Your holiday retreat (approx. 80 sqm living space) for 4 (up to max. 6 by arrangement) persons has

On the 2000 sqm lovingly landscaped and green property, completely fenced with park-like green areas and a large piece of forest, you have at your SOLE disposal a Finnish outdoor block sauna, an indoor swimming pool (usable from the beginning of May to October), a charcoal barbecue trolley, 2 garden ponds with fish, sunbathing lawn with garden loungers and two swings. Several outdoor seating areas and a furnished, covered terrace invite you to linger without being seen from outside.

Experience nature, unrestricted peace and relaxation on the edge of the weekend area "Am Weierwäldchen" in Bogel near Nastätten, 8 km away from St. Goarshausen on the Rhine, Loreley. The cities of Koblenz (45 km), Trier (100 km), Wiesbaden (45 km) are within easy reach for a city tour, as are the small towns of Cochem, Beilstein or Bernkastel Mosel.
Countless sports and leisure activities in St. Goarshausen as well as events on the Loreley open-air stage or the many castles on the Rhine delight locals and tourists alike.

Peace and relaxation in a rural setting
We spent 2 wonderful weeks at Haus am Waldeck. Very beautiful, well-kept garden, great indoor swimming pool with super pool and nice sauna . The holiday home is cosily furnished. The condition of the house, the swimming pool and the garden is perfect; the equipment is complete and well thought out.
As there are no shopping facilities nearby (nearest approx. 6 km), a car is definitely recommended.
The house is in a very quiet location and can be reached via a paved path about 300 m long.
The carport is also very suitable for large cars.
The surrounding area is very hilly, but was no problem with our e-bikes.

Dream holiday
Despite the great heat in August, we spent pleasant days in the Haus am Waldeck, the diversely designed garden, the great indoor swimming pool with the wonderful pool, the holiday home with the cosy rustic furnishings: we felt very comfortable. The state of maintenance of the house, swimming pool and garden was perfect, everything was complete and well thought out
We can recommend the Haus am Waldeck for guests who love peace and quiet, hiking and nature, who want to make excursions into the World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley and then relax in the garden, pool or sauna.

Needs getting used to
The house is okay. The house is made of wood. When we arrived, we had to heat the house really hard because it was freezing cold. I think the house was normally equipped. The TV was not that big. There was an outdated stereo system with a CD player. Other holidaymakers thought it was sooooo great. Well, taste is different. When we took a shower, the water stank like manure. And that every time. It's certainly nice there in the summer. The house is near the Loreley rock.

Location excellent, totally quiet, everything you need available, great sauna, swimming pool is perfect, everything nice and clean. Shopping possibilities just 7 minutes away. Very nice landlords, highly recommended!!!!

Damn it!!!!!
Nice, the booking process was very friendly. Upon arrival at the house, we found that we had never booked such a great vacation home before. It really lacks nothing, a very nice sauna and the pool is simply AMAZING, highly recommended!!!!

Ausgezeichnet
Sehr gemütliches Haus mit wunderschönem Garten und tollem Pool. Wir haben nach der Ankunft direkt nochmal gebucht. Bequeme Betten, perfekt ausgestattete Küche, alles da, was man sich wünscht. Wir hatten 1 Woche warmes Wetter und konnten den Garten nutzen und 1 Woche kühles Herbstwetter mit Regen, in der wir es uns im Haus gemütlich gemacht haben. Der Pool ist bei jedem Wetter ein Genuss! In den angrenzenden Wäldern kann man sehr schön und ausgiebig laufen. Die nahe gelegene Kleinstadt bietet alles, was man braucht, um sich selbst zu versorgen.
Kleiner Hinweis (da wir das auch nicht wussten): die Endreinigung und vorgebuchte Extras ( z.B. Handtücher, etc.) müssen bei Ankunft bar bezahlt werden.
Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal und sagen "Danke" für dieses wunderschöne, kleine Paradies! Herzliche Grüße an Familie Shayn!

Kurz Urlaub -Grün,Pool, Sauna ,Erholung......pur!
Nicht weit von wunderschöne Lorelay in eine klene Wäldschen liegt diese Traum Häuschen, mit entzückenden Garten und überdachten Pool.Wir könnten die Ruhe wunderbar geniesen,entspannt mit Glas Wein am Pool die Seele baumeln lassen ...Perfekt für Menschen die ruhig und grün wohnen mögen. Wir haben kleine Ausflüge gemacht nach Cochem,Bad Ems und natürlich die kleine orte der Lorelay.Uns hat sehr gut gefallen, trotz kurze Zeit fahren wir erholt und zufrieden nach Hause.Sehr zu empfehlen-wir kommen wieder.Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber Famile Shayan.Grüsse auch an die nette Nachbarschaft.Maria und Metin aus Potsdam

Ruhe und Erholung
Rustikal und gemütlich eingerichtetes Ferienhaus für 2 - 4 Personen in einem ruhigen Wochenendgebiet. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet; Geschirr, Gläser, Teller etc. sind in mehr als ausreichendem Maß vorhanden. Das Bad ist etwas klein, ist aber in Ordnung. Haus wurde im sauberen Zustand übergeben. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben uns alles ausführlich erklärt. Highlight ist der toll angelegte Garten mit seinen zahlreichen Sitzgelegenheiten und -natürlich- das Hallenbad. Wir können das Objekt uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Schöner Urlaub
Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr abgelegen daher ideal für ruhesuchende Urlauber.
Der Pool ist sehr schön ebenso das uneinsehbare Grundstück.
Wir haben mit dem Auto mehrere Ausflüge gemacht z.B. Rüdesheim, Boppard, Wiesbaden. Wir hatten Fahrräder mit, ist aber aufgrund der Steigungen eher was
für sportlich ambitionierte Radfahrer.
Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub und kommen gerne wieder.

What a gem...what a pool...what a great region !!!!
Everything your heart desires is available here! Everyone is sure to find his or her taste here. Even a forest hike is possible. It can even rain sometimes, after all there is a magnificent covered pool, a sauna, a flat-screen TV in home cinema format, board games...
We really didn't regret the 1400 km round trip, because the area is also wonderful. Take the day trip from Rüdesheim over the vineyards with the cable car up to the hiking trail with countless views, monument, game reserve, restaurants. Then take the chairlift down to Assmannshausen. Stroll through the cosy town to the boat pier. And with the ship past the Mäuseturm back to Rüdesheim...hey...and that for 17,50...honestly please: WHERE DOES IT GO TO !!!!? Or do you have children : Then off to the Taunus-Wunderpark...40 km journey and the day flies by with all the attractions !!!! Take a change of underwear ;-) the wild water ride takes its toll !!!! And if you just want to watch the fish in 2 ponds doing their thing....na sure...you can do that too. BUT DON'T FEED THEM !!!! Because there are rules ! And another thing : The photos don't lie ...Oh, and we are not friends of the Schayn family...WE ARE JUST SATISFIED GUESTS : Elisabeth 11 years ; Greta 9 years ; Grandma Gitte & Grandpa Micha

Exceeds all expectations!
The cottage is very cosy, decorated with attention to detail and equipped with everything you could wish for. The sauna, the fireplace and the sunny terrace are ideal for relaxing.
It is very different from the cottages we have stayed in so far. We felt at home and didn't want to leave!
The landlords are also very nice people.
We can only recommend the cottage and will definitely come back!

Die Unterkunft ist in einer herrlichen Lage, alles ist sehr sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.
