The garden with its 4000 square meters is created wildly romantic with old trees and a lily pond. The property is completely fenced with a natural stone wall.
The pool is secluded and measures about 4x7 meters. Beach chairs with cushions, umbrellas etc are of course available.
The first two bedrooms are divided into a master bedroom with large mosquito net and air conditioning, optional cot is available. The second bedroom is located in the back of the finca with double bed, mosquito net and a large built-in closet, from this one also enters the 'studio', but which can also be used separately through the back entrance. The attic studio, downstairs with adjoining room, is equipped with a shower, private toilet and washbasin. Up here, there is again a bed in a single bed and stunning views from the private terrace with spectacular evening sunset and views of Palma, sea and mountains!
The finca was completely rebuilt in 2010 and modernized. Since our house is a pure private house, which is rented by us this year due to a longer stay in Germany, no standardized, for tourists oriented furniture or equipment can be expected. Our finca has all the amenities of a grown home and is not a standard holiday finca.
German television and Wi-Fi are also available.
Attention: In the bathroom and passage bedroom (water lily pond) it can come in some summer weeks to frenetic frog concerts :)
Caution cat allergic: There is a tame cat from time to stop by.

Pórtol is the village of the potteries of Mallorca, here is still made Mallorcan handicrafts, which can also be purchased directly.
From the Finca to reach on foot supermarkets, bakeries, butchers and newsagents, so everything you need for daily life, but the unique thing about this village is that tourism really has not arrived, here you can land and people still enjoy authentic!
You can really get in the 4 km away 'Outlet Village' -Festival Park, there is the right gift for every taste.
The neighboring village of Santa Maria del Camí, with its Sunday market, has long since become a tourist attraction on the island, and the 'Convent de los Minimos' monastery is also open to visitors.
Whether only walking or hiking, everything can be realized from the front door.

Relaxed vacation away from the hustle and bustle.
We spent 10 days in this beautiful finca in July. The location is absolutely top if you are looking for peace, relaxation, and privacy away from mass tourism. The airport, shopping facilities, and markets are not far away. The finca is very clean, well maintained, and very well equipped. The air conditioning is essential for a restful night, especially in the height of summer, at least to cool down the rooms temporarily. However, the air conditioning in the attic does not work properly. For us, that wasn't a problem as we were traveling with 3 adults and a baby and only needed 2 bedrooms. The outdoor area with pool, daybed, and terrace is beautiful. Since you live in the countryside, it should be noted that the mosquitoes appear from 5:00 PM onwards: there are very many, very small, and aggressive ones. If you want to spend the evenings outside without getting completely bitten, you should have mosquito repellent on hand. There are mosquito nets on the windows in all living and sleeping rooms in the house and additionally around the beds. The ants are also very active, so you have to meticulously remove all crumbs from the house and keep the food sealed. That's part of the idyllic Mediterranean nature life. If that doesn't bother you, you will be able to spend a relaxing and beautiful holiday in this finca. We can recommend this accommodation without reservation.

A wonderful 5 star holiday *****
We had a wonderful time in a perfectly clean accommodation, it couldn't have been better!
Many thanks also for the warm welcome, Martina, we immediately felt 'at home'..
We can in no way understand the previous evaluation!!!!
There are a total of 4 air conditioners..
So, in case of a defective unit, we would have had alternative options! Complaining at a high level ?
Especially because the air conditioners are included in the price... in other holiday accommodations the whole thing is charged extra!!!!
We give 5 stars for our holiday in this beautiful house with pool and garden and absolutely 100% privacy and of course there is the cat Luna, who we have taken very much to our hearts❤️
We recommend the Finca CASA DEL SUR 1000 percent and hope for another wonderful holiday.

Ruhige Finca
We spent 22 days here in July, the three of us, in this house. The house, grounds, and pool area are very beautiful. However, due to the extremely hot weather and a broken air conditioning unit in the second bedroom by the water lily pond, and the strong heat buildup in the attic room (third bedroom), most nights were not restful. During this time, the attic room was not usable for us as the AC struggled to cool the room down during the intense heat (up to 40 degrees). The attic and the second bedroom need to be better ventilated. We couldn't shade the side windows, which made the room heat up all day. The rooftop terrace has an awning, but it doesn't help much here. Following the landlord's instructions (house rules), we tried not to let the air conditioning run for unnecessary long periods. The attic room proved to be completely unsuitable as a bedroom. Unfortunately, from the beginning, the air conditioning in the second bedroom by the water lilies was broken. We tried to make it work, but after 7 days, we informed them. After 4 days... could a craftsman come by (there is also a shortage of craftsmen) to check it. and fix it only almost 1 week later. So we only had 2 bedrooms with well-functioning AC for 4 days. After the repair, the 2nd bedroom was usable. We were told that these two bedrooms were not used before us. Unfortunately, this error only occurred after 30 minutes. Therefore, we think that this error would have been noticed in a previous use (functional test?). The kitchen is well-equipped. However, the partially filled refrigerator and full freezer are not suitable for rental. Partially used food and frozen items from the rental or previous tenant were stored there. If it is stated that there is a refrigerator and freezer, we assume that we can use them. Due to the circumstances, we have contacted the landlord and hoped to come to a financial agreement with him. He did not see the error in himself and did not come to meet us.

Wir sind untröstlich, dass Sie frustriert abreisen mussten!
Wir und vor Allem unsere Haushälterin Martina haben alles menschenmögliche getan, um in dieser doch außergewöhnlichen Hitzewelle, die eine (von drei) ausgefallene Klimaanlage reparieren zu lassen. Dies gelang nur so schnell, wegen unserer guten Kontakte.
Hätten Sie nicht eine Woche gewartet um uns überhaupt über das vorhandene Problem zu informieren, hätten wir auch schneller handeln können. Leider musste der Kühltechniker dann auch erst auf ein bestelltes Ersatzteil warten.
Irritierend ist jedoch für uns, dass nach Ihrem Urlaub noch aufgefallen ist, dass das obere Stockwerk auch nicht bewohnbar war, weil eben alles viel zu heiß war (trotz funktionierender Klimaanlage), auch das hätten Sie mit unserer Vertrauensperson kommunizieren können!
Mallorca im Hochsommer ist und bleibt eine Herausforderung für hitzeempfindliche Menschen und glauben Sie mir, Sie waren nicht die Einzigen in diesem Zeitraum mit Schlafproblemen!
..und ja, Senf, Ketchup und Grillsauce lassen wir zur Verfügung für die nächsten Feriengäste, damit hatten wir auch noch nie ein Problem.
Wir hoffen Sie behalten unser Feriendomizil trotzdem in guter Erinnerung!☺️

Wonderful family time in Mallorca
We were able to spend a wonderful, relaxed week together in the finca of Mrs. Albrecht and Mr. Ziegenhals. As time is always limited in everyday life at home with grown-up children/children-in-law, we were able to recharge our batteries together here in this little paradise. The house with its wonderful garden offers space and room to spend time together - but also enough retreats to be alone for a while. We especially liked the spacious kitchen, which was really equipped with everything you needed. It offered enough space to work comfortably with several people and with its direct access to the terrace, it was totally uncomplicated.
The garden with its different corners always allowed us to discover something new and until then I had no idea how much fun it can be to watch frogs - they are really funny - and how soothing croaking can be
You can get to the mountains quickly by car, but you can also spend a day at the sea, the finca is really ideally located. Of course, the twinkling lights of Palma in the evening are beautiful to see and at the same time the joy of not being there in the hustle and bustle. We are very grateful for the friendly welcome by Martina, who waited patiently for us as the plane was late - we felt warmly welcomed straight away. Finally, it only remains for us to say that we also thank you very much for trusting us with your beautiful second home....

Oasis of peace and pure relaxation
We spent a wonderful 2 weeks on this finca!
On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Martina and immediately felt "at home".
The peace and quiet in the morning with a coffee on the terrace, or with a glass of wine in the evening, and in addition the fabulous view of Palma - simply indescribable !
The house offers all the amenities you can imagine: from a perfectly equipped kitchen, cosy bedrooms, to an always clean pool (thanks Matthias). The lovely bathroom facing the lily pond from which you can walk directly into the garden, the *small* selection of board games for the evenings, chilling on the daybed etc. etc....
The internet always worked perfectly - my daughter was able to take her university exams online here
If you are looking for peace and quiet in a perfect location, this is the place for you.
For daytime activities, we recommend renting a car.
