Description
The holiday flat is located on the ground floor. From the living room you can access a spacious terrace with awning, garden furniture and barbecue. The lawn and courtyard offer many opportunities for sports, games and recreation. The living room is divided into a dining and living area. There is a double bed in the large bedroom, the other bedrooms are smaller and each have two single beds.
Two bedrooms are behind each other and the second bathroom is adjacent.
In the first bathroom you have a double washbasin, shower and toilet. The second bathroom, which can be used by 6 people or more, has a washbasin, shower and WC.
Bed linen and towels (1 towel, 1 shower towel per person/week) are provided.
The kitchen is very well equipped with electrical appliances, crockery and kitchen utensils.
The holiday flat offers a lot of space, is cosy, rustic furnished.

The holiday flat is located in a detached house, surrounded by nature and fields.
Very quiet location and ideal starting point for excursions, cycling tours, hikes In just a few minutes you can reach the centre of Eschwege by car, bike or bus. In addition, you will find many easily accessible excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity. In 20 minutes by car you can reach the "Hoher Meißner" with its well-developed hiking network, the hiking area "Hessische Schweiz" and many other hiking trails around Eschwege also invite you to hikes and walks.
The landscape in the Werra valley is very varied and charming with pretty little half-timbered towns and villages. The Werra meanders through the valley and invites you to go canoeing. You can sail, surf and swim on the Werratalsee lake, which lies directly near Eschwege.
The cities of Göttingen, Kassel, Bad Hersfeld, Eisenach and Erfurt are easy to reach
If you simply want to relax, you can choose between several open-air swimming pools, go to the indoor swimming pool in Eschwege or relax in the thermal baths in Bad Sooden-Allendorf

Relaxing short vacation

A large very clean apartment. Everything was there that the heart desires.
The apartment was large and a bit too large for the two of us. But I liked it! The kitchen was sufficient and well equipped. The bathroom huge and the walk-in shower great.

Great break
We really enjoyed the week in Eschwege Oberhone. The holiday apartment is spacious, clean, and has all the essentials available. A pleasant surprise was the washing machine, which is quite useful with two children.
We particularly liked the incredibly beautiful, quiet location. The evening walks through the wonderful landscape were great.
The Pröger family was very friendly and helpful.
In summary: we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again.

But a little disappointed
When you rent a vacation apartment with "4 bedrooms," you expect that as well. We were only 2, but 3 rooms were completely locked, as were almost all the closets. Nowhere could we read that you have to book additional rooms. 3 steps to the vacation apartment? No, there are 5, and you can't hold onto anything! No anti-slip mat in the shower. Not a good vacation apartment for people with back or walking problems! There was also nothing in the kitchen for the first day, not a bit of coffee or tea, sugar... Good that we had all this with us. Also in the bathroom only a little bit of soap and that was it.
"Spotlessly clean"? No, there is a lot of dust on all the cabinets and the spiders in the bathroom have free rein.
The hosts are friendly enough, so no problem.
We had a good time, but we certainly wouldn't come back. Better to raise the price a bit and offer more!

Everything is wonderful, gladly again.
A wonderfully quiet vacation,
with very friendly and accommodating hosts - many thanks for that already.
The house is located in an absolutely quiet area. You can hardly hear anything from the not-so-far-away road, which is certainly also due to the dense tree and shrub growth around the property.
The garden at the house is beautifully maintained, making the stay on the terrace enjoyable in every respect. The apartment is - as expected from the square meters - really spacious, you don't constantly step on each other's toes even when fully occupied. The furnishings and cleanliness are also top-notch.
For activities outside the house, there are plenty of options in the area, whether hiking, cycling, or sightseeing.
We would love to come back, thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Besonders gefallen hat uns die unglaubliche schöne, ruhige Lage. Die abendlichen Spaziergänge durch die tolle Landschaft waren toll.
Familie Pröger war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Zusammenfassend: wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt mal wieder.
3 Stufen zur Fewo? Nein, es sind 5 und man kann sich nirgendwo festhalten!
Keine anti-Rutschmatte in der Dusche. Keine gute Fewo für Leute mit Rücken-oder Gehprobleme!
Es gab auch Nichts in der Küche für den ersten tag, kein bisschen Kaffee oder Tee, Zucker... Gut dass wir das alles mit uns hatten. Auch im Bad nur ein klein bisschen Seife und das war es.
"Blitzblank sauber"? Nein, auf alle Schränke gibt es eine menge Staub und die Spinnen im bad haben freies Spiel.
Die Gastgeber sind freundlich genug, da kein Problem.
Wir hatten eine gute Zeit, würden jedoch sicher nicht wiederkommen. Besser den Preis ein bisschen höher setzen und mehr bieten!

Das Haus befindet sich in absolut ruhiger Lage. Von der gar nicht so sehr weit entfernten Straße hört man praktisch nichts, was mit Sicherheit auch an dem dichten Baum- und Strauch-Bewuchs rings um das Anwesen liegt.
Der Garten am Haus ist herrlich gepflegt, so dass auch der Aufenthalt auf der Terasse in jeder Hinsicht Spaß macht.
Die Wohnung ist - wie bei den Quadratmetern zu erwarten - echt großzügig, da tritt man sich auch bei voller Belegung nicht ständig gegnseitig auf die Zehen. Die Einrichtung und die Sauberkeit sind ebenfalls Top.
Für Unternehmungen ausser Haus gibt es in der Umgebung jede Menge Möglichkeiten, egal ob Wandern, Radfahren oder Besichtigungen.
Wir werden gerne wieder kommen, vielen Dank für einen wunderschönen Urlaub.
Der Einrichtungsstil ist aus den 70er Jahren und hat uns an unsere Oma erinnert. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist top! Gerne kommen wir wieder!
