THE HOUSE
Enjoy your vacation in a cozy and well-kept atmosphere and let your soul unwind in the idyllic garden.
Our renovated holiday home is located in a group around a small square in the southern area of the holiday park. Behind the garden, which is bordered by old trees and faces south, there is a spacious play area with sports fields, a playground, and a trampoline. On the ground floor you will find a large open kitchen, dining and living area, a bathroom, and a bedroom.
The spacious kitchen with glass-ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, and oven offers you the greatest possible comfort even on vacation. You will also find a coffee machine that can be used with both pods and ground coffee. The amenities are completed by a washing machine with dryer function.
The cozy dining area offers enough space for up to six people. For our little guests, you will find both two children's chairs and a high chair for the very little ones. Thus, nothing stands in the way of extensive meals or cozy play sessions.
Our comfortable living room with corner sofa invites you to relax and unwind at any time.
The bright, renovated bathroom with underfloor heating and shower offers ample space for families.
In the bedroom, you will find a cozy double bed. The generous glazing facing the south-facing garden brightens the ground floor all day long. On sunny days, an awning provides shade, and by opening the large sliding element you can extend the living area to include the terrace and the garden.
Upstairs, in addition to two bedrooms, there is another WC. One of the bedrooms has a single bed, the second bedroom has a loft bed. There is also a travel cot for children available, which can be set up upstairs (bedroom with single bed) if needed.
For our guests, especially the little ones, you will find various board games and drawing materials. All common German TV channels can be received on both televisions via the park's own antenna system.

THE PARK
The holiday park DeTong is located in the immediate vicinity of the Grevelingenmeer. The Greveling is a former sea bay, which is closed off from the North Sea by the Brouwersdam and on the east side, towards the Oosterschelde, by the Grevelingendam. For shipping, a lock was built at Bruinisse to the Oosterschelde. Since the body of water was thus shielded from the tides, it is called het Grevelingenmeer in Dutch – in German: der Grevelingensee. Here you will find many pleasant cycling and hiking trails with countless seating areas, allowing you to observe the flora and fauna as well as the busy ship traffic. Directly behind the dike there is also a newly constructed marina and several small sandy beaches.
The main beach “Grevelingen Strand” is about six kilometers from the holiday home and is easily accessible by bicycle or by car. The fishing village of Bruinisse is located at the far eastern end of the island of Schouwen-Duiveland and can be reached in just a few minutes. The village lies between Rotterdam and Vlissingen and is known for its mussel farming. Here you can take a stroll, do your shopping, and stop in at one of the restaurants.
Within a few minutes’ walk from the center, you can reach the Aquadelta park. Here you will find, in addition to a small supermarket, a restaurant, and a brasserie, a bicycle rental, a bowling alley, an indoor playground, and an indoor swimming pool. These partly fee-based activities are complemented by a mini-golf course and tennis courts.
In the immediate vicinity there is a very well-maintained 18-hole golf course including a driving range, where beginners have access to a 9-hole round.
The North Sea beaches at Renesse and Brouwersdam can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. They offer, in addition to the beach experience, space for a variety of water sports.

Very nicely furnished house
We had a very nice stay, which was also due to the weather. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not good, which was probably due to the previous tenants and the cleaning service. Some functions were difficult or limited to use due to damages. The furnishings are very lovingly designed and really great for children of all ages. We would be happy to come back.

wie bereits an andere Stelle kommentiert, klären wir mit unseren Gästen alles im persönlichen Austausch. Leider kann es vorkommen, dass nicht alles zu Ihrer Zufriedenheit ist. Dann können Sie uns oder den Putzservice (Kontaktdaten in der Buchungsbestätigung) direkt anschreiben und es wird nachgebessert. Das gilt ebenso für beschädigte oder begrenzt nutzbare Dinge. Leider hatten wir durch die vorherigen Mieter und auch den Putzdienst keine Kenntnis darüber. Und dann können wir leider keine Maßnahmen einleiten. Wenn wir entsprechende Rückmeldung erhalten, dann kümmern wir uns umgehend.

It's like coming home.
We have been coming here for many years to take a break. We especially appreciate the well-thought-out furnishings of the house, where nothing is missing. The children have plenty of space to play in the park, and the path to the water is not far either. The contact with the landlord works great as well. 100% recommendation!

A beautiful holiday home
We spent a lovely vacation in the house. The location of the park is very quiet, and one can really relax well. All the larger cities are easily accessible by car. The house itself is well-equipped: oven, washing machine, dishwasher, etc. The bed took some getting used to, and it took me a few days because it is quite "firm." But everyone is different in that regard. Definitely the right choice for a vacation with a dog. The dog beach is easily accessible on foot, and there are also many dogs and nice people in the park itself. We will certainly be happy to come back again.

Beautiful short vacation
Well-appointed holiday home in a quiet little holiday park. Ideal for long walks (in our case with a dog ?) or bike rides along the coast of the Grevelingenmeer. By car, you can also reach the extensive North Sea beaches near Renesse or at the Brouwersdam in a short time.
The contact with the landlord was very friendly and uncomplicated. We had a very relaxed and great time and will definitely come back??!
