The holiday home is located in a very quiet and idyllic setting. The house has a terrace and a balcony, is 90m2 in size, and offers approx. 70m2 of living space.
On the ground floor are the dining and living area, the kitchen, a utility room, and a guest WC. The couch is extendable and could accommodate 2 additional guests. There is also an air conditioner on the ground floor. In the simply equipped kitchen you will find a stovetop espresso maker and a French press, tea, enough dishes, cutlery, pots, spices, salt, sugar. A dishwasher and a washing machine are also available.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms. Ideally, up to three adults can stay in the house (3 real beds) or a family with two children. In the smaller bedroom there is a single bed. If a second If a child wants to stay overnight, you can pull out an additional mattress from under the bed in this bedroom. The bathroom with bathtub on the upper floor is directly adjacent to the larger bedroom, which has a double bed (180x200m) and a large balcony with a fantastic view of the mountain and the pool. Both bedrooms have new air conditioning units. The air conditioning on the ground floor was also renewed in spring 2023. Fast Wi-Fi is of course also available to you free of charge. Children are warmly welcome! Since we ourselves use this holiday home with our two children, we are happy to provide our guests with children the following items free of charge: travel cot for children (120x60) with a 10 cm high continuous mattress, box of games, high chair for toddlers from 8 months to 4 years, plenty of toys for the beach and pool (a swim ring with an insert for babies), children's dishes and cutlery. For the beach, you will find two comfortable beach chairs in the house, which can also be used as loungers, a sun umbrella with a sand anchor, and various beach games. Please bring your own beach towels.
The terrace gets sun from the afternoon until the evening. Thanks to an awning, you can still sit wonderfully on the terrace with a cool drink while watching the children in the pool ;-). In the pool, swimmers and non-swimmers are separated. The holiday home is part of the small and cozy urbanization La Karina with a total of 23 houses, which are arranged in a winding manner around the lawn and the pool. The urbanization is separated from the street (dead end) by a fence, so children can move around freely here.

Denia is an absolute pearl on the Mediterranean! Approximately 1 century BC This formerly Roman city with its large natural harbor was named for the first time in the 3rd century BC. In the 8th century, the Moors built a beautiful Castillo, which today offers an incomparable view of the entire city and the harbor. In Denia live today about 40000 inhabitants. The natural harbor divides the coast in Denia in a 20km long sandy beach on one side and in many wildly rugged and picturesque bays on the other side. Swimmers and families with toddlers as well as snorkeling and diving fans get their money's worth. The sea shimmers in deep turquoise, blue and green tones. Even in high season you can still find secluded spots on this long stretch of beach. The mountain Montgo (750m) can be climbed in 4-5h ;-). You can walk in the hinterland in the Jalontal in a very picturesque way and after the hike you can taste a glass of wine in the famous Bodega. Who likes swimming and hiking drives on hot days to the Fuentes del Algar. Here you can hike in a huge stream and swim in the natural pools. The water here is cooler than in the sea and therefore very refreshing. Also great to hike on the Isla de la Portichol with great views of the bays of Denia and Javea.
Denia also has a lot to offer in culinary terms. For the small town there are an amazing number of restaurants. Whether in a simple bar with fresh tapas or with aspiring (and thus still affordable) top chefs or in the 3-star restaurant (Quique Dacosta) - the enjoyment is not too short!

If you arrive after 10 pm, please pay a flat rate of 40 Euro to Mr. Schaffer on site. The deposit must be paid in cash upon arrival also to Mr. Schaffer. |

Every Friday, a weekly market takes place at the market hall where fruit and vegetables from the region, including organic quality, are offered. It is well worth enjoying the atmosphere here and stocking up on fresh vitamins at very reasonable prices. In the market hall next door you can find fresh fish from Denia and meat from the region.

Great house in a great location
The house is already great, beautifully furnished with everything you need. But it really shines because of the entire complex. The neighbors are mostly Spanish and very open and friendly. Our son (11) made contact immediately, and for us parents, it is simply wonderful that the enclosed complex offers absolute security. While we could comfortably enjoy the sun on the terrace, we still had the pool in sight at all times. It was also not wrong that the quiet times were observed. This always provided the perfect mix of bustle and tranquility. The landlords are super nice; we knew after the first contact that we were in the right place, and after 2 days in Denia, we decided to book again for next year. We have only booked vacation apartments for years, and this one is by far the best. Thank you very much.

Winter vacation
We had a relaxing vacation in January! The temperatures were around 15 - 18 degrees. The house was well-stocked and clean. You need a car for our needs. Recommended for the summer months. Ideal for a family with two children.
