The house and garden are at your exclusive disposal. The 200-year-old half-timbered house offers space for max. 10 people (5 separate bedrooms, each with shower/WC), a well-equipped kitchen, WLAN, sauna, whirlpool. Foosball. With the large living room, the small fireplace room and the large dining table, the Alte Schneiderei is suitable for spending time together as families, extended families and with friends
The property is beautifully situated, with generous green spaces between a stream and the local mountain. In the garden there are places to sit and play (ping-pong table, swing), a small rock and a hidden staircase on the bank of the stream. Small stock of bicycles for use for a small fee, No bachelor/bachelorette parties or similar.

The holiday home is located in the scenic surroundings of the Saxon Burgenland, near the Zwickauer Mulde river in Döhlen/Rochlitz and is easy to reach via the A72 motorway, Rochlitz exit. Rochlitz is located almost in the middle of the Saxon metropolises of Leipzig, Chemnitz and Dresden, although it is a little further to Dresden (journey time just under an hour) than to Leipzig or Chemnitz. The holiday home is well suited as a location for excursions to explore the major Saxon cities
Shopping facilities are available 2 km away in the town of Rochlitz.
Rochlitz is a very well preserved 1000-year-old town with the imposing Rochlitz Castle, which invites young and old for an adventurous tour. You can cycle along the Mulder cycle path, walk along the Mulde valley and on the nearby Rochlitzer Berg beautiful and varied hiking trails, enjoy views and visit various castles.

Beautiful turn of the year
We wanted to spend the New Year together as a family spread out in all corners of Germany. This great house was perfect for that. We had enough rooms and bathrooms to spread out in and a nice, large common area.
The landlady of the house is a very nice and helpful woman. Thank you very much, dear Mrs Geißler ??. We had a wonderful time in her house.

Really nice house.
Large spacious holiday home. The bathrooms are no longer brand new but there are 4 bedrooms and 5 more. The living room is very large and everything is furnished with wood. There is a playground and a stream in the garden. Our children were outside at every opportunity to play. The forest playground in Rochlitz with the Pory nature trail are really nice for walking. The landlords are very friendly.
A clear recommendation from us :-)

Spacious and comfortable accommodation in Saxon Burgenland
The Alte Scheiderei holiday home is in a very quiet location in the middle of a small village, not far from the small town of Rochlitz. It breathes the breath of the centuries that this historic building, equipped with modern comforts, has already seen. The old building fabric has been lovingly preserved and tastefully furnished in country house style. In the large living room, there is a large dining table (handicraft work well worth seeing) at which all the inhabitants of the house can sit. The kitchen is well equipped and allows you to prepare your own all-round meals. An ideal place for family and friend gatherings. In summer, you can relax wonderfully in the large garden, play table tennis, barbecue or let the children climb on playground equipment. Shopping facilities are available in nearby Rochlitz. Culture enthusiasts can explore the surrounding castles by car or via the Mulder cycle path (highly recommended: Rochlitz Castle, Kriebstein Castle or Colditz Castle). You can satisfy your hunger for exercise with bike tours, hikes or rubber dinghy tours, especially along or on the nearby Zwickauer Mulde. We always enjoy coming here.
