Small...but pretty... In the residential and holiday area of Balatonmáriafürdő, in a quiet environment, you will find this pleasant wooden house for 4 persons in a pleasant atmosphere. The word - wooden house - can be considered a variety of buildings, from a small forest cottage to a holiday home on the hillside, but it also offers a place on the shore of Lake Balaton to provide a nature experience for someone escaping the hustle and bustle of the city. The fascination of natural and refined materials is in every little detail of the house. There are no crowded places, but everything works. The two bedrooms upstairs give it a real little nook character. A large grassy courtyard and one of the covered and open terraces offer a pleasant ambience to have breakfast outside or even enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner. Friendly interior.
The cottage is suitable for people with limited mobility. There is a stable driveway from the outdoor terrace and the ground floor is also suitable for transport and sleeping (there is a pull-out sofa in the living room).
The house has air conditioning and the free use of 2 bicycles for adults. The cottages do not need to be equipped with fire extinguishers, it is the owner's responsibility and due to the nature of the wood, a device has been placed here to make guests feel safe. Safe parking is possible in the yard. Balatonmáriafürdő is located on the south side of Lake Balaton, where the water is shallower, making it an ideal choice for families with small children.
The popular boat station - beach is located near the house. With its gradually deepening water and spacious green areas, it has become especially popular with families. Children can swim safely in the shallow water. The many trees in the beach area provide shady spots for everyone to find a hiding place when the sun is scorching, but then of course there is plenty of room for sunbathing. For those seeking relaxation, pedal boats can be hired throughout the season. The little ones can let off steam in the playground designed for them. The footpath along the nearby Molo also offers opportunities for leisurely walks and fishing. At the end of the promenade, there is a breathtaking view of the Hungarian sea at any time of the year.

Small but very cosy
I felt very comfortable in this holiday home for about 2 weeks. The house is not big, but it has everything you need. It is not far to the harbour, which is always worth a look, and an ice cream parlour with delicious ice cream is on the way. Shopping facilities are within walking or cycling distance. The quiet location is very advantageous (no through road, railway line is shielded from other houses). Nice neighbours.

Everything great
We were travelling as a couple and for us it was more than adequate and we were very satisfied. Central location, quiet. Great restaurants and people. Friendly service provider. However, as I have a brother in a wheelchair myself, from my point of view not suitable...There is a ramp into the house but that's about it. You would not even reach the kitchen or the bathroom with a wheelchair. In the bathroom there is no possibility for a person in need of care to stay away or to shower with assistance. Difficult, therefore, to say that it is suitable for wheelchairs. Otherwise everything is great
