Description

The holiday home with its four holiday flats is located in a dead-end street in Lemkenhafen. Your holiday flat is on the upper floor and offers you the peace and quiet you need for a perfect holiday.

Take your time and settle down on the covered balcony, which you can reach from the living room. With a bit of luck, you will be able to hear the sound of the Baltic Sea waves. The further layout, a bedroom with double bed, a modern kitchenette and a shower room/WC offers enough space for two, but also for four people. The couch in the living room can be converted into a comfortable bed.

Children can safely go 'fishing' with a landing net in hand at the Baltic Sea, which is in the immediate vicinity, as it is hardly more than knee-deep here.

Lemkenhafen on Fehmarn with its pretty marina is located directly on the Baltic Sea. At the harbour you will find a cosy place that invites you to linger. From the benches at the harbour you have an unmistakable view of the sailing and motor boats. The dike from Lemkenhafen to Orth is a great place to take a walk along the Baltic Sea.

Lovers of water sports, such as surfing or sailing, like to rent a holiday flat in Lemkenhafen. But those seeking peace and quiet will also be delighted. Chic and quaint restaurants offer an excellent selection of dishes, especially for the fish lovers among you. A fish smokehouse with exquisite specialities offers a special insight into the art of smoking. When you return to your holiday flat, simply take a smoked eel with you.

If you have rented a holiday home and you are interested in old mills, this is the right place for you. The sailing windmill "Jachen Flünk" (plattdt. hunting/rushing wing) in Lemkenhafen was built in 1787 by the grain merchant and ship owner Joachim Rahlff. In the so-called Schillingsmöhl, barley and wheat were ground into groats and pearl barley. Around 1900, 5 to 6 journeymen were employed in the mill, as well as other unskilled workers. The mill, which was shut down in 1954, then became the property of the Association for the Collection of Fehmarn Antiquities. Take a walk through the village from your holiday home and visit the mill museum.
