Description

In a quiet residential area, the old house is located on a dead end, framed with views hedges.
The pillared wooden front door leads into the southern gravel garden with olive trees, oleander, white roses, lavender and agapanthus.

In front of the kitchen entrance, a dining area around an old well was designed.
Laterally you can drive through a portal on the property, there are also the bikes ready.
From here you enter the house through the utility room with washer and dryer and a small wardrobe.
Continue to the kitchen, which has been individually designed with its old wooden doors and granite work surfaces. The centerpiece is the Lacanche stove, a professional gas stove with 5 gas burners, a teppani plate, 2 ovens and a warming cabinet. Here are all the necessary equipment for preparing the treasures of the surrounding markets.
The kitchen is also equipped with a fully automatic coffee machine, various small electrical appliances, a dishwasher and a fridge-freezer.
There are many wine glasses on the shelves ...
A double-winged door opens to the large dining area with a raw oak table which stands in exciting contrast to the modern-classic comfortable chairs.
The entire living area of the ground floor is equipped with solid dark oak planks, the ceiling of the ceiling kept bright, the walls painted in warm tones.
The living area is adorned with a patinated wood fireplace fueled by bioethanol.
In cozy seating you can enjoy the excellent sound of the high-quality Hifiboxen, which are controlled by a normal stereo system and the latest WIFI technology.
Another double-leaf wooden door leads to the bedroom 1 with a comfortable bed 160 x 200 with a view of the built-in wardrobe, which conceals the large TV (4K, UHD, SAT).
From here, too, through glass doors opens up the garden with pebble terraces lawns and the so typical hydrangeas. There are also 6 comfortable sun loungers, 4 bicycles, boule balls, table tennis and toys.
In the bathroom, the washbasin system and the granite walk-in shower were made. The toilet is discreetly arranged in a niche and the designer bath is free in front of the window.
Soft towels and bath rugs provide comfort.
For floors of kitchen and bathroom, Belgian bluestone was used in square tiles.
Next to the door to the bathroom, an old sand-blasted oak staircase leads to the upper floor.
On one side you go through a dressing room with fitted wardrobes and a glass studio wall and a bay window to the bedroom 2 with a double bed 160 x 200. If necessary, a baby bed and changing table can be set up.
The gable window reveals the view of a venerable walnut tree.
In the middle of the upper floor is a toilet with vanity.
The antique doors are glazed like the glass window system to the dressing room in gray color, the floor covered with warm natural wooden floorboards.
The bedroom 3 with its 180 x 200 bed and a bay window has natural colored beams and a skylight window. We prefer to use washed linen as bedding which gives the room a stylish look.
All beds are equipped with good Breton mattresses, all windows with custom blackout panels.
All rooms can be heated electrically.

At its best

We stayed in this beautiful house for the second time. And again we liked it very, very much. The weather was also very kind to us. Everything was perfectly prepared. We felt at home and will come again. For sure.
For hikers there is the GR35 - or a piece of it. Even if the weather is not so good, you can use the many hiking trails (the tourist office in Fouesnant has a great folder with small and large hiking tours - unfortunately for a fee - but worthwhile). When the weather is good, everyone can find a little beach for themselves. You can cycle directly from the house to the Plage de Kerambigorn. Or to the many other beautiful beaches within a radius of max. 20 minutes by car. In the surrounding area there are many supermarkets, an organic market, fish market, vegetable/fruit market. There is really something for everyone. You can find everything to prepare in the fully equipped kitchen (also suitable for gourmet dishes). If you prefer to eat out, there are many options in Beg-Meil, Cap Coz and Fouesnant (for small or large budgets).
There is one point of criticism: the internet is pretty slow (5 MBit/s). For many, that will be enough, but if you do a video chat now and then, the bandwidth is not enough.

Fantastic holiday home in a great environment.

We were absolutely thrilled with this holiday home: perfect equipment with everything you need, a fantastic kitchen for preparing the culinary treasures of the area and a very tasteful interior of the house! The area allows for a varied vacation program: great beaches, beautiful hiking routes, inviting places and cities - or simply the magnificent garden of the house!

We liked the house and the area so much that we immediately booked our next vacation there!
