Small... but pretty... In the residential and vacation area of Balatonmáriafürdő, in a quiet environment, there is this pleasant wooden house for 4 people in a pleasant atmosphere. The word - wooden house - can be considered as a variety of buildings, from a small forest cottage to a hillside holiday home, but it also offers a place by the shore of Lake Balaton, offering a nature-close experience for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The fascination of natural and sophisticated materials is in every small detail of the house. There are no overcrowded places, but everything works. The two bedrooms upstairs give it a real cozy corner character. A large grassy courtyard and one of the covered and open terraces provide a pleasant ambiance to have breakfast outdoors or even enjoy a tasty barbecue dinner. Friendly decor. The vacation home is suitable for individuals with limited mobility. There is a sturdy ramp from the outside terrace, and the ground floor is also suitable for transporting and sleeping (there is a pull-out sofa in the living room).
The house has air conditioning and free use of 2 bicycles for adults. Wi-Fi is available. Holiday homes are not required to be equipped with fire extinguishers; it is up to the owner, and due to the nature of the wood, a device has been placed here that can give guests a sense of security. Safe parking is possible in the courtyard. Balatonmáriafürdő is located on the south side of Lake Balaton, where the water is shallower, making it an ideal choice for families with small children.

For those seeking relaxation, pedal boats can be hired throughout the season. The little ones can let off steam in the playground designed for them. The footpath along the nearby Molo also offers opportunities for leisurely walks and fishing. At the end of the promenade, there is a breathtaking view of the Hungarian sea at any time of the year.

Small but very cosy
I felt very comfortable in this holiday home for about 2 weeks. The house is not big, but it has everything you need. It is not far to the harbour, which is always worth a look, and an ice cream parlour with delicious ice cream is on the way. Shopping facilities are within walking or cycling distance. The quiet location is very advantageous (no through road, railway line is shielded from other houses). Nice neighbours.

Everything great
We were travelling as a couple and for us it was more than adequate and we were very satisfied. Central location, quiet. Great restaurants and people. Friendly service provider. However, as I have a brother in a wheelchair myself, from my point of view not suitable...There is a ramp into the house but that's about it. You would not even reach the kitchen or the bathroom with a wheelchair. In the bathroom there is no possibility for a person in need of care to stay away or to shower with assistance. Difficult, therefore, to say that it is suitable for wheelchairs. Otherwise everything is great
