Since the chalet is located in the middle of the ski area, the ski lifts are also not far away. The chairlift "Gabühl" is opposite the chalet and the modern six-seater chairlift "Bürgelalm" is within 5 minutes walking distance, in the ski center Dienten. Especially this location makes our chalet so special, on the one hand you have everything in 2 minutes walking distance (bakery, Spar market, restaurants), are in the middle of the action, thus never have to use the car, have on the other hand by the quiet special location no noise and can enjoy your holiday to the fullest and peace
Ski Region Hochkönig
In the middle of the white mountains in winter and in the lush green landscape in summer, Chalet BABSI-ALM is located right next to the ski slope. In winter, let yourself be enchanted by the majestic backdrop, the magic of the slopes and the rustic and modern huts. With a total of 120 kilometres of pistes connecting the three villages of Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach, every day is a new skiing experience. In addition, the 33 modern lift facilities will take you up the mountain. A special tip is the King's Tour on which the entire ski area can be explored and the majestic backdrop of the Hochkönig is a constant companion
Also in summer the Hochkönig area shows itself from a very special side. Above all, the idyll, warmth and tranquillity can be felt in every corner of this area and makes everyday stress disappear. Starting with biking, climbing, hiking or mountaineering, everything is possible. Let yourself be tempted by the Austrian specialities in the rustic huts, which only offer products from their own farm
Dienten:
The apartments of Chalet BABSI-ALM are located in the centre of Dienten. It is the perfect starting point for skiing, hiking and sunbathing, as the village is located at 1071 meters and is therefore in the middle of the ski area. A special highlight are the ancient restored flower houses in the village and the hall church of St. Nicholas, which will take you back in time
Surroundings:
A few minutes' walk away are typical local eateries offering Austrian dishes, ranging from a typical Wiener Schnitzel to the famous Salzburger Nocken and the world-famous Kaiserschmarren. For pizza lovers, the nearby pizzeria offers a wide selection. If you want to prepare something yourself in your designer kitchen, there is a Spar supermarket just a few minutes' walk away, where you can do your shopping in comfort. If you want to end your skiing day in a cosy atmosphere, we recommend the bar in the ski centre, which is only a few minutes' walk away. In addition, there are also several shopping facilities in the ski centre as well as a ski school. Should you ever feel like getting fresh rolls from the bakery, the bakery at our chalet is also around the corner. In addition, several ski rentals and ski schools are only a few minutes walk away
With us you don't need to use the car your whole holiday, because everything in the area is within walking distance.

The well arranged wellness area is available for all our apartments and will make your heart beat faster. Starting with a Finnish sauna, which is made of a special natural wood to reach the optimal temperature leaves nothing to be desired. Let yourself be pampered by the natural herbs in our Finnish sauna and forget the stress of everyday life. After your sauna session, we recommend cooling off in our Kneipp pool filled with spring water from our own spring. In addition, our wellness area has a shower area to cool down after the sauna.
Excursions
If you ever get tired of skiing, you can take a snowshoe hike through the mountains or simply rent a toboggan and whiz down the toboggan run, which is lit up at night. We also recommend a trip to the Kitzsteinhorn, where you can make your turns on glacier snow. Also for culture lovers, the Mozart city of Salzburg is only 45 minutes away from your apartment by car.
