If you would like to enjoy your holiday in a mountain hut in pure nature, then you are exactly right with us.
The Almhaus Heidi is located at 1800m, in the biosphere reserve Nockberge (on the Falkert) and has room for up to 10 people, without having to do without comfort.
The Almhaus is oriented to the south side and the hillside location allows you many hours of sunshine, as well as a free view of the local mountain "Falkertspitz" and the surrounding peaks, up to the Karawanken.
Within a radius of 50-500m you can reach various highlights that the Falkert has to offer ( restaurants, alpine huts, the Falkertsee, the Heidialm mountain resort, ski lifts and much more) in just a few minutes on foot
In winter the Falkert is characterized by a small but nice skiing area with a ski school for young and old. The ski school is located about 500m from the house and can be easily reached on foot, and there are also other winter sports activities available such as cross-country skiing, tobogganing, winter and snowshoe hiking, ski touring and ice skating.
The next bigger skiing areas are in Bad Kleinkirchheim (world cup downhill) and at the Turracher Höhe. These can be reached by car in 20 minutes.
In summer, the programme includes climbing and bouldering, the Falkertsee lake, cosy alpine huts and alpine dairies, horse riding and the children's paradise Heidialm Bergresort with its playground. A "Kärnten-Card" can be purchased in the surrounding area to take part in many tourist attractions. With this card you get reduced conditions in various facilities.
Boat trips on the Carinthian bathing lakes, mountain biking (Europe's longest Flow Country Trail opened on 19 July 2019 in Bad Kleinkirchheim).
There are about 15 km available and the bike park - consisting of practice course, pump track and practice flow trails.
Golf: Beautifully situated golf club, Bad Kleinkirchheim-Patergassen. Kaiserburg course: 18-hole championship, men 6074 m, women 5431 m, par 72,SSS 72. Reichenau practice centre: 6-hole course, par 3 and par 4, range and all practice facilities, 60 teeing grounds, 800 sqm putting green, pitching and shipping green, practice bunker. Clubhouse with spacious restaurant and magnificent sun terrace. For enthusiastic hikers and golfers a unique opportunity to practice both sports in the 'Nockberge' nature park

Very nice email contact, friendly reception on site. We were given a warm house that leaves nothing to be desired. The house is lovingly and comfortably furnished. The ski area is only 500 m away, perfect for skiing and walking, then off to the sauna. It was a great holiday, we will come again. Best regards from the Z. family.
