The apartmenthouse Waldhof is located 1,7 km above Hermagor. Hiking trails, Nordic walking routes and mountain bike trails start from the house. Hermagor is the district capital of the valley. The "Gailtal" is located in the border triangle of Austria - Italy - Slovenia. Excursion destinations are the Pressegger See, the Weissensee, the Nassfeld with many alpine pastures, cheese dairies, Aquatrail, mountain bike downhill, summer toboggan run. The Garnitzenklamm, the Egger- and Dellacher Alm. Because of the warm temperature the lake "Pressegger See" is called the "bathtub" of the "Gailtal". The lake "Weissensee" is only a stone's throw away and invites you to go boating, hiking and swimming in the highest bathing lake in the Alps.
