With our log cabin we offer something extraordinary for large family reunions or larger groups. The price depends on the number of persons. We offer the holiday home from an occupancy of 5 persons and a minimum rental period of 3 days. For larger groups, an occupancy of 2 nights is also possible. Please use the price calculator for your group.
It is a non-smoking house and pets are unfortunately not allowed.
The solid wooden house is a former restaurant and offers an extraordinary amount of space for 14 people. Thanks to our two other holiday properties on the same site, we can accommodate a total of 20 people, who can stay together in the log cabin.
Covering a total of 250 m², the ground-floor log cabin has
- 1 bedroom with adjoining bathroom;
- 3 further bedrooms of different sizes, which can be used as family rooms or children's rooms;
- 1 living room/bedroom.

As a special highlight, we have left the original bar in the room, where you can socialise. Refrigeration is available, but the beer tap is not in operation. In the original restaurant kitchen there is plenty of space to cook together. In the basement there are two 30 m² washrooms with three toilets, a urinal and two showers.
From the partially covered terrace you have an unobstructed view over meadows and forests.
Plenty of parking spaces are available directly at the property.

The log cabin is located in the Eder Valley, in Hesse's green north in a picture-book landscape, next to the unspoilt UNESCO World Heritage Site 'Kellerwald-Edersee National Park' with its almost untouched beech forests and just nine kilometres from Lake Edersee with its water sports facilities.
The charming spa town with its 20 healing springs and the largest spa park in Europe is around 4 kilometres away. Its special charm and many cultural events have made it a feel-good town and oasis of well-being.
Anraff is a small, rural and idyllic place with less than 400 inhabitants, embedded in the natural landscape of the Eder and ideal for nature lovers. A few years ago, storks returned to the village and can be seen foraging in the meadows. Anraff is the ideal starting point for cycling tours around the Edersee and the Kellerwald forest, as several cycle paths pass close to the house.
The area is known as a holiday destination and for its environmentally friendly tourism. Whether nature, culture, sport, wellness or fitness, from here you can easily reach everything your heart desires: - Edersee with castle - Edertalsperre - treetop walk - TreeTopWalk on the Edersee - Edersee wildlife park - Peterskopf with high reservoir - cathedral city of Fritzlar - baroque castle - historic towns in the area - Wilhelmshöhe Castle and the landmark Hercules with the cascades

Everything was top-notch - we felt very comfortable (not only at the bar!!)
Everything in the house works perfectly, very clean, adequate inventory, and a great kitchen!! It was a lot of fun.

A house that is one of a kind!
For the first time we were in North Hesse and honestly, it takes a lot for me to write a review! Either it was a total horror or great!
To make it short: it was GREAT!
I am in a wheelchair and due to the existing lack of coordination (ataxia), I cannot take a step!
The house is a converted restaurant with 5 rooms or accommodation options. The beds (at least 12) are all in mint condition and contribute to a restful sleep!
It is really barrier-free and I have already experienced other houses with a 5m difference in height but barrier-free inside!
Here everything is on one level, one room with an adjoining bathroom, the rest of the people have to go down steps to the shower, toilet, and sink!
A large seating area arranged in a U-shape was available to us 12 people!
Outside on the terrace, there is a large Rösle gas grill, which was allowed to prove its quality once! 2 large covered wooden tables invite you to sit outside.
Since it is a converted restaurant, there are more than enough parking spaces available!
The only negative criticism I heard was that a clothes rack was searched for and not found!
Conclusion of this short vacation. We will definitely not be the last time in this house. From my point of view, everything was perfect! - GREAT - gladly, again and again!

Weekend trip
We spent a wonderful weekend with you. We were 10 people (friends and family). We didn't miss anything. The equipment of the house is phenomenal. We can highly recommend it. And all of us agree- We will come back.

Recommended accommodation
We really liked it! Clean and tidy, with plenty of space in the house. The beds are good. The kitchen is equipped with everything and the bar is a little highlight (therefore suitable for a men's round). We also liked the quiet location, Bad Wildungen and Edersee are quickly accessible and those who want to paddle on the Eder already have a canoe rental in the village. A great weekend in the log cabin!

Everything is fine.
We all really enjoyed it! Everyone was thrilled with the bar as well as the large kitchen. We would also like to thank you for the great equipment (plates, cups, cutlery, glasses of all kinds, pans, knives, spices, towels in the bathrooms, cleaning supplies, furniture for the terrace, umbrellas, gas grill, and so on).
