Description
Completely modernised in 2018, this spacious and tasteful semi-detached house has plenty of space (112 sqm) for discerning guests. The bright and sunny rooms are spread over two floors where each of the three bedrooms has its own modern flat screen TV and two of the TVs have internet access
The bathroom with 2 windows, shower, bathtub and double washbasin is located on the upper floor.
A large living room with an additional sofa bed(2pers.) and a single sofa bed ,a spacious dining area with bay window(8pers.) and a flat screen TV with internet are on the ground floor. There is also an additional guest toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped - cooker with oven, microwave, dishes, glasses, dishwasher and refrigerator with freezer.
From the living room a door leads to the sunny south-facing terrace with garden furniture, charcoal grill and a beautiful view of the garden which is only available for guests. A large gas barbecue can be rented.

Location and surroundings of object
Rade is located on the direct border to Hamburg between Nordheide and Altem Land on the southern city border to Hamburg. It takes about a quarter of an hour to reach Hamburg city centre via the A1 or A7. Rade has its own motorway entrance and exit, making it easy to find, even for those unfamiliar with the area. Rade is 2 km from the A1 and lies on the B3, which runs south to Soltau or north to Stade.
The proximity to the Stuivenwald forest, part of which already belongs to Hamburg, gives the village its rural character.
With the S-Bahn from Neu Wulmstorf you can easily reach the city of Hamburg and you can park your car in the free P+R car park.

From Rade, great day trips can be made to Hamburg, of course, but also to Heide Park Soltau, Vogelpark Walsrode or Hansa Park in Sierksdorf. There are also plenty of open-air swimming pools nearby for the summer (Neu Wulmstorf, Hollenstedt, Sieversen Harburg). It is also worth visiting the Schwarze Berge wildlife park and all the sights that Hamburg has to offer.

Leider enttäuscht
We were so excited about the description on the Internet that we rented this house with 3 couples and dogs.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The house itself is very nice, but unfortunately the description does not match the reality.
The distance to Hamburg City is not 15 minutes but a good 30 minutes by car.
There is plenty of crockery and cutlery available, but accessories like bowls, containers are unfortunately missing. We had to search for brooms or vacuum cleaners and finally found them in the basement. For 6 people, there was only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom; when we asked, we were told we had to buy it ourselves! This should be mentioned! A guest folder with information such as restaurants, bakeries, and shopping options would also be very helpful. The landlord was initially friendly (living next door); upon departure, they did not even take the key from us. The landlord's dog unfortunately has no training and suddenly was in the bedroom!
It is a pity for the otherwise nice house.

In der Beschreibung steht ja auch 25 Minuten bis ins Stadtzentrum von Hamburg . Und wo sollten denn Besen und Staubsauger stehen -im Wohnzimmer ? Und in einer Doppelhaushälfte kann es vorkommen das der Vermieter nebenan wohnt. Und im Ferienhaus musste ich mir mein Haushaltspapier bis jetzt immer mitbringen es ist ja kein Hotel .

A bit remote but...
The flat is a good 30 minutes from the centre of Hamburg. It is very spacious and well maintained. The Wi-Fi could be a little better. The landlord and his wife were both very friendly and open to all questions. If you don't need to be right in the centre, and also feel comfortable in the rural area of Hamburg, I can recommend this accommodation
Another plus point is that pets are welcome. For dog owners it might be important to know that the property is not zoned.

Comfort and amenities almost like at home!
Mr. Burmeister is an experienced, pleasant landlord - very accommodating and always mindful of providing his guests with a pleasant stay. We had a seminar nearby. My colleague and I were allowed to use the semi-detached house for one night. Normally, this semi-detached house is designed for 6 people. Accordingly, it was comfortable for the two of us alone. Parking directly in front of the house. Mrs. Burmeister has designed everything very lovingly and appealing - you feel completely comfortable. Everything you need is available. We can recommend this apartment and this landlord without reservation. EVERYTHING TOP - FULL SCORE!!!
