We really enjoyed our vacation week here. Everything important is already on site, and we could relax immediately. The sauna and the fireplace complete the holiday feeling.

The view of the lake is beautiful, and the walks in the surrounding area are also worth it. The contact with the landlord was uncomplicated, and support is gladly and spontaneously provided. Would love to come back.

Relaxation and tranquility pure.

We would like to give a big thank you to our landlord Mr. Gast and his wife for the very clean and lovingly furnished holiday home. A wonderful house in a very nice, quiet small holiday village with friendly neighbors. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place. Beautiful cycling paths invite you to cycle and the island of Poel, Wismar, Schwerin, and Timmendorfer Strand are definitely worth a visit. In the FH, everything is available that you need for lovely vacation days. From the sofa or the terrace, you can enjoy the wonderful view of the lake or simply jump into the cool water after a sauna session. Fishing, stand-up paddleboarding, rowing, paddling, swimming, walks - everything is possible. Or early in the morning, watch nature wake up with a hot cup of coffee on the bench right by the lake. For fresh bread for breakfast or delicious cakes for the afternoon, you can reach the bakery in three minutes by bike. However, you should have taken a course in unfriendliness before shopping there and leave your nice smile at home, as you will be matched by the ladies behind the counter ;-)
We didn't miss anything, except maybe some sun :-) but we relaxed well in the sauna and snuggled up in front of the fireplace. All in all, it was two wonderful weeks of vacation with our unconditional recommendation.

Great house right by the lake.

We (2 adults + 1 teenager) stayed at the great house directly on the lake at the end of August, beginning of September. Despite being 65 sqm, the house feels spacious. It is lovingly and cozily furnished, but not overloaded. A clean and well-maintained home, you feel like you're at home. The kitchen is excellently equipped. Large coffee machine, toaster, 3 (new) pans, several pots (including a spaghetti pot), plastic containers in different sizes, knife block, wooden cutting boards, sufficient cutlery, dishes, and glasses. Such an extensive equipment is not often found in holiday homes. The closets in the bedrooms provide ample storage space. There are more pillows and duvets than beds, so there is something for everyone. Fly screens and light-permeable privacy screens are installed on the windows. The bathroom is clean and offers enough space. Tip: by using clothespins to close the shower curtains, we had no floods. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the sauna due to the great weather.
The covered terrace invites you to sit outside, no matter the weather. From there, you have a beautiful view of the lake. It's only 25 meters to swim and a rowing boat is also available. It is possible to soak up the sun all day, as there are various seating areas around the house.
A parking space is available directly on the property next to the house.
The holiday home is an ideal base for various excursions in the area.

Mr. Gast is a very nice, helpful, and uncomplicated landlord.

Not to forget the Wi-Fi: it worked day and night, even on the terrace. We spent 2 wonderful, great, relaxing weeks and can definitely recommend this holiday house with a clear conscience! ! !

Beautiful holiday home by the lake!

It was a great family holiday. Great swimming and fishing lake right outside the door. What more could you want? The house has everything you need. The landlord, Mr. Gast, is super friendly. We will definitely come back next year.

Beautiful location, but with some BUTs.

We (4 adults) spent 14 days at Lake Dümmer and, of course, I tried to gather as much information as possible beforehand! That's why the detailed review! Just to say, we had a "good time" mainly because the weather was perfect! The holiday home is located in the "holiday village" in the front row by the lake, but with a public meadow in front, which may or may not be to your liking. Public beach is 70m away and popular :-)! We knew it and it was no problem for us! Everything is available in the holiday home even if the bed pillows are not in good condition (I always bring my own). My motto is always "would I want this for myself in the same way?" Unfortunately, you often find in holiday homes that "well, this will do for the holiday home!" I would definitely make improvements. Make improvements in the area of the patio door threshold because it is really not "comfortable" (missing the famous 5cm forward and you often go in and out), furthermore, the rowboat is next to the house and must be "always" pulled down to the lake (actually not feasible alone, especially the way back up to the house)! Every "guest" will wonder and answer why it is not at the jetty! So, at least we did not use it! The 2 sunbeds are actually in need of renewal like the cushions, and why only 2 when the house is intended for 4 people :-)? Looking at the photo, I had already wondered how the bathroom works, and the answer is clear "only with a rubber lip brush" and lots of towels :-)! Visually, however, it's of course top-notch! There was a washing machine in the bathroom, but it was/ is broken and was not included in the offer! My motto: "either fix it or replace it"! The sunshade was offered, but wasn't there, and from 4 p.m. the sun shines in at a 100% angle! The dishwasher is a narrow one (noises suggest end of life) and always runs with 4 people! BUT OTHERWISE, everything was OK (laughs)!

One of the most beautiful vacation homes we have ever had.

I don't even know where to start. The house, the spacious property with a wonderful view of the lake, friendly hosts, the peace... In any case, we recovered very well and will definitely come back at some point!

Guesthouse No.6

Top-maintained holiday home right by the lake. Mr. Gast is a super nice landlord who takes care of all the tenant's needs. For that even 10 stars! ! ! ! The house corresponds in all respects to the description! ! ! BUT: Describing the entire complex as the Dümmer See holiday park is falsely labeled! The area consists of approximately 100 small houses (allotment garden character) which are used exclusively by the owners as weekend or permanent residences to 85 percent. The vacation guest is not welcome there! We overheard conversations where it was said: The vacation guests are always spreading out here. WE WANT TO STAY AMONG OURSELVES! We have never seen so many "No Trespassing" signs or "Private" signs in a holiday area as in this so-called "holiday park."

Great holiday home right on the lake

The description was 100% accurate. The holiday home is beautifully located, clean, and has all the equipment you need. The view of the lake is so relaxing and idyllic that you immediately feel at peace. Even though it is located in a holiday park, it is wonderfully quiet there. This holiday home made it onto our list of rented holiday homes. This means: gladly again! Mr. Gast is a nice, helpful landlord.

Beautiful house by the lake

The location and the view are truly fantastic. The property is quiet and well-maintained. The house was very clean and larger than expected. It offers everything you need. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our time very much. Unfortunately, the vacation went by too quickly. Mr. Guest is a very friendly landlord.

Gladly again

The house has everything you need for 4 people, a bit small. Unfortunately, the mattress was too soft for my husband. The location is great, you have a nice view of the lake from the house. After sauna, you can jump right into the lake. Mr. Gast is a nice landlord. We would love to come back sometime.

Relaxation and calm

We were surprised with a tastefully furnished holiday home. It has everything you could wish for in a holiday stay. On the terrace, you have a beautiful view over the lake. The meadow in front of it is perfect for playing badminton or other activities. Our host was also very nice. All in all, you can recommend this holiday home without hesitation for a few quiet days of relaxation. We would gladly come back, maybe even in winter.

Very nice holiday home directly on the lake

We spent 12 days in holiday home no. 6 in the holiday village at Lake Dümmer. The house is very nicely furnished and there is everything you need for a relaxing holiday. From the terrace you have a direct view of the lake. Fishing is possible from the jetty as well as from the boat. The boat is with the house and was therefore available to us at all times. The bathing area is also only a few metres away from the house. Excursions to the Baltic Sea to Boltenhagen, to the island of Poel or to Wismar are possible within an hour's drive. We liked it very much and spent a relaxing holiday there. The landlord looks after the holiday guests very nicely and is immediately available to answer any questions. Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday with you!
