we felt very comfortable in your holiday home. Your holiday home INT HÖRN impresses with its facilities, cleanliness and location and leaves nothing to be desired. From Visquard we were able to explore the Krummhörn on many great bike tours and then relax wonderfully in your lovingly landscaped and well-kept garden. In short, a holiday like in a picture book. Pure relaxation

The holiday home is an oasis of relaxation. We felt very comfortable and welcomed there. It is cosy and lovingly furnished. Very friendly and helpful neighbours. As well as nice communication with the landlords. All in all, highly recommended, we were more than satisfied and wish the Matzerath family all the best.

Relaxing vacation in a beautiful house

In this lovingly furnished and sparkling clean cottage, we spent a wonderful, quiet, and relaxing holiday week. The location is very quiet and somewhat secluded, but one can quickly reach wherever they want to go. Many possibilities around, including activities for older children. Simply perfect for us! The Matzerath host family is very friendly and accommodating. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home! Thank you very much! We will definitely come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this great house without any reservations!

Perfect!

First and foremost: For us (father, mother, and a one and a half-year-old active boy), the holiday home was the perfect starting point for our vacation! The house itself offers everything: a parking space on the property, the property itself with lawns that invite both to play and romp around and to relax, a sun deck, a beautiful terrace, three top-condition bicycles, the interior design is very tasteful and selected with a lot of love, complete equipment (kitchen with dining area, living room with television and BlueRay, two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a children's room, WiFi!). Even on rainy days, there is plenty of open space for free development. The location is perfect because tourist destinations (Greetsiel, Norddeich) are particularly crowded during the season. It's just under 5km to Greetsiel, and it takes 30 minutes by car to get to the Norddeich pier, from there it's a ferry ride to Norderney in just under an hour. Juist and Borkum are also easily reachable. The nearest dyke can be reached by bike in a maximum of 40 minutes. If you feel more like a city: Emden is pretty and can be reached by car in 20 minutes. In short: For a family vacation near the beach, the holiday home IN'T HÖRN offers the perfect starting point. 5 stars and highly recommended!

A varied summer vacation

The house is located in the old district of Visquard in a quiet area. It is very well maintained and lovingly and thoughtfully equipped with all the necessary everyday items. The holiday home is in very good condition.
There is a parking space for one car directly in front of the house, and also public and free parking spaces near the church.
A spacious and beautiful garden invites you to linger. With friendly "local" neighbors, a friendly and warm contact can be easily established if desired. The nearest shopping facilities (e.g., bakery, supermarket, etc.) can be reached easily by bike. There are short distances to Greetsiel and Pewsum. Emden can also be reached in a little under half an hour. Heading in the other direction, Norden is quickly accessible, from where ferries to Juist and Norderney depart, sometimes hourly. Day trips are easily possible with small children. The nearby leisure pool Ocean Wave in Norddeich offers fun bathing experiences for both young and old, even in bad weather. At the same location, you can visit the seal sanctuary or the labyrinth, and close by is the Waloseum. All this, combined with a constant fresh breeze, allowed us to enjoy the high summer temperatures (38 degrees) quite well. We wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else in Germany at that time (heat wave over 40 degrees).
We wish similar great experiences to all other guests. . . but please don't book our travel time. . . we will definitely come back. ;-)

Entspannung pur

We spent a wonderful holiday in Visquard during the Easter holidays. The house is idyllically located and very well-equipped. The garden is beautifully landscaped and invites you to relax. For those who prefer more hustle and bustle, Greetsiel is quickly reachable by bike or on foot. There are plenty of other excursion possibilities in the surrounding area. The contact with the landlords was always very friendly. We will definitely come back after 2011 and 2019!

A very beautiful New Year's Eve 2018/19

We celebrated the beginning of the year 2019 with friends. The holiday home is tastefully and high-quality furnished with attention to detail. We lacked nothing. All local suppliers are accessible by bike. Anyone looking for relaxation and tranquility is in the right place here. The church service on December 31, 2018, touched us deeply, even though we are not regular churchgoers! We will definitely come back again!

A gem for time out

We had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week in this lovingly furnished holiday home. Everything is modern and makes you forget everyday life. The area is very quiet, we only missed a bakery
The children took the upper floor, we adults were allowed to use the bedroom on the ground floor. We spent the summer evenings relaxing in our own beach chair.

A perfectly equipped and very tastefully decorated holiday home where you immediately feel comfortable. All rooms are equipped with great attention to detail; the large garden with a beach chair and two terraces is beautiful. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place. With the bicycles provided at the house, you can also quickly reach the bustling town of Greetsiel. All in all, a very successful stay.

Great holiday home and great landlords

We spent 2 relaxing weeks here. Shortly after our arrival, we were already in relaxation mode. The house offers plenty of space and a large garden. Especially the beach chair in the garden invites you to relax, read, or doze off.

The contact with the landlords is very good.

Those seeking peace will definitely find it here. Not a tourist town but authentic East Frisia is offered here. If it's too quiet for you, hop on a bike and you'll be in Greetsiel, a lively fishing village, in 15 minutes.

The East Frisian Islands are accessible from Emden or Norddeich.

All in all, it was a dreamy few weeks that prompted us to reserve for 2017 right away.

Perhaps a washing machine would be beneficial, especially if you're staying here for 2 weeks.

In this house, you can truly relax and enjoy yourself. Plenty of space in the large garden to laze around, free bicycles to explore the area, and if you feel like cooking, the kitchen is fully equipped and very good. Also, the absolute quiet location and proximity to Greetsiel are impressive. We really like this house.

Very appealing, practical, and comfortable furnishing of the house, beautiful garden that also serves as a relaxation area, quiet for those who need/ seek peace, yet good location and fast connection by bike (!) and car to Greetsiel, Emden, Norddeich including the ferry to Norderney. Extremely good contact and immediate service with the landlord, good contact with the very friendly cleaning lady and neighbors.

Relaxed family vacation

We spent a wonderful week in the cozy and modern furnished holiday home. The small terrace right next to the house was perfect for a leisurely breakfast in the morning, and in the evening, we could end the day on the large wind-protected terrace in the garden with grilled sausages. The perfect place to unwind. And our son also had a lot of fun in the large garden. We will be back in 2016!

Urlaub in Hörn

We stayed at the holiday home with 4 people and were very satisfied with the furnishings and spaciousness of the house. For example, everyone had their own bathroom. There are many opportunities to explore the landscape by bike, and it is not far to Greetsiel. Since the bathroom in the basement is also wheelchair accessible, it is suitable for older holidaymakers. We felt very comfortable there, can only recommend it, and will be happy to come back.

Always happy to do it again!

We have been here several times, with up to 4 people and 1 child, most recently in September 2014. We always felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. The house is quiet and lovingly and practically furnished, the garden wonderfully large and equipped with 2 beautiful options for sunbathing or having breakfast. Also worth mentioning are the two well-equipped bathrooms. The nearby charming Greetsiel can be easily reached by bicycle, where you can shop in small stores and dine well in many restaurants. The landscape practically invites you to explore by car or bicycle.

Feeling good guaranteed.

In this very tastefully and lovingly furnished house, we immediately felt very comfortable. Everything one wishes for and needs in a holiday home is available. The terrace, where you can sit wonderfully, and the garden complement the relaxation value very well. Conclusion: highly recommended for people seeking peace and relaxation in a beautiful environment!
