The property is an authentic "Zomerhuis", as can be found in the holiday regions of South Holland.
The property is located in one of the most beautiful streets of Noordwijk, 310 meters from the beautiful fine sandy beach. From the summer house can be reached within 2-3 minutes walk to the lighthouse or the beach.
The summer house, with its own entrance, is very quiet and can be reached by two small lanes.

Wunderschönes kleines Häuschen
We were completely satisfied with the small but nice summer house :-)
It was clean and well equipped.
The location is perfect, it is a 2-minute walk to the beach.
Our 17-month-old daughter also felt very comfortable.
The landlords are super nice and accommodating.
We would rent the summer house again and again :-)

Always happy to do it

Cosy summer cottage in central location
Actually, nature, culture and relaxation are more important to me on holiday than a rating of the accommodation :-). However, after DM's extremely critical evaluation, I would like to share our experience in this case: The summer cottage of the van Roon family is a typical Dutch holiday home. What is so lovely about these cottages is that they are small but very practical and have their own entrance at the back of the main house. THAT is simply Holland and beautiful.

Our hosts were very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our short holiday in Noordwijk very much and recommend to all interested people to just get involved in the Dutch way of life. Then the summer cottage can only please.

Ein toller Urlaub
Many thanks again to the very friendly and sympathetic landlord family for the great vacation we had with you. The summer house is decorated with great dedication and attention to detail. We also had everything we needed. We felt very comfortable, slept wonderfully, and recovered well. It's great to wake up in the morning and hear the seagulls from the beach/sea, that's "vacation feeling". Noordwijk is very centrally located, we easily reached Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Keukenhof, etc. by car. But of course, you can also explore the area by bike. We are happy to recommend this accommodation.

Short Break
First the positive: Landlord very friendly and helpful. Location is central but when exiting the apartment door, you have to go through a small alley that is not inviting (dirty and dark, no light). As a woman alone, I would be afraid! The apartment is much too small for 4 people! Sleeping is possible if you like a harder surface, but the shower with WC is 1-1/2 square meters, much too small! Sink is 1 flight of stairs higher! Since the pictures of the apartment are well taken (no exterior pictures), it looks very inviting on the internet! The toilet is not sealed, so do not walk barefoot! There is a lack of proper lamps and power outlets everywhere! The blinds cannot be raised, otherwise one looks directly into the house of the landlord and the very unkempt inner courtyard! Therefore, we decided to leave a day early! ! ! ! It's a pity.

vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Es macht deutlich, wie unterschiedlich der Blick der Menschen auf die einzelnen Dinge doch ist. Wenn man das Haar in der Suppe sucht, findet man es bestimmt.
Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn Sie mir sehr erwachsen diese Rückmeldung heute Mittag persönlich gegeben hätten, als ich Sie danach fragte, warum Sie heute schon abreisen. Sie sagten jedoch nur, dass Sie schlecht geschlafen haben und dass das Wetter nicht so gut ist.
Schade ist auch, dass Sie nicht darüber schreiben, wie sauber die Unterkunft ist und das Sie sich über die Karte, die Blumen, den Gutschein und den Wein zu Ihrem Hochzeitstag gefreut haben.
Zu den Details Ihrer Beschwerde:
- Kleine Gasse : wie in der Beschreibung aufgeführt erreicht man das Sommerhaus durch zwei kleine Gassen, die nicht verschmutzt sind. Ja, eine Straßenlaterne gibt es dort nicht, jedoch Licht aus den Häusern drum herum.
- Für 4 Personen viel zu klein: Die Größe der Ferienwohnung ist im Inserat beschrieben, auch die Fotos sind nicht verfälscht. Ja, der Wohnraum ist klein, wie man auf den Fotos sehen kann. Wir hatten bisher schon Gäste, die dort mit 3 Erwachsenen oder Eltern mit Ihren Kindern übernachtet haben; sie waren sehr zufrieden. Vielleicht hängt es aber auch von der Dynamik der Personen untereinander ab, ob man sich mit 4 Personen auf kleinem Raum wohl fühlt.
- harte Matratze: Im Ehebett befindet sich eine 1,40 m Matratze Härtegrad mittel. Das Schlafsofa ist nicht steinhart und auch nicht weich. Wir haben im Urlaub auf dem gleichen Fabrikat sehr bequeme Nächte verbracht.
- Es fehlt an richtigen Lampen und Steckdosen: ´ Es gibt zwei Deckenlampen, einen Strahler über der Küche, eine Stehlampe, eine Nachttischlampe, eine Tafellampe, eine Badezimmerlampe. Wie viele Lampen benötigt man auf 30 m2?
- Undichte Toilette: ja, es tropft sauberes Wasser aus dem Rohr der Toilette, das gleiche saubere Wasser, welches aus der Dusche kommt. Das Rohr wird von unserem Handwerker nächste Woche gekürzt und das Problem behoben.
- Größe der Dusche: ja, wie in der Beschreibung beschrieben handelt es sich um eine im Jahr 2017 neu renovierte Dusche, wo sich auch die Toilette befindet, genauso, wie es in den Niederländischen Urlaubsorten oft anzutreffen ist.
- Der Blick aus dem Sommerhaus: Urlauber, die Holland kennen und lieben, wissen dass sich die „authentischen Sommerhäuser“ hinter dem Wohnhaus der Vermieter befinden. Bisher hat dies keinen unserer Gäste gestört. Wir bezeichnen uns selbst als sehr diskret, leben aber wie jeder Niederländer, nicht hinter geschlossenen Rollos. Und doch ziehen auch wir unsere Vorhänge zu, wenn es dunkel ist. Es ist ausreichend Platz für Privatsphäre.
- Ungepflegter Innenhof: ja, in unserem Innenhof wächst kein englischer Rasen. Dort befinden sich unsere Fahrräder, das Kaminholz und Steine die von unserem Umbau übriggeblieben sind. Vielleicht ist unser Innenhof im Sommer so schön, dass nette Gäste sich dort gern mit einem Glas Wein hinsetzen und noch die abendlichen Sonnenstrahlen genießen; wer weiß?
Wir freuen uns sehr auf Gäste, die Noordwijk genau so lieben wie wir, die den Strand und die Dünen genießen und die gemütliche Stunden in unserer Ferienwohnung verbringen. Die die Sauberkeit und liebevolle Details zu schätzen wissen, die offen und ehrlich mit uns sprechen und die nicht das Haar in der Suppe suchen.
