On the south-west terrace you are completely undisturbed and can let your gaze wander into the distance. A special experience is to watch the sun setting as a red fireball behind the Fehmarnsund Bridge in the evening from the terrace.

Neue Tiefe on Fehmarn is a small, tranquil village between Burg and the Burgtiefe peninsula, which is also called Burger Südstrand on Fehmarn. There are no special tourist attractions in Neue Tiefe, but its central location makes it easy to reach the southern beach with its spa promenade and spa facilities, such as the seawater wave pool. Burg, the island's metropolis, can also be easily reached via a well-developed cycle and pedestrian path. A walk directly along the water will take you to the fishing and adventure harbour in Burgstaaken on Fehmarn.

Fehmarn does it differently
We (2 adults, 2 children) had the pleasure of spending our holidays on Fehmarn this year. We are visiting this beautiful island for the third time and are always thrilled. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about our accommodation.
Positive: The accommodation is spacious and in a great location. When we reported several things to the management, they only took care of one thing. We received a voucher as compensation but still wanted to leave a review. And here we come to the not so pleasant part. Upon our arrival, we quickly noticed that cleanliness was not a priority. All corners and edges were dirty, on the floor under the cobwebs were traces of insects which, in my opinion, had accumulated over a few weeks. All mattresses with mattress protectors (on both sides) were dirty and hairy. Kitchen: Equipment with dishes, cutlery, and everything that goes with it is abundantly available. Unfortunately, a defective coffee machine and a quite dirty oven must also be mentioned.
Exterior walls in the basement and on the ceiling in the bathroom had clear mold infestation, which was simply superficially painted over several times with wall paint.
The description states, "On the southwest terrace, one is completely undisturbed and can let their gaze wander into the distance." One can of course claim that if one is not bothered by the small footpath, which is well frequented.
