An exclusively equipped holiday home for 6-8 people with kitchen for self-catering. The holiday home is located on the edge of the Biosphaere Reserve Vessertal and is perfectly suitable for your holiday needs all year round for all seasons
When the weather is nice, you can relax on the terrace and balcony with garden furniture and barbecue. The house is situated directly on the edge of the forest, in front of a natural lake. Apart from birdcalls and rutting calls of red deer, you will be greeted by a lot of peace and quiet. For all those who are stressed by everyday life, we have a sauna.
The house is non-smoking. For smokers we have a smoking area outside.

Rest and relaxation
We (3 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs) spent a week here and it was simply great. The house itself has everything you need, and what wasn't there, you don't need either. The house is quietly located, but not too far from the village. Right in front of the door, there are hiking trails where you occasionally meet locals and hikers. This quickly leads to a conversation and insider tips are exchanged. The open atmosphere makes you feel included. A big thank you to our landlords, the Liebkopf family. They welcomed us with open arms.
They really have a little piece of paradise there, and we are grateful that we could be guests in this house. We would have liked to stay longer.
We are already looking forward to seeing you again.

Forest, water, and hiking
Although the pond is not designated as a swimming pond, one can swim well in it. Provided one is not bothered by fish and algae. Inside the house, it is cool despite the heat. (This is probably also due to the water). The furnishings correspond to the price-performance ratio. Everything is very clean and without defects. Very quiet, almost secluded location. Hiking trail right in front of the entrance gate. I even charged my electric car, and anyone who brings a mobile router also has Wi-Fi. :-)

A true feel-good paradise
If you are looking for a place of tranquility, a spot to relax and unwind, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, constant phone ringing, and perpetual, forced digital availability without having to forgo a fresh shower or a fully equipped kitchen and your "own four walls," then you are exactly at the right address here.
A property with a lake, a small house surrounded by forest, hiking trails, and (if you look closely) also plenty of animals. For our family, this is, at least for a few days a year, the experience of absolute living dreams, and that is exactly why we can happily and confidently say, we are very happy to come back.
Not only that, the house itself offers everything needed for everyday life, but everything around it also brought us (now for the 2nd time) great joy.
Mr. Liebkopf is an extremely pleasant, friendly, and truly helpful host. Well cared for without being unpleasantly intrusive, one truly feels like a welcomed and well-looked-after guest here.
Also, or rather the fact that there is no internet on site suits us personally very well; if necessary, one only needs to take a few steps and is back to full reception. With a view of the lake, the morning coffee tastes much better, and with fresh eggs from the region and homemade rolls from the baker in the village, breakfast can also be enjoyed outside in the fresh air.
To avoid sinking into a lengthy hymn of praise, I would like to conclude by mentioning that a visit to the Schleusingen Museum is definitely worth it. And if you make a quick stop at Lidl on the way back, you can perfectly end the day with a cozy barbecue evening. ?

Das Haus ist ist ruhig gelegen, aber doch nicht zu weit vom Ort entfernt. Direkt vor der Haustüre gibt es Wanderwege, auf denen man auch hin und wieder auf Einheimische und Wanderer trifft. Da ergibt sich auch schnell mal ein Gespräch und Geheimtipps werden ausgetauscht. Durch die offene Art fühlt man sich dazugehörig.
Ein großes Dankeschön an unsere Vermieter, Familie Liebkopf. Sie haben uns mit offenen Armen empfangen.
Sie haben da wirklich ein kleines Stück Paradies und wir sind dankbar das wir Gäste in diesem Häuschen sein durften. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben.
Wir freuen uns schon auf ein Wiedersehen.

Vorausgesetzt, man stört sich nicht an Fischen und Algen.
Im Haus ist es trotz Hitze kühl.( liegt wohl auch am Wasser). Die Einrichtung entspricht dem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Alles sehr sauber und ohne Mängel. Sehr ruhige, fast abgeschiedene Lage. Wanderweg direkt vorm Einfahrtstor. Hab sogar mein Elektroauto geladen, und wer sich einen mobilen Router mitbringt, hat auch W-Lan. :-)
Ein Grundstück mit See, eigenem kleinen Häuschen umgeben von Wald, Wanderwegen und (wenn man richtig hinschaut) auch noch jeder Menge Tiere.
Für unsere Familie ist das, zumindest für ein paar Tage im Jahr, die Erfahrung des absoluten Wohnteaums und genau deshalb können wir mit Freude und aus Überzeugung sagen, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
Nicht nur das, das Haus selbst alles bietet was man zum alltäglichen Leben braucht, auch das ganz drum herum bereitete uns (nun schon zum 2. Mal) sehr große Freude.
Herr Liebkopf ist ein äußerst angenehmer, freundlicher und wirklich hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Gut betreut ohne dabei unangenehm aufdringlich zu werden fühlt man sich hier tatsächlich als ein gerne gesehener und gut aufgehobener Gast.
Auch oder gerade die Tatsache das es vor Ort kein Internet gibt gefällt uns persönlich sehr gut, wenn es notwendig wäre bräuchte man auch nur ein paar wenige Schritte zu gehen und man ist wieder auf vollen Empfang. ?
Mit Blick auf dem See schmeckt der Morgenkaffee gleich viel besser und mit frischen Eiern aus der Region und selbstgemachten Brötchen vom Bäcker im Ort lässt sich auch das Frühstück gut und gerne draußen an der frischen Luft genießen.
Um mich nicht in einer ellenlangen Lobhymne zu versinken möchte ich zum Abschluss nur noch erwähnen, das sich ein Besuch des Schleusingener Museums auf jeden Fall lohnt. Und wenn man aud dem Rückweg noch kurz beim Lidl halt macht kann man den Tag perfekt mit ei em gemütlichen Grillabend ausklingen lassen. ?
Das haus hat alles was man braucht, vom Kühlschrank bis zum Herd, von der Dusche bis zur gemütlichen Sitzecke, drinnen wie draußen gibt es nichts zu vermissen.
Ob Wandern, gemütlich spazieren gehen, gemeinsam grillen oder bei einer guten Tasse Kaffee der Sonne beim aufgehen zusehen. Hier kommen Körper und vor allem auch der Kopf mal wieder richtig schön zur Ruhe.
Mit der richtigen Ausrüstung kann man man hervorragende Tierfotos machen und wenn man Glück hat lässt sich sogar mal kurz ein Eisvogel sehen.
Auch der Vermieter war stets freundlich und verlässlich.
Ob Hund, Kinder oder Erwachsene, wir alle haben jeden einzelnen Tag in vollen Zügen genossen und uns fest vorgenommen im nächsten Jahr wieder zu kommen.
Sie wären gerne länger geblieben.

Die Küche ist ausgestattet mit allem, was es braucht, WLAN gibt’s keins.
