Description

The Franzosenstüberl (French Cottage) is more than 200 years old, a monument-protected grain box (Troadkasten), made in traditional timber construction method. It was restored perfectly, and is habitable as holiday house for 2 - 4 persons (on two floors + Veranda). It inspires visitors and guests by its history and originality. Beside the original facade with genuine old windows and doors you find an original sleeping chamber in the upper floor with TV, sanitary and kitchen in the ground floor, including Internet. The Franzosenstüberl receives its special attraction by its delightful ambiente and the intimate rural atmosphere, and particularly by the unique offer to use the Kartause for vacation purposes and for stretching. You can rent it daily and weekly. Note: If you like to come with 6 to 16 persons, better book the Napoleonvilla!

The exposed situation of the "Franzosenstüberl" on the sunny terrace of the Katschtal with a magnificiant view on the Katschtal and Poellatal and the close Tauern mountains inspire just like the varied leisure offer of the region: Ski total (16 lift systems), ice and winter sports from December to April, hiking, climbing and adventure from May to November. Fantastic in the summer: Mountain tours in the protected area Poellatal - Katschberg - kilometers alone with mountain and sky. Rennweg is situated near the magnificant skiing area of Katschberg 1100 m above sea level. It is the starting point for skiing and mountain tours into the protected area Poellatal and into the "Hohe Tauern". The Katschbergregion has all sport offers, purchase possibilities and ranks among the best known winter sports areas in Carinthia (1600-2200 m). In addition you have possibilities for fishing, hunting, climbing and mountainbiking in summer.

The Franzosenstüberl is rented at a price from 40 euros per person per day, children up to 14 pay half. In winter and summer the basic price is 50 Euro, over the turn of the year 70 Euro. For short stays 10 Euro per day are added, breakfast is also bookable for an extra charge of 10 Euro

Cancellation terms:

Free cancellation possible up to 30 days before the arrival date.

No cancellation fees. Deposits will be credited for future stays.

The Franzosenstüberl is a historical jewel from the 18. Century, monument- protected, freshly restored, exclusively for guests and visitors, who look for the special.
