Description
Ideal base for excursions in the historical surroundings: A well-equipped and cosy little apartment on the edge of Lagrasse. Just a few minutes' walk down to the river Orbieu (where the municipality has created a lovely bathing area) and the famous abbey of St Marie.
The flat consists of a living area (with table and 4 chairs, as well as chest of drawers, couch and TV), a sleeping area with double bed ((140 x 190) and wardrobe,
Kitchen with electric cooker, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, coffee machine.
Bathroom with shower and washbasin, separate toilet. Washing machine and WIFI are also there. Nice terrace with barbecue and garden furniture.
Parking possibility directly at the house (except during high season, then there is public parking - free of charge - at the edge of the village).

Location and surroundings of object
The house is situated on a little road with hardly any traffic and just above the river Orbieu. It is only a few steps to the centre with its beautiful covered market square, the many cobbled streets with interesting shops and galleries (art, handicrafts, ceramics, etc.) and good restaurants.
Hiking is possible in the surrounding area on well-signposted footpaths, as well as: cycling, horse riding, tennis, concerts, art exhibitions, fishing and bathing in the
Visit Mediterranean markets, historic towns such as Narbonne, Beziers, Montpellier, Perpignan and of course the Cité of Carcassonne,
Cathar castles such as Peyrepertuse, Quéribus or Puylaurens
Wineries with wine tasting,
Mediterranean seaside resorts like Canet or Collioure,
Boat trips on the Canal du etc.
Lagrasse is only about 40 km away from the famous Cité de Carcassonne (so also not far from the Ryanair airport 'Salvaza' with connection to Brussels), and not far from interesting historical sites like the Cathar castles (Peyrepertuse, Quéribus, Montségur, Lastours), Narbonne (traces of the Romans like the Via Domitia), Rennes-le-Château, Minerve, etc.
Also not far from the Mediterranean beaches, the golf course in Carcassonne, beautiful swimming spots in the river Orbieu (Ribaute), many marked walks (recommended: sculpture walk at Mayronnes), the Canal du Midi (boat trips) and not even far from
from Spain ( the Dali Museum in Figueiras is only about 1 1/2 hours drive, Barcelona 3 hours).

Cancellation terms:
Free cancellation possible up to 90 days before the arrival date.
Every cancellation of the reservation should be made by registered mail or by email before the start date of the rental period. In general, 30% of the total rental amount is due if cancellation occurs between the reservation date and 6 weeks prior to departure. From 6 to 3 weeks before departure, 65% of the rental amount is due. From 3 weeks before departure, the full rental amount is due.

Beautiful quiet accommodation
The flat is much nicer than the photos show. The landlord is very nice, gives good tips on things to do, restaurants etc.. There is everything you need for a holiday, everything was very neat and clean, furnished with attention to detail and in a very, very quiet location. You can really feel comfortable and relax here.
recommend for: cultural and sightseeing holiday, romantic holiday
Vicinity of the holiday home: Ruhig, viel Kultur & tolle Landschaft und schöner Ausblick.
shopping facilities: Gut sortierter Tante-Emma-Laden, Bäckerei, tolle Restaurants etc. alles fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.
