Description
This holiday home impresses with its idyllic location in the dunes with large windows to the west, its character and its atmosphere.
It is located in the midst of an approximately 800 square meters mature garden. You park your car directly on the property.
The 105 square meter, detached house consists of living room and separate dining room, three bedrooms for two persons, bathroom with bath and separate toilet, and a kitchen and kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Living and dining room are with large windows facing west to the evening sun. The living room adjoins a covered porch to the south. You can have breakfast on the east terrace behind the house with a view of the countryside.
The three bedrooms each accommodate two people. One of the rooms has a double bed, the other two have two single beds each. In one bedroom is also a private sink. A baby travel cot is available.
The kitchen has stove / oven, fridge freezer, coffee machine, toaster and microwave.
The house also offers central heating, flat-screen TV (with German channels) and free Wi-Fi.
It is a Non smoking house. Pets are not allowed.
The beach can be reached in less than ten minutes directly from the house via a footpath through the dunes.

Directly on the coast of North Holland, ca 60 km northwest of Amsterdam, between Alkmaar and Den Helder. The house is located in the dunes on the edge of the village Petten on a biotope, not far from the beach.

Cosy and spacious holiday home near the beach

We can highly recommend the holiday home "De Wulp" after our stay there in August 2018. It is cosy, offers plenty of space for six people and the location is decidedly quiet
The house is from the 1950s and since many parts of the furnishings are still intact, you go on a bit of a nostalgic journey back in time. Nevertheless, all the equipment includes modern appliances (TV, Wi-Fi, ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine), so you can enjoy every comfort
The house is extremely cosy and spacious and offers plenty of room for a holiday home. Even six people can enjoy a relaxing holiday, because the many rooms (three bedrooms, a large living room, a dining room, two seating areas outside, one of which is covered) mean that you can also "withdraw" once in a while

The kitchen is very well equipped. We have rarely experienced a holiday home with such generous kitchen equipment.
The house is located in a pleasant and very quiet area
The garden offers plenty of space to sit, lie down or play
From the house you can walk directly to the beach in a few minutes. Directly behind the garden of the house are numerous paths through the dunes for long walks, jogging laps or bicycle tours
The area offers wide, endless sandy beaches, great opportunities for water sports and a huge dune landscape with numerous nature reserves
Furthermore, excursions to nearby cities such as Alkmaar are recommended. Even cities like Haarlem, Amsterdam or Edam can be reached within an hour. The island of Texel can also be easily reached via the ferry port in Den Helder.
The communication with the landlords was exemplary
We can only recommend a holiday in the holiday home "De Wulp".

In one week as refreshed as elsewhere in three weeks.
The view from the large windows in the living and dining room towards the vast Dutch sky is magnificent, especially in the evening hours. We appreciate the fact that there is a separate large dining room next to the spacious living room. We also like the meadow surrounding the bungalow. You will always find a seating area suited to the weather and a spot to relax or play. Unfortunately, we had to return home after just one week. This week, however, was as restful as three weeks. Thank you.

Gemütliches freistehendes Häuschen
We (2 adults + 2 children) have been coming to this little house for years. What we particularly like is that it is detached, with a garden all around, allowing you to walk around the house with the hopefully shining sun, and in the evening you can barbecue on the sheltered terrace in the evening sun. When the sea calls, you can reach the long sandy beach in just a few minutes on foot. If possible, you should bring your bikes to cycle through the dunes or the hinterland a bit. We will come back again this year, and it certainly won't be the last time - we are looking forward to it.
