Podere Pozzuolo is located on the east-west axis Siena (60 km), Follonica on the sea (32 km) in the height of the island of Elba. The apartment is located in a hilly and wooded, quiet natural oasis, a retreat without much tourism.
You can discover hiking, horse riding or cycling in a unique natural environment and romantic and picturesque mountain villages, art treasures and archaeological excavations (Etruscan) in day trips.
Depending on the season, plenty of photo opportunities are available, from pink flamingos, gray and heron to bizarre rock and coastal formations, cypress avenues and vineyards, and small wild orchids in spring.
Buy natural products directly from farmers, such as aromatic honey, olive oil and wine. Bathing in the creek with a waterfall (10 km) or in the sea with beautiful long sandy beaches and pine groves.
The bar 'Il Gabellino' as well as pizzeria and trattoria can also be reached on foot (2 km).
Boccheggiano, with fresh food and a bakery, is 5 km away.
We offer red and white wine from the region, if enough available vegetables from our own organic garden.
The fresh aromatic garden herbs you are welcome to make yourself.

Podere Pozzuolo
We particularly liked the fragrant garden! The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
The beautiful slate country house is located in the mountains in a quiet setting. A good starting point for explorations at the beach and the towns around.
I would book again.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time, and felt very, very comfortable with (and with) Ralf and Marita from the very first moment! We were looking for a rustic, nature-oriented, and quiet accommodation, which we found 100 percent. (This also included the wild boars ?) The location, which was already fixed for us in advance, was perfect. Everything (sea, restaurants, culture, lake, ...) was easily accessible. The apartment was very clean and especially the outdoor area was very lovingly and well maintained. A special place with a noticeably good energy! Surely we will come back. . . . .

A beautiful, relaxed time
If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the perfect place.
The holiday home is functionally equipped, everything you need is there. There is no frills, luckily.
The somewhat secluded location, the beautiful landscape, and the very nice landlords are a guarantee for relaxing days.
In just over half an hour, you can reach the beautiful sandy beaches and admire the cultural highlights of Siena in less than an hour.
Nature lovers will get their money's worth on excursions in the surrounding area.
I spent two months there with my dog and enjoyed every day. Especially outside the classic vacation times, you can experience the countryside and its people in Tuscany particularly authentically.

Very nice contact
We were really looking forward to our holiday but unfortunately had to cancel at short notice due to personal challenges. Despite the short notice cancellation, the contact was very pleasant and friendly throughout. It is a pity that we could not start the holiday as planned.

Das schöne slte Landhau liegt in den Bergen in ruhiger Umgebung. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen am Strand und den Städten ringsherum.
Ich würde wieder buchen.
Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und vor allem auch der Außenbereich sehr liebevoll und gepflegt.
Ein besonderer Platz mit einer spürbar guten Energie! Sicherlich werden wir wieder kommen.....

Bei Ausflügen in der näheren Umgebung kommen Naturliebhaber voll auf ihre Kosten.
ich habe gemeinsam mit meinem Hund zwei Monate dort verbracht und habe jeden Tag genossen. Gerade außerhalb der klassischen Urlaubszeiten lassen sich Land und Leute in der Toskana besonders authentisch erleben.

In absoluter Stille gelegen und mit einer unglaublich netten Gastfreunschaft begleitet, ist dies der einzig richtige Platz , um zur Ruhe zu kommen und zu entspannen. Will man trotzdem etwas erleben, so bekommt man reichlich Tipps vom Gastgeber.
Im nahe gelegenen Bocchegiano ist ein kleiner Bäcker, sowie ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen für alles, was man so vergessen hat mitzunehmen und noch dringend braucht.. Ansonsten gibt es in Follonica Coop und Lidl, um restliche Wünsche zu erfüllen.
Siena, San Giminiano, Volterra und last but noch least das traumhafte Meer mit Hundestrand, an dem es sich Mensch und Hund gut gehen lassen können.
Die Ferienwohnung ist einfach aber mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet.
Wlan gibt es leider nicht in der Ferienwohnung ,nur außerhalb im Garten an der Wohnung des Gastgebers. Da das Wetter teilweise nicht so gut war, war der Aufenthalt im Garten nicht so oft möglich und somit hatten wir kein Wlan.
Naturstein, Holzdecke und große Räume geben der Wohnung die besondere Atmosphäre und wenn es draußen heiß ist, ist es herrlich kühl.
Regnet es, werden die Räume schnell feucht und man kommt ins frieren, aber der angefachte Holzofen (Holz gibt es reichlich !! ) schafft eine heimelige Stimmung und sorgt für die Wärme.
In der Küche gibt es kein fließend warmes Wasser, doch schnell Wasser auf dem Gasherd aufgekocht, schafft Abhilfe.
Hier macht man Urlaub der besonderen Art, ursprünglich, naturnah, von den Gastgebern herzlichst betreut( wir wurden mit einem Grillabend, selbstgekochter Konfitüre und einer Flasche Wein begrüßt !!!), mit absoluter Freiheit für die Hunde.
Intensiver kann man die Toskana kaum erleben.
WIR kommen wieder !!!
