Location and surroundings of object
The property is very quiet and close to nature, about 300 meters from the Kubitzer Bodden/Fokker Strom, with unobstructed wide views of fields and the Bodden. The municipality of Ummanz, to which Mursewiek belongs, is located directly at the Vorpommerische Boddenlandschaft National Park with its magnificent and unspoiled nature. From the bedroom, you will step onto the terrace and feel like a part of this nature.
Via a bridge at Waase, in approx. 800 meters from the farmhouse, you drive onto the idyllic Ummanz peninsula. Directly after the bridge you reach the district of Waase with a small fishing harbor. Here you can also rent boats. A few meters further you reach a small bathing spot. On Ummanz you will find a kitesurfing area with a view all the way to the island of Hiddensee. (Courses can be booked here directly on site) Families with children especially love the natural beach here with its very gently sloping water in the district of Suhrendorf with a view as far as the island of Hiddensee. Also ideal for children are the many opportunities at the Erlebnisbauernhof Lange in Lieschow, approx. 1000 meters from the Historic Farmhouse 1840. Here, children can bake bread, ride on tractors, take part in many activities, and observe rabbits, chickens and chicks, as well as pigs and piglets. Barbecue evenings with extensive buffets are held here regularly. The farmer still bakes the bread himself here, and you can buy freshly baked bread and, of course, the corresponding rolls every day in his farm shop. Eggs, homemade jams, and vegetables from their own cultivation are offered fresh here every day. Not to forget the green and white asparagus, which is still available here late into the season.
For nature lovers, Ummanz offers a variety of bird species. The birds of happiness gather here at large crane resting places; you can observe them from special shelters at close range.
Pedal boats, rowing boats, and motorboats can be rented in Waase, as well as bicycles with which you can take unforgettable tours on and around Ummanz. Various cafés with direct water views invite you to linger. Interesting carriage rides can be booked at the Haflinger stud farm on Ummanz.
You can reach the very beautiful village of Gingst via newly constructed cycle paths in about 6 kilometers. Here you will find various shopping opportunities, an organic shop, and a pottery. A very well-stocked library with regular readings in the renovated market house by the church offers you enough “reading material” for days at the beach or by the fireplace. Several restaurants (my tip: Flammkuchen at the 'Alte Post') and a beautiful marketplace with historic buildings add to the charm of this village. (It has already been awarded as the most beautiful village on Rügen several times)
For many visitors to Rügen, the Störtebecker Festival on an open-air stage by the Bodden near Ralswiek is already a “must,” no matter the weather. Be sure to get your tickets in advance. You can reach the open-air stage in about 15 kilometers. From Schaprode, you can take a day trip to the island of Hiddensee and afterwards return to Schaprode to refresh yourself in a restaurant with a view of the water……. and if you are looking for the seemingly endless long sandy beaches and seaside resorts: Binz and Sellin leave nothing to be desired here, Putgarten and the long fine sandy beaches starting from Juliusruh (where you will still find a nice spot even in high season) can also be combined with using the Wittow ferry.

Vacation in the beautiful farmhouse in the middle of nature
We had a wonderful vacation in the lovingly designed house, in the middle of nature. Achim thought of everything, so that you feel completely comfortable. The island of Rügen can be wonderfully explored from here. And after excursions, you gladly return to this quiet and ideal place for relaxation.

Holiday in the Historic Farmhouse
The house has been lovingly restored. Old substance has been preserved and the new tastefully added. There is plenty of space and absolute tranquillity. The island of Rügen in all its diversity can be wonderfully experienced from here.
The handover of the keys is uncomplicated, the landlord can be reached at any time and the welcome is warm.

A beautiful house, pure relaxation and well-being
What a lovingly and high-quality designed house with a soothing and very cozy atmosphere! In addition to that, the beautiful garden with fruit trees and many comfortable seating options. The description of the house is 100% accurate and exceeded our expectations. The wonderfully quiet location surrounded by nature and Bodden brings pure relaxation. We enjoyed incredibly beautiful three weeks and also got to know the enormous variety of the island with the many good tips from the very warm and helpful landlord. For us, the house and the surroundings have become a place of longing where we would like to return.
