Description
The detached house built in 1983 was converted by us into a holiday home with a partially open floor plan and furnished individually and modernly for our guests. 3 floors can now accommodate up to 9 people. Open spaces for togetherness, views into the garden with its moods of the seasons and times of day as well as retreat areas are equally available. In good weather, the living area finds numerous extension possibilities on the two terraces and the large seating area by the house in the garden. 2 bedrooms for two people each make the stay comfortable. If more guests are coming, the two large bedsits on the ground floor and attic can be used, providing 2 and 3 more overnight places respectively. 2 bathrooms - one with shower, the other with bathtub and a modern and comprehensively equipped kitchen complete the room offer. The meeting point in the house is the dining room with two large glass doors to the garden, which offers all guests space for cosy get-togethers at its oval table. A liquid fuel fireplace (fuel free of charge from us for you) and a WLAN connection complete the feeling of having arrived. There is a TV on each floor (2 x with DVD playback) and radios and CD players in various rooms. The two bedrooms are equipped with blackout blinds.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in the west of the city of Dresden in a street mainly built with single-family houses. The motorway exit (A4) Dresden-Altstadt is only a few minutes away. For city visits, you can safely leave the car on the entrance path in the property (space for 3 cars in a row), because you only walk a maximum of 5 minutes to the terminus of two tram lines, both of which go to the city centre, and about 2 minutes to a bus stop. It is 12 km by taxi to Dresden Airport.
Shopping facilities, a pharmacy and various inns are within walking distance - we inform you about them in a folder that you will find on the large dining table in the dining room.

We will be back!
Our family of four adults and one toddler had a great time in the wonderful, clean and spacious house.
The combination of timeless furnishings, contemporary comfort and a flair for detail made for a very enjoyable stay.
Dresden is always worth a visit and when the weather is not so cooperative, the house is the perfect retreat.

Simply great
We came together in this house for a family reunion. It was simply a successful affair. The house was top. Spacious, individual and equipped with lots of space. Great design and extremely lovingly decorated for Easter.
The kitchen is large and wonderfully equipped, many different kitchen utensils were available and nothing was missing. We had plenty of space to cook together. We could enjoy at the large table in the dining room, which was also wonderful for a game night. The spacious living room was also very inviting and cosy. The beds in the bedrooms were very comfortable. The location was great, the tram stop Leutewitz was within walking distance so we could leave the car for our city explorations. We would come back again and again. Thank you to the friendly landlords.

Super location
We were 6 adults and all very very satisfied with this property. The location is ideal, shopping facilities within walking distance, also close to the centre, very quiet location, suitable for relaxing. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired. There are several ways to get into the house, so you don't always have to go round the house. We will definitely be back.

A wonderful short break in a great house
We spent three wonderful days in this beautiful, extraordinary house. We lacked nothing; everything was super clean and cozy! The house has everything your heart desires. The house is located a bit outside the center - but with the connection to the tram, which is only a few hundred meters away, you are in the city center in no time. A small supermarket with a bakery is about 500m away. Our children were thrilled with the many toys that were waiting for them... and on the great property, they could play, play, play. The setup of the beautiful kitchen was perfect. We felt very comfortable and can recommend the holiday home to everyone.

In "real life" we are qualified restorers of paintings and polychromed wood sculpture. However, we are not only interested in old things but also in modern architecture. As we as a family also like to travel and stay in holiday homes, we are always happy to find good and modern furnishings and architecturally appealing rooms. This is what we are now trying to offer our guests in Dresden with our parents' house, which has been converted into a holiday home: a place to relax during a city holiday - the basis for eventful days when you "come home" in the evening!
