Quiet, central location in the immediate vicinity of the Rennsteig. Our rooms are comfortably and modernly furnished. Parking spaces as well as a sunbathing lawn and terrace with garden (we provide a grill if needed) are available for your use. Wi-Fi is available for a fee. We are an ideal starting point for excursions and hikes of all kinds. Sporting and cultural destinations (Biathlon World Cup, ski races, Rennsteig run, Meiningen Theater, CCS Suhl, Steinbach-Langenbach open-air theater, and much more) can be reached quickly. In every season, our wonderful region is worth a visit. Just a few minutes' walk away you will find a playground with a table tennis table. Hiking trails and cross-country ski trails start right outside the front door. Our house is located in the center of the village, slightly away from the main road, so you will not be disturbed by traffic noise. Restaurants where you can eat well are only a 5-minute walk away.

The small, cozy guesthouse is situated directly on a mountain meadow, surrounded by a beautiful forest landscape. Playground with table tennis table, toboggan slope, hiking and ski trails start/are located directly at the house. Tennis court in the neighboring village. Bowling alley and mountain lake only about 6 km away. The high-altitude trail "Rennsteig" offers numerous well-marked hiking trails and cross-country ski tracks.
Our guesthouse is located in an idyllic valley, on the southern slope of the Thuringian Forest, between Ilmenau and Schleusingen on the former B4, a little off the road, no traffic noise. Schleusingerneundorf is a district of the town Schleusingen, has about 650 inhabitants, is located directly on the southern slope of the Thuringian Forest, in the immediate vicinity of the high-altitude hiking trail "Rennsteig," and has a lot to offer our guests. Quiet and away from stress and hustle, it is the ideal place to relax and recharge. Oberhof is also quickly reached! You can find us between Ilmenau and Schleusingen on the B4. The A73 exit Schleusingen is only 5 km away. We are the ideal starting point for hikes and excursions of all kinds. Excursion destinations, sights, sporting and cultural highlights are quickly reached. (Biathlon World Cup, Steinbach-Langenbach open-air stage, Rennsteig run, etc.)

A cosy pension with beautiful nature
Absolutely recommendable, friendliness of the landlords, great helpfulness, beautiful nature, very good starting point for hiking and cross-country skiing, a good accommodation for everyone!
Restaurant Waidmannsruh is an experience.
We have had lovely holidays here for many years and will certainly be back!
