Description
In a special way, the very well furnished holiday cottage Falaboda embodies the closeness to nature at Lake Åsnen. At the end of a path, in a wonderfully quiet location, you can relax and enjoy nature. The house has a new, excellent conservatory and satellite TV when the sun is not shining. It is situated on its own lakeside plot with a western shore for guaranteed wonderful sunsets. Next to the own beach there are 2 canoes and a rowing boat with 5 hp outboard motor (prices) available to explore the nature from the water or to go fishing. (You can get a fishing permit from my caretaker). On the light, spacious property you will always find cosy, sunny and also shady places under the trees. Children can play and romp around, while adults can relax by the water. 2 bicycles are available for cycling tours
Portal change: We no longer use the fewo-direkt portal, as there has NEVER been a case over 8 years where "service fees" would have been necessary. We do not want to burden our tenants with such unnecessary and questionable costs.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located directly by the fish-rich lake Åsnen with a beautiful western shore. Lake Åsnen is one of the best fishing and canoeing waters with designated canoe tours in Sweden. Two canoes and an aluminium rowing boat with outboard motor are available. Around the lake are many rewarding, beautiful cycling routes. A few attractions in the vicinity are: A public lido, Kärrasand, with playground and evening cultural events is 2 km away, as is Kurrebo (garden complex) 4 km. Adventure swimming pool in Tingsryd 19 km. Golfing can be found within 50 - 80 km. Destinations for day trips are the glass manufactory Glasreich (approx. 50 km), moose country in Lagan (85 km), salmon museum (Laxhuset in Mörrum) 60 km, island Öland 130 km, Pippi & Co in Vimmerby 180 km, to the Baltic Sea (Karlshamn) 60 km, groceries in Urshult 8 km, more shopping possibilities in Tingsryd (3200 inhabitants) 19 km, or Växjö (65000 inhabitants) 50 km. The IKEA headquarters in Älmhult 55 km. The other six neighbouring houses on the peninsula are hardly noticed.
Other activities: Fishing, canoeing, windsurfing and cycling in the best surroundings!!!

Cancellation terms:
If the tenant nominates a subsequent tenant under the same conditions, no costs will be incurred. Nevertheless, the landlord endeavors to rent the property to someone else. If a subsequent tenant cannot be found, the following costs will be incurred: - Up to 120 days before the rental period begins: 30% of the rental price - Up to 90 days before the rental period begins: 50% of the rental price - Up to 60 days before the rental period begins: 65% of the rental price - Up to 30 days before the rental period begins: 80% of the rental price - Otherwise (later than 14 days before the rental period begins): 100% of the rental price. - A one-time cancellation fee of €95 - Should the Coronavirus situation evolve to the point where entry to Sweden is not possible, I will reimburse your costs.

In the 115 m² house with winter garden (2013) + terrace are 3 bedrooms, the sauna, a new bathroom, a new kitchen and new fireplace (all from 2011), a hallway, the beautiful dining area and a large living room integrated.

Dreamlike
We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful house. The manager of the house was also super nice and always reachable. Right by the water (the view from the dining table is priceless), simply dreamy. The highlight was the sauna, which we used very happily. We will definitely book again!

A wonderful week in autumn
A great house with super amenities.
We missed nothing, not even tools in the kitchen.
Top location, very quiet, 15 m and you are at the lakeshore.
Wonderful nature, many birds, unfortunately few fish during our week.
However, many mushrooms in the area.
I can't say if the TV works. We had breakfast every morning with a view of the lake, then outdoor activities until dinner and then a few rounds of dice until the warmth of the oven makes your eyes close. Pure relaxation.
Very good communication with the landlord and the contact person on site.

Dream vacation
We had a wonderful vacation right by Lake Asnensee. The location is dreamy – quiet and yet close to everything you need. The accommodation was perfect: very clean, lovingly furnished, and equipped with everything one could wish for. The view of the lake and the care provided by the host were particularly nice. We will definitely be happy to come back.

Once again, everything to complete satisfaction.
We were in this fantastic house for the second time since 2018 and were just as thrilled as we were 6 years ago.
Everything fits perfectly together.
Beyond any doubt, the incredibly beautiful view of and the proximity to the lake is especially impressive. Grandiose.
We will definitely come back for a third time.

Very quiet and beautiful
