Good, better, best - vacation in the dream house.

For 10 years we have been coming to our dream house in Hunsrück.
It is our temple to unwind - pure relaxation.
Simply an extraordinary house in the middle of nature.
It is always a very special experience to be here.
Plus, the wide natural landscape, red deer herds passing by, a colony of grey herons resting, flocks of cranes to see and hear, and the heron lurking by the pond.
That's how it was this autumn.
Plus, the dear attentiveness of our hosts. The very reasonable price completes the whole experience.
We always go home happy and satisfied, looking forward to the next vacation in our dream house in Hunsrück.

XXL - plenty of space for everyone, including wheelchair users!

The Eagle's Nest-Hunsrück is ideal for wheelchair guests.
Plenty of space and freedom of movement in all rooms, including the kitchen and bathroom.
Everything is wonderfully furnished, impeccably maintained, and very, very inviting.
The electric stair-climbing device gently and comfortably transports us to the beautiful domicile at treetop height. Seeing the world from above and observing the wildlife like a forester from his high seat. That is pure freedom.
That was a great feeling for us - we will book again. Many thanks to our warm and helpful hosts.

Above the things of everyday life!

Once again, we had 10 overnight stays at Adlerhorst-Hunsrück in Hattgenstein. An apartment of superlatives - at a super fair price. Here, vacation guests don't sit in the basement. Here, the vacation guests reign on top - uniquely beautiful. Like in a penthouse apartment with a top view over vast nature. The overall impression is cozy and luxurious at the same time. Spacious rooms, a large kitchen island, and a warm tile stove. Our ladies especially love the large marble bathroom. Scented bubble baths in the large tub are soooo relaxing.
We men enjoy sweating in the infrared sauna.
The offer is perfect for us - we are all thrilled.
Also pleasant is the already mentioned very, very good price.
The nearby surroundings offer a lot of sporting variety, in every season.
For example, hiking, biking, climbing in the high ropes course, golfing, or tennis.
We engage in exciting table tennis tournaments and balance on the slackline. In this bad weather, we train away the calories in the fitness room.
Then we look at gemstones, visit museums, and sacred buildings.
Boredom doesn't arise here - if necessary, there is an almost tropical pool nearby.

Vacation with free flight!

Cozy and spacious is the Eagle's Nest.
Everyone had their nest and their free flight.
We played a lot and went on trips in the area (Enchanted Forest/Viewing Tower) and went to the nearby swimming pool.
We grilled over beechwood fire and baked bread on sticks.
It was a lovely family week.

Wow and great - the first impression was already amazing. Surely, the term "wellness" was invented here. Anyone who can't relax here won't be able to anywhere else. A wooden refuge on a sunny mountainside in a beautiful natural setting.

Sun yellow and fresh green are the inviting colors of the unique country house. Almost endless views over the Schwollbachtal and the National Park heights. Hike in the beautiful nature and prepare delicious treats on the large grill over beech wood in the evening. The children have plenty to do. The huge play ship and the large versatile play area with climbing wall keep boredom at bay. It is especially pleasant that no cars drive here. This is pure freedom for the children. At night we all sleep like logs. We enjoy the great atmosphere in the Eyrie and take it easy - again and again. Until next time. We are already looking forward to it.

Wonderful coziness in Bavaria

With 12 people, including two young children aged 4 and 2.5 years, we traveled to the Adlerhorst to spend a weekend there. We had hoped for sunshine and snow, peace, coziness, well-being, and a place to relax and unwind. Our expectations, from all of us who had traveled from so many directions, were surpassed at the Eagle's Nest: We found it exactly as shown in the pictures, everything excellent, cozy, spacious, and as clean as warmly equipped, the beds perfectly prepared even for the little ones. We truly enjoyed our stay, the accommodation could not have been more beautiful.

The Eagle's Nest-Hunsrück is our dream lodge in the Hunsrück Serengeti (but with trees and lots of green).
Pure nature and wilderness up close around the wonderful wooden house.
Inside, genuine Hunsrück flair in luxury style. Many windows with a wide view of nature.
Nature observation until 10 a.m. today:
North-East balcony:
Colorful pheasant cock among the deer on the meadow. The gray heron high on the wooden fence.
Two red foxes sneaking at the edge of the forest. A weasel darting over the stones at the edge of the pond. The plumage of the two ravens on the chicken coop shimmers blue in the morning sun.
Southeast balcony:
A pheasant sits screeching on the fence, its hens diligently pecking small creatures from the lawn.
Siskins, tits, sparrows, and others chirp in the still leafless trees.
Frogs croak cheerfully in the pond.
Southwest balcony:
Two pregnant does lie on the meadow and three hares hop around them. In the tall oaks, the jays frolic and the nuthatch runs vertically up and down the tree trunk.
Red kites and buzzards hover above everything, and nearby in the forest, the owl calls.
Unique - a natural panorama straight out of a picture book.
We want to experience that more often.

Everyone should treat themselves to the Adlerhorst-Hunsrück. Everything, really everything, is even more impressive on-site than on the website (which is quite detailed). The pleasant scent of wood, the excellent furnishings, ample space in all rooms, very well-maintained - simply excellent. Great location on the edge of the forest with a wide view. All shopping destinations are hardly 10 minutes away. Everyday items like kitchen towels, toilet paper, dishwasher tabs - everything is there. Here, price and performance really match up for the guests.

Paradise in Hunsrück!

how different it is here compared to The Hague (Holland). In the city there is no fresh air, always noise from cars and people, and houses everywhere. Here in Adlerhorst, the best air quality in Germany, a beautiful environment, and Ben the dog watching over us. We already feel like we are in paradise here. That's great!

"Mama, is all of this for us?" our youngest exclaimed in astonishment when we arrived at this super beautiful and incredibly spacious vacation apartment.
Warm welcome, useful instructions on operating the ultra-modern kitchen, and explanation of the electrobiological equipment by the owners.
Here, there is more than in many households. From kitchen paper to barbecue wood to toilet paper, everything is available without extra charge. Not only is this convenient and practical, but it is also cost-saving. Our two boys were also immediately thrilled by their large room and the huge play ship with a real ship bell in the big natural garden. They rode around on the bikes and the awesome go-kart, practiced slacklining, jumped on the trampoline, climbed trees, held table tennis tournaments, felt like captains, and saw many wild animals. Even with the lovely dog Ben, our two boys cuddled, fed the chickens, and got fresh eggs. We cooked them outside on the fire pit together with potatoes and vegetables - super delicious! As parents, we were able to relax wonderfully here. The children were occupied and well taken care of in the spacious fenced garden. We all slept deeply and peacefully at the Adlerhorst-Hunsrück. A very successful holiday that we would love to repeat soon. Really great!

Almost every morning a different natural spectacle with a fantastic sunrise, rainbow, looking down on the mist in the meadow valley from above - wonderful!
In the evening on the large wooden terrace, Toni, the tawny owl, sailed low over us.
Premium house with equally premium facilities.
Even a stair lift was at our disposal.
Various barbecue facilities and crackling fire in the terrace fireplace. Warm, helpful hosts with always good spirits. We felt well taken care of and would love to come back. All from the Diakonie say a big thank you.

Once again, we were able to enjoy your warm hospitality in your cozy refuge and the white winter landscape at its best. Safe like the young eagles in the nest

We were fortunate to have eight days of true peace and relaxation in the wonderful holiday apartment Adlerhorst-Hunsrück. We felt as safe as eagles in their nest here. The Adlerhorst (apartment and surroundings) was like a dream that ended too quickly for us. Both young and old enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Hunsrück region. We would like to thank our hosts for their care and hospitality. We leave with a feeling of nostalgia - however, with the intention to repeat the whole experience. Thank you to all!
