On the 2000 sqm lovingly landscaped and green property, completely fenced with park-like green areas and a large piece of forest, you have at your SOLE disposal a Finnish outdoor block sauna, an indoor swimming pool (usable from the beginning of May to October), a charcoal barbecue trolley, 2 garden ponds with fish, sunbathing lawn with garden loungers and two swings. Several outdoor seating areas and a furnished, covered terrace invite you to linger without being seen from outside.

The cities of Koblenz (45 km), Trier (100 km), Wiesbaden (45 km) are within easy reach for a city tour, as are the small towns of Cochem, Beilstein or Bernkastel Mosel.

Great place for retreat and relaxation
We spent some snowy days with a group of six friends in the large estate and are completely thrilled. Nearby, there are beautiful hiking trails through the forest and the Middle Rhine Valley. The cabin itself offers plenty of space, and the loving furnishings of the house and property contribute to our desire to never leave the place. The highlights for us were definitely the cozy evenings by the fireplace, in the sauna, and stargazing in the garden. A full recommendation for anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some time in nature.

Peace and relaxation in a rural setting
We spent 2 wonderful weeks at Haus am Waldeck. Very beautiful, well-kept garden, great indoor swimming pool with super pool and nice sauna . The holiday home is cosily furnished. The condition of the house, the swimming pool and the garden is perfect; the equipment is complete and well thought out.
As there are no shopping facilities nearby (nearest approx. 6 km), a car is definitely recommended.
The house is in a very quiet location and can be reached via a paved path about 300 m long.
The carport is also very suitable for large cars.
The surrounding area is very hilly, but was no problem with our e-bikes.

Dream holiday
Despite the great heat in August, we spent pleasant days in the Haus am Waldeck, the diversely designed garden, the great indoor swimming pool with the wonderful pool, the holiday home with the cosy rustic furnishings: we felt very comfortable. The state of maintenance of the house, swimming pool and garden was perfect, everything was complete and well thought out
We can recommend the Haus am Waldeck for guests who love peace and quiet, hiking and nature, who want to make excursions into the World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley and then relax in the garden, pool or sauna.

Needs getting used to
The house is okay. The house is made of wood. When we arrived, we had to heat the house really hard because it was freezing cold. I think the house was normally equipped. The TV was not that big. There was an outdated stereo system with a CD player. Other holidaymakers thought it was sooooo great. Well, taste is different. When we took a shower, the water stank like manure. And that every time. It's certainly nice there in the summer. The house is near the Loreley rock.

Very cosy cottage with a well-maintained property. In addition, a good location with very beautiful landscape and enough recreational opportunities nearby
