Everything is great!

We felt very comfortable and well looked after. The house was super clean and beautifully furnished. With two bathrooms, even with six people, the stay is very relaxed and no one gets in the way.
The only thing that could be improved is the location regarding shopping options, but with a car, it's absolutely not a problem.

We would be happy to come back!

Ein tolles Ferienheim

A beautifully located holiday home. The facilities and rooms are perfect for up to 6 people. My family of 5 felt very comfortable. The large garden invites you to linger even in moderate weather. The bathrooms are very nice and everything was very clean. We will definitely come back.

Great house with a beautiful terrace and sauna and a short walk to the beach.

We used the house together and had more than enough space. For bad weather, there is a sauna and the bicycles can be stored in a lockable shed. We appreciated the proximity to the beach and the beach pavilions.

The nearby Breskens is not as crowded as other places in South Holland. There are plenty of nice little eateries and fish shops. With the passenger/bike ferry, you can reach Vlissingen in 25 minutes and explore the places and the landscape there.

Near Breskens, there is a beautiful bird sanctuary and the recommendable museum café "Het Koekoeksnest."

We can easily imagine coming back.

Beautiful house with garden near the sea.

We spent some lovely days in the holiday home of the Beckmann family with two adults and five children. The house is very well equipped and communication with Mrs. Beckmann worked perfectly. The park offers two nice playgrounds and a small shop with a bakery, which was perfect for us. The beach is about a 15-minute walk away. We would love to come back!

Quiet, restful week.

It was a nice, relaxing vacation in the pre-season. The house is equipped with everything you need for a week. The owners or the caretaker are always available. The proximity to the sea is great. Unfortunately, the swimming pool, which is only 100 meters away, can only be used by the holiday park residents next door. The opening hours of the park shop found on the internet are unfortunately not accurate in the pre-season, and the surrounding restaurants nearby are only open on weekends during the pre-season. By the end of March, more places should be open. For a peaceful vacation with a dog and walks on the endlessly long sandy beaches, the house was perfect.

Vacation by the sea

We spent a week in February as a couple with our dog in the holiday home. The holiday home is comfortably furnished, both bathrooms newly renovated. The garden is not completely fenced, but this didn't bother us much in February, as we didn't spend much time there with the dog due to the weather. The sea can be reached on foot in 10 minutes, a supermarket by car in a few minutes. It takes about 45 minutes to drive to Bruges, highly recommended. Overall, we had a very relaxing, lovely holiday and can only recommend the house.

In die Jahre gekommenes Ferienhaus

The sauna and the new bathrooms enhance the aging house. The air heating system worked very well and quickly warmed the house. The proximity to the beach was great and a dream for dogs.

Definitely, work could be done on cleanliness and some furnishings. Thankfully, the weather was so rainy and cold that we could not use the "garden furniture and terraces," which are really unattractive and worn out. The "garden" is loveless and not really designed, apart from lawn and a few old rose hedges. Not suitable for dogs to run freely as it is unfenced towards the house front.
An old open fireplace is present, but using it with a dog is too dangerous. We don't know if it is still functional and maintained. No wood or information on where to get it was provided. All park facilities were either closed or not available to us, which did not surprise us at this time of year. If the private sauna were not present, we might not necessarily recommend the house, as it does not completely meet today's standards (except for the bathrooms and skylights). However, given the adjusted price, one can consider what is important to them. There was a reportable incident in the boiler room, where excessive rain and a leaky drain pipe caused dampness on the floor. This dampness is also visible on the bedroom wall and should be addressed, according to the landlady.

Pure relaxation

We stayed in this house during the summer vacation of 2023. Very nice contact with the landlady, the house was clean and everything you need was available on site. We felt very comfortable and of course enjoyed the sauna. It was a completely successful vacation to relax and recover. We will come back!

Cosy house with two new bathrooms and sauna

The house is very cosy and modernly furnished. There is everything you need for cooking. The highlights are the two newly installed bathrooms and of course the small sauna, which we enjoyed using at this time of year. We felt very comfortable in the house again - I have been there for the third or fourth time, which certainly speaks for itself. The holiday complex is directly behind the dyke, so you can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. The proximity to Sluis, Bruges and Vlissingen by ferry also invites you to go for a stroll. The communication with Mrs Beckmann was smooth and reliable. We will certainly come again!

Vacation for 3 adults and 1 dog

We spent 1 week here with 3 adults and 1 dog, were very impressed by the beautifully furnished house. We enjoyed a very nice vacation here and will definitely come back. And can only recommend it further. The large garden is the cherry on top.

We were very satisfied

We were there for 7 days with four adults and three small dogs. As a dog owner, you should know that the front of the property is not fenced. From experience, we always go on holiday with a pasture fence, so it was no problem for us to fence in the garden sufficiently for our needs

The house has two fully equipped bathrooms, which is really advantageous for four adults. The downstairs bathroom has a very large ground level shower, with the upstairs bathroom you shouldn't be too tall to shower. The master bedroom with double bed has access to the terrace. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with two single beds. The terrace in front of the living room is actually in the sun all day. There is a barbecue in the shed, but we did not try it out. There are also two bicycles for adults and one for children. There were also helmets in the shed. We did not use the bikes, so we cannot say anything about their condition. We also did not use the sauna and therefore cannot comment on it
The contact with the landlady was uncomplicated and very nice. Moreover, before the beginning of the rental period, you get a good "instruction" from the landlady with relevant data and telephone numbers. All in all, we were very satisfied and are looking forward to being guests in the house again in September.

Very relaxed vacation in a beautiful environment.

Very nice bungalow with sauna. Everything you need is available. Dogs are welcome. Enclosed garden, quiet location, cozy furnishings. Close to the beach, pleasant landlords, good shopping opportunities nearby. Wonderful nature. Many leisure activities. Have been a customer for a long time and always come back gladly. We are already looking forward to the next vacation. We feel very comfortable here.

Outdated bungalow with various appliances that were not working or simply broken.

The house was not thoroughly cleaned after the previous stay, dust clouds around chairs, dirty plates in the cupboard, coffee filter moldy. Mats not cleaned thoroughly, just dirty. The broom was simply filthy full of hairs from multiple cleaning sessions without cleaning. The crib was broken, outdoor table had a broken leg, almost snapped, the lounger: one leg was almost broken off, the 4 bikes were all unusable (dent in the wheel, gears didn't work), drying rack completely rusted. Some cooking pots were missing their lids, no inventory available of glasses, plates... Umbrella unusable, and does not fit in holder... I find it very regrettable that a cottage with so much potential is so poorly maintained... We were also unable to use the indoor pool, as it was reserved for the other part of Schoneveld. Regrettable... The holiday home has a fantastic location, with beautiful playgrounds nearby. It is a quiet and pleasant environment. The cottage has potential, but someone needs to thoroughly inspect it.

Great accommodation for a beach vacation with a dog!

Very nice accommodation for us as a couple with a dog as a companion. The garden is great, and if you block off the opening towards the front door with a bench and chairs, the dog can run freely without any problems. The proximity to the beach is great, shopping and entertainment options are close by. Bicycles are available, but we would recommend renting bikes nearby. The sauna and the quick communication with the landlord in case of any issues are excellent! Thanks again for that!

Lovely week in September.

Stayed at the Beckmann family's holiday home for a week. The house is a comfortable size and has everything you need. We had great weather, so we didn't use the sauna. The garden was perfect for our dog. The beach is about 400m away!! Ideal.

Urlaub mit viel

Everything one needs is provided in the house as described, the sauna was our favorite, which we enjoyed. We brought our own bedding and chair cushions from home. Our Daisy spent a lot of time in the sun in the garden and was allowed in all beach pavilions at the beach, great. The beach is also very spacious, and dogs are allowed all day until April and after 7 pm during the season from May to September, but then it's already too hot. Then the garden is already a place where one can organize shade with an umbrella. We will definitely come back.

A great holiday home in a beautiful house

We were there for 1 week with our mongrel dog from the end of October to the beginning of November. We liked it very much. Great big house with terraces and sauna and not far from the beach. You can cycle along the beach or explore on foot or just walk along the beautiful long beach and stop for a drink in one of the beach pavilions. The park is beautiful with lovely surroundings. There is also a small supermarket/shop in the park where you can buy fresh bread rolls in the morning. There are also large supermarkets in the town of Breskens sekbst. We can recommend a trip to the town of Sluis. Very nice and cosy town. The trip to Bruges (Belgium) is also worthwhile. Great canals and a market with delicious things. A ferry ride to Vlssingen is also nice. It was a great week and the booking and handling was super and uncomplicated. A big thank you to Mrs Beckmann. We can only recommend this house. Everything was top.

Windy Carnival holidays

But for the weather, neither the house nor the landlord can be held responsible. The holiday property is in good condition, lovingly furnished, and is provided clean. Since the house does not have its own internet connection, it is not surprising that the "free account" via the park's Wi-Fi network is rather slow and can only be used for receiving emails at most. The contact with the landlord was straightforward, and we and our pets will certainly consider this offer again when visiting Breskens later.

Beautiful relaxing vacation

Everything is fine, very nice holiday home

We booked spontaneously and had a fantastic weekend at the holiday house. Mrs. Beckmann was very friendly and answered all our questions beforehand. The house is very neat and quiet, perfect for relaxing or for an active holiday. There are free bikes and a sauna. You can sit and barbecue wonderfully in the garden. The beach is within walking distance.
We would love to come back.
