Description
In a special way, the very well furnished holiday cottage Falaboda embodies the closeness to nature at Lake Åsnen. At the end of a path, in a wonderfully quiet location, you can relax and enjoy nature. The house has a new, excellent conservatory and satellite TV when the sun is not shining. It is situated on its own lakeside plot with a western shore for guaranteed wonderful sunsets. Next to the own beach there are 2 canoes and a rowing boat with 5 hp outboard motor (prices) available to explore the nature from the water or to go fishing. (You can get a fishing permit from my caretaker). On the light, spacious property you will always find cosy, sunny and also shady places under the trees. Children can play and romp around, while adults can relax by the water. 2 bicycles are available for cycling tours

The house is located directly by the fish-rich lake Åsnen with a beautiful western shore. Lake Åsnen is one of the best fishing and canoeing waters with designated canoe tours in Sweden. Two canoes and an aluminium rowing boat with outboard motor are available. Around the lake are many rewarding, beautiful cycling routes. A few attractions in the vicinity are: A public lido, Kärrasand, with playground and evening cultural events is 2 km away, as is Kurrebo (garden complex) 4 km. Adventure swimming pool in Tingsryd 19 km. Golfing can be found within 50 - 80 km. Destinations for day trips are the glass manufactory Glasreich (approx. 50 km), moose country in Lagan (85 km), salmon museum (Laxhuset in Mörrum) 60 km, island Öland 130 km, Pippi & Co in Vimmerby 180 km, to the Baltic Sea (Karlshamn) 60 km, groceries in Urshult 8 km, more shopping possibilities in Tingsryd (3200 inhabitants) 19 km, or Växjö (65000 inhabitants) 50 km. The IKEA headquarters in Älmhult 55 km. The other six neighbouring houses on the peninsula are hardly noticed.

Cancellation terms:
If the tenant nominates a subsequent tenant under the same conditions, no costs will be incurred. Nevertheless, the landlord endeavors to rent the property to someone else. If a subsequent tenant cannot be found, the following costs will be incurred: - Up to 120 days before the rental period begins: 30% of the rental price - Up to 90 days before the rental period begins: 50% of the rental price - Up to 60 days before the rental period begins: 65% of the rental price - Up to 30 days before the rental period begins: 80% of the rental price - Otherwise (later than 14 days before the rental period begins): 100% of the rental price. - A one-time cancellation fee of €95 - Should the Coronavirus situation evolve to the point where entry to Sweden is not possible, I will reimburse your costs.

In the 115 m² house with winter garden (2013) + terrace are 3 bedrooms, the sauna, a new bathroom, a new kitchen and new fireplace (all from 2011), a hallway, the beautiful dining area and a large living room integrated.

Beautiful house in a quiet location. Perfect for a family with children.
We (a family of 4) stayed in this house in July 2026. Overall, we are satisfied. The furnishings (especially in the kitchen) are somewhat "dated." The direct lake access and the winter garden are perfect, especially for children. The house is very remote and thus in absolute peace. The landlord was immediately reachable for questions and was able to quickly and easily solve our "little problems." We would love to come back!

Dreamlike
We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful house. The manager of the house was also super nice and always reachable. Right by the water (the view from the dining table is priceless), simply dreamy. The highlight was the sauna, which we used very happily. We will definitely book again!

A wonderful week in autumn
A great house with super amenities.
We missed nothing, not even tools in the kitchen.
Top location, very quiet, 15 m and you are at the lakeshore.
Wonderful nature, many birds, unfortunately few fish during our week.
However, many mushrooms in the area.
I can't say if the TV works. We had breakfast every morning with a view of the lake, then outdoor activities until dinner and then a few rounds of dice until the warmth of the oven makes your eyes close. Pure relaxation.
Very good communication with the landlord and the contact person on site.

Dream vacation
We had a wonderful vacation right by Lake Asnensee. The location is dreamy – quiet and yet close to everything you need. The accommodation was perfect: very clean, lovingly furnished, and equipped with everything one could wish for. The view of the lake and the care provided by the host were particularly nice. We will definitely be happy to come back.

Wir haben nichts vermisst, nicht mal Werkzeug in der Küche.
1a-Lage, sehr ruhig, 15 m und man steht am Ufer vom See.
Herrliche Natur, viele Vögel, in unserer Woche leider wenig Fische.
Dafür in der Umgebung viele Pilze.
Ob der Fernseher funktioniert, kann ich nicht sagen. Wir haben jeden Morgen mit Blick auf den See gefrühstückt, anschließend Outdoor bis zum Abendessen und dann noch ein paar Runden würfeln bis einem von der Ofenwärme die Augen zufallen.
Erholung pur.
Sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter und dem Ansprechpartner vor Ort.
Es passt alles perfekt zusammen.
Über jeden Zweifel erhaben ist ganz besonders der wahnsinnig tolle Ausblick auf und die Nähe zum See. Grandios.
Wir kommen bestimmt auch ein drittes Mal wieder.
Der Blick von essbereich nach draußen
war wirklich sehr schön.
Wir hatten viel Spaß mit Kindern gehabt.
Angeln mit dem Boot, Pilze sammeln im Wald.
Klasse Urlaub schade das die Zeit so schnell vergangen ist.
Wir waren eine Woche zum Angeln mit 4 Personen am Åsnen, uns hat es im Haus an nichts gefehlt und der See ist einfach traumhaft. Tagsüber auf dem See angeln und Abends mit dem Bier und guten Freunden am Lagerfeuer in wunderschöner Natur sitzen.Was will man mehr. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Mit den Booten haben wir ausgiebige Touren gemacht.
traumhaft. Leider war der Angererfolg nicht so wie gehofft, trotzdem haben wir uns in diesem top gepflegtem und schönen Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt.
Zeitweise hätte man eine fallende Nadel hören können. Auch der Service vor Ort war Spitze.
Sowohl die großen Fenster als auch der Wintergarten bieten einen atemberaubenden Blick in die Natur und den See.
Angelfreunde werden voll auf ihre Kosten kommen.
Das Haus ist top gepflegt und für eine Ferienhaus ungewöhnlich gut ausgestattet. Wir haben viel Zeit vor dem Kamin und in der Sauna verbracht und das Haus als Basis für Wanderungen genutzt. Wir sind restlos zufrieden und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Urlaub um direkt aus der Sauna in den See zu springen.
Lage und Ausstattung des Ferienhauses haben uns überzeugt. Auch die Sonne meinte es ebenfalls gut mit uns. Wir werden zu " Wiederholungstätern" :-)
und kommen auch gern einmal im Winter in dieses Haus, damit auch die Sauna und der Kamin zum Zuge kommen. Ein Dank an den Vermieter.
Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat nichts gefehlt.
Die Betten waren einwandfrei.
Die Boote aus Aluminium mit Motor sehr gut zum Angeln.
Grundstück, Umgebung und See sehr
schön.
Die Landschaft ist hinreißend, Naturerlebnis pur. Zum Shoppen nach Växsjö ist es nicht weit, das ansässige Museum sehenswert, Cafe's gibt es zu Aussuchen.
Wer gern angelt, ich habe leider nichts gefangen, da die Kinder zu hektisch waren, hat dort absolute Ruhe.
Ich war mit zwei Kindern da, da mein Mann keine Lust hatte es was traumhaft, so das ich gleich für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht habe.
Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet, hat eine einmalige Lage mit eigenem Seezugang und läßt daher keine Wünsche offen. Vom Vermieter und Verwalter wurden wir sehr gut betreut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Unsere Kinder haben den kleinen Sandstrand, die Steine und natürlich die Schaukel geliebt.
Wir haben einige Wanderungen unternommen, sind Kanu gefahren oder haben einfach nur relaxt.
Gerne kommen wir wieder!
