Old fishing village on the edge of Jasmund National Park, which has experienced a construction boom in recent years, but has still managed to retain its original charm. The tourist infrastructure is now excellent. Highlights, in addition to the fine sandy beach that begins here and stretches for 12 km, are the modern promenade, the spa square, the harbor, and the wide range of restaurants. The surrounding nature is also varied and perfectly suited for various outdoor activities. There is little "hustle and bustle" here, but plenty of peace and variety for the whole family.
