Description

The Villa Peixinho is located in the heart of the Eastern Algarve, on a hill between the charming villages of Olhão and Fuseta, from where you can also take the ferries to the islands of Armona and Culatra, as well as many restaurants and shopping.

Highlights of the property are the large protected swimming pool, the enormous living space of the house as well as the fantastic view to the lagoon and the sea from the terrace and the winter garden.

The house is adorned with many cheerful paintings and sculptures, which always show fish and are responsible for the name "Villa Peixinho" (fish). It is the work of the builder, who recently passed the house to the next generation, who have now arranged the villa for the holiday rental with much dedication.

Villa Peixinho can accommodate 6 people plus a maximum of 2 children. The house has three spacious bedrooms with double beds and each en suite bathroom en suite. Each of these rooms has generous wall-mounted closets and air conditioning (for a fee). Up to two extra beds and a baby cot can be provided.

A wide corridor leads from the bedroom to the living room. A comfortable couch and a dining table invite you to linger. A TV with German channels, DVD, video (with video library), a music system and various books provide for entertainment. W-lan Internet is also available for guests. For the colder season, there is a wood-burning stove in the living room. In addition, the house has gas central next to the dining area is the well-equipped kitchen. From here you enter the covered outdoor area, which is partly open-plan partly with windows closed. In the cooler season, light, warmth and views can be enjoyed in the winter garden. In the summer, the roof serves as a welcome shade dispenser, so the large dining table in the open area can be used in the summer at any time of the day. Directly in front of it lies the approximately 150m² large panoramic terrace on which to relax, play, eat or star. Here, too, there is a protected and covered area with a magnificent view.

Overall the property offers hardly countable withdrawal possibilities, because also the 12x5m large pool is separately located. A staircase leads through the garden to the swimming pool, which is surrounded by small buildings. These provide shade or protection from strong wind. In addition to an outdoor shower, there is also a toilet and a refrigerator, so that the constant way to the house does not diminish the holiday ...

The open sides of the pool area are partly tinted windows, so you can enjoy the privacy of all places. A sliding door as an access also serves as a protection for toddlers, so that they are not left unattended at the pool.

Villa Peixinho is a quiet, family-friendly accommodation that is equally suitable for a romantic holiday for two.

Place to relax

Villa Peixinho is an ideal retreat for people who like it quiet. We treated ourselves to this spacious property for two - or for a few days with our son. At first we thought it was too big, but after a short time we really enjoyed the spaciousness inside and outside.
The view from the terrace over the hills to the Ria Formosa, the Atlantic Ocean and the horizon may not be "spectacular" but you can get very used to it and long for it.
The 12m pool with its shower house, the "quarantine" room and the possibilities to relax is a true oasis.
Helene & Leon on the neighbouring property are wonderful hosts, warm and uncomplicated.
We would definitely love to come back!

Dream vacation in a dream house with family and friends

We were 6 people for 2 weeks in August at Villa Peixinho.
There is really nothing to complain about here.
From the booking (through the Röver family, it always works perfectly and is totally uncomplicated), to the check-in by Leon, the friendly owner of the house, you arrive and have a vacation from the first day.
Large bedrooms (all with AC and private bathroom), well-equipped kitchen, a huge terrace with sea view, and a large, great, clean pool.
In 5 minutes you can reach Fuseta or Olhao by car.
There are great restaurants and shopping opportunities for fish, which you can then prepare on the charcoal grill behind the house.
You can't get any better than this.
Sandy beaches far and wide and even in August not completely crowded, ideal for
children and for walking.
I could list another 1000 arguments for a vacation at Villa Peixinho and in the Eastern Algarve, but it's better to just go there and try it out.
We will definitely come back.

Very good!

Very large house with all amenities, also in the kitchen. Inviting large terrace and outdoor space. Officially for 6 people but in our experience, it can easily accommodate 4 more children without getting in each other's way. Hot water capacity is then (logically) insufficient. Large number of (German-language) videotapes and books. Because of the location, a car is highly recommended, supermarkets and the city are about 7 km away. Beach is about 3 km away.

Well-being holiday

Very nicely situated spacious and clean house for holidays in a quiet area. The fish paintings decorating the house are an individual highlight. The entire design of the outdoor facilities is very appealing. The on-site service was cordial. The kitchen equipment was good, but for us coffee drinkers there could have been more cups (but has not really been a problem). For us, who are not quite young anymore, there was the star deduction for the rocking bed frames. The room size would also allow for wider beds, which would also be nice in the heat. Maybe it's a suggestion if something needs to be replaced. We would like to come again....
