable location. Not only can you get to the dream beach of Julianadorp very quickly, you can even hear the sound of the sea on the terrace, depending on the wind, thanks to the direct location behind the dune.
Our 6 dogs enjoyed being able to move freely in the spacious garden. Only the smallest could have slipped through the front gate with a little effort. However, after the long walks they were all so well exercised that there were no escape attempts.
We liked the very tasteful furnishings of the house and slept very well. Maybe one day the TV will be replaced by a smart TV for Netflix and the like. But that is by far not the most important thing for us.
In any case, we are already looking forward to our next holiday in Tormentil 25 in March 2023.

Very nice accommodation!

It is a very beautiful and well-equipped accommodation. The location is fantastic, 10 minutes to the huge beach and then straight into the North Sea. Our dog felt very comfortable, and so did we. We are super relaxed, also thanks to the great weather. We would be happy to come back anytime.

The house and property fulfill all our wishes inside and outside, it is particularly suitable for families with children and dog(s) due to its convenient location to the sea and the town center, to spend a fulfilling and relaxing holiday. Very nice and clean accommodation,

a lot of space that you need when the weather is not so good. Our four-legged friends and we felt quite comfortable. One downside was that as self-caterers, you definitely need a larger refrigerator. This one was very small. All in all, it was a nice holiday.

Start at home, arrive home

Location:
The location is perfect for a beach vacation with a dog. 500 meters to the dunes, then another 500 meters to the beach (ideally at the very dog-friendly beach pavilion "Zee van Tijd"). The accommodation and surroundings are quiet.

Exterior:
A very large, well-maintained and fenced property (which was very beneficial for our dog) with lots of lawn and flowers/shrubs. One terrace facing east and west, so that you can have breakfast outside in any weather (except rain).
Two technically perfect bicycles are located in the garden shed.
Also in the garden shed: bicycle pump and tools.
The property is surrounded by a hedge, ensuring privacy.
Both terraces offer plenty of seating options.

Indoors:
The rooms are very tastefully furnished. All windows have electric shutters (except in the dining area in the kitchen, where there are "only" blinds). We did not use the washing machine or sauna, so we cannot provide any experience in that regard :-)
Storage space in the bathroom is generous, which is very helpful for three female residents.
The beds are comfortable, and there are plenty of clean cabinets.
Speaking of cleanliness: the entire apartment is very clean and well-maintained. For the first few days, garbage bags and some cleaning supplies were also provided.
By the way: inside, there was also a rich and very comfortable seating and resting furniture selection.

Service:
. . . is key. They immediately and personally addressed our (small) problems and (silly) questions.

Conclusion:
We will probably be repeat offenders. :-)

Dunes in sight.

With a view of the dunes, we spent beautiful vacation days in the ground-level bungalow. This house, too, has been beautifully renovated by the Toewe family with great taste. We knew it was an older renovated house, which had advantages for us such as a large surrounding garden (so we always found a nice spot in the spring sun, with numerous seating options around the house), a carport (where one could have sat outside covered in case of rain, but we had great weather), all on one level, kitchen doors that can be opened as a windbreak, lots of glass for a great view of the dunes and the fenced garden with hedgerow (almost not visible) ensuring brightness and sunshine in the house. The bedrooms are rather small, as shown in the pictures and description. The well-equipped, bright kitchen, on the other hand, is all the larger, and the beautiful bathrooms are great. The living room with fireplace, couch corner, and chaise longue is cozy. The electric exterior shutters, also in the bedrooms, are pleasant. The description exactly corresponds to the equipment. The cleanliness of the house is worth mentioning. We have spent our vacation for the second time in a house of the family. We had a great time and can highly recommend these landlords, the contact is very nice and everything is extremely uncomplicated. We saw and experienced a lot again and took beautiful trips in North Holland every day, there is so much to see and so many pretty places and great restaurants - especially during the tulip bloom and with magnificent sunsets at one of the beach restaurants, it is simply wonderful. Only in one specific location, our mini dog was not welcomed, otherwise the region is characterized by dog-friendliness as well as child-friendliness and absolutely uncomplicated vacations in a relaxed atmosphere. It is clear that we want to come back to the most beautiful region of Holland for me, and always enjoy vacationing in one of the beautiful Toewe houses!

Simply beautiful

Everything just fit perfectly. Very nice landlords who provided us with all the information we needed by email. Super beautiful house, we immediately felt like we were on vacation. You can see that everything was furnished with a lot of attention to detail. There was more than enough equipment so that no wishes could remain unfulfilled. Great that there are bicycles available, so you don't have to bring your own. Unfortunately, we couldn't take a bike ride because one of our dogs got injured. We would come back anytime and definitely recommend it.

Very chic furnished apartment, with that certain something.

The apartment is decorated with a lot of taste.
It is a place to feel good as soon as you arrive.

Coming back soon

We were in the beautiful house in March, which is very lovingly furnished, new fantastic bathroom. Despite the stormy weather, we felt comfortable, there is a fireplace. grins. The beach was also not far, from the garden you could hear the sea. We will gladly come back in May.

Very nice and modern renovated bungalow

The house was obviously just modernized or renovated with a lot of attention to detail and very tastefully. Because everything matched our taste exactly, no deductions, even though a few small things were missing for us (e.g. towel and toilet paper holders missing, coat hooks would have been good, the washbasin in the separate toilet was not connected yet...), but that will surely be fixed soon, we were also early with our short vacation :-D. Everything else you need is there! The house is bright and cozy, and the garden is also beautiful for dogs because it is completely fenced, large enough, and equipped with plenty of comfortable seating for humans. Amazingly, and not self-evidently, there are also 2 modern bicycles available. In summary, we had a wonderful short vacation, and this accommodation certainly contributed to it. We would love to come back. Thank you to the Toewe family for offering such beautiful houses (we already know Yperhof 17) as holiday homes for "dog people," even for stays shorter than a week.

Urlaub mit Hund

We spent wonderful, relaxing days in Holland. The splendid "autumn weather" certainly contributed to this. The minor complaints we had did not diminish the relaxation value. Our messages were immediately responded to. We will gladly come back!!

Tolle Unterkunft

We stayed for the second time in this beautiful accommodation, lovingly decorated♥️. And we are repeat offenders ;-) We have already booked twice for 2022. The location is great AND there is even an oven, which is not common in most accommodations in Holland. Communication with the Toewe family is straightforward and they are always available. Absolute recommendation

P. s. A clothes drying rack for the cold seasons would be great (but maybe we just haven't discovered it yet ;-) )
