Not far from the historic boat town of Haren-Ems, the Moritz holiday home offers its guests a carefree and relaxing holiday. The Schloss Dankern holiday center has long been known to families with children. The comfortably and nicely furnished semi-detached house with a living space of approx. 80 m² is very centrally located. It has 2 bedrooms. One room with a double bed and the other with 3 single beds. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a sofa bed. A well-equipped fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, built-in stove, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and toaster is available for self-catering. On the partially covered terrace you can enjoy the south-facing garden

Our holiday home is located in the forest settlement "de Borg" in the heart of Haren-Dankern (Rehweg 5) and is approx. 200 meters from the holiday center Schloss Dankern and the Dankernsee.
Haren (Ems) is located in the heart of the Emsland between Meppen and Papenburg an der Ems. The way to Haren (Ems) leads via the Autobahn 31, which Haren (Ems) opens up with two junctions, or the federal road 70.

Experience the holiday and adventure paradise in the heart of the Emsland with endless leisure opportunities for the whole family: walks on the 3 km long white sandy beach or in the woods around the holiday center, outdoor go-kart track, high ropes course, adventure and mini golf, children's cinema, Inline lane, ice skating rink, bowling center, Topas fun pool, 120 outdoor play equipment galore. The roller coaster was added in 2018. Other activities include ultralight flying, bike tours, city tours with the Emma miniature train and much more. The sights near and far such as the Meyer Werft Papenburg, megalithic tombs, maritime museum, mill museum, peat museum. It is only about 70km to the North Sea and the East Frisian Islands and only about 15km to Holland.
The city of Haren (Ems) is a state-approved resort with forests, woods, moor and fen areas. Right in the heart of the Emsland, directly adjacent to the Netherlands, it offers an attractive mixture of charming landscape and urban life. The resort with the districts currently counts around. Residents. The main traffic arteries include the A 31 federal motorway with two junctions in the city, the navigable Ems or Dortmund-Ems Canal with the Haren (Ems) inland port and the Münster - Emden railway line. Branching off from the Ems or Dortmund-Ems Canal, the Haren-Rütenbrock Canal is the only navigable connection between the North Sea and the Rhine that leads directly into the Dutch canal network. This waterway is mainly used by yachts and pleasure boats.
