Neue Tiefe on Fehmarn is a small, tranquil village between Burg and the Burgtiefe peninsula, which is also called Burger Südstrand on Fehmarn. The decisive factor is the receipt of the written notice of withdrawal by the guest center. In the event of withdrawal, the following fees apply: up to 45 days before the agreed arrival date, 15% of the rental price (but at least €25); from 44 to 30 days before the agreed arrival date, 25% of the rental price; from 29 to 22 days before the agreed arrival date, 50% of the rental price; from 21 days before the agreed arrival date, 80% of the rental price; and on the day of arrival, 100% of the rental price. In the case of non-arrival without a notice of withdrawal, 100% of the rental price is also payable. In the case of early departure, the full booking amount must be paid. Fehmarn does it differently
We (2 adults, 2 children) had the pleasure of spending our holidays on Fehmarn this year. We are visiting this beautiful island for the third time and are always thrilled. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about our accommodation.
Positive: The accommodation is spacious and in a great location. When we reported several things to the management, they only took care of one thing. We received a voucher as compensation but still wanted to leave a review. And here we come to the not so pleasant part. Upon our arrival, we quickly noticed that cleanliness was not a priority. All corners and edges were dirty, on the floor under the cobwebs were traces of insects which, in my opinion, had accumulated over a few weeks. All mattresses with mattress protectors (on both sides) were dirty and hairy. Kitchen: Equipment with dishes, cutlery, and everything that goes with it is abundantly available. Unfortunately, a defective coffee machine and a quite dirty oven must also be mentioned.
Exterior walls in the basement and on the ceiling in the bathroom had clear mold infestation, which was simply superficially painted over several times with wall paint.
The description states, "On the southwest terrace, one is completely undisturbed and can let their gaze wander into the distance." One can of course claim that if one is not bothered by the small footpath, which is well frequented.

Leider können wir nicht das selber über unsere Unterkunft berichten.
Positiv: Die Unterkunft ist Groß und befindet sich in einer super Lage. Als wir bei der Verwaltung mehrere Sachen gemeldet haben, kamen Sie nur einer Sache nach. Wir erhielten einen Gutschein als Entschädigung, wollten aber dennoch eine Bewertung abgeben. Und hier kommen wir schon zu denn nicht so schönen Teil. Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir ziemlich schnell festgestellt das mit der Sauberkeit nicht so streng gesehen wird. Alle Ecken und Kanten waren verdreckt, auf dem Boden unter den Spinnennetz Spuren von Insekten, die meiner Meinung nach, sich über einige Wochen gesammelt haben. Alle Matratzen mit Matratzenschoner (beidseitig) schmutzig und behaart gewesen.
Küche: Ausstattung an Geschirr, Besteckt und alles was dazu gehört reichlich vorhanden. Leider defekte Kaffeemaschine und ziemlich dreckiger Backofen müssen wir auch erwähnen.
Außenwände im Untergeschoß und an der Decke im Bad hatten deutlichen Schimmelbefahl, der einfach mit Wandfarbe oberflächlich mehrfach übergepinselt wurde.
In der Beschreibung heißt es „Auf der Südwest-Terrasse ist man ganz ungestört und kann seinen Blick in die Ferne schweifen lassen.“ Kann man natürlich so behaupten, wenn man sich nicht von dem kleinen Fußweg stören lässt, der gut frequentiert ist.
