Our quietly situated, lovingly furnished holiday home for 4-5 people is located directly on the North Sea between Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven in the CUXLAND FERIENPARK DORUM. Children and dogs are very welcome here !!!
On 68 sqm distributed on two levels, cosiness and well-being are written in capital letters. We have placed great value on high-quality and comfortable furnishings.
On the upper floor you will find:
-bedroom with two single beds
-bedroom with a double bed and a stable cot (up to approx. 3 years) as well as an additional 2nd flat-screen TV (with Sky programmes)
-Both bedrooms are equipped with dimming and insect protection blinds
-Guest WC
hallway with large built-in cupboard and storage space
In the basement there are:
-large living and dining area
-flat-screen TV with Sky programmes and DVD player
-bathroom with shower at ground level
-fully equipped fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher
-storeroom with washing machine
cosy wood-burning stove
-Quiet terrace with private garden
Even the youngest have been thought of: the stairs are secured with a sturdy stair gate and there is a baby/child high chair available!
In the garden there are nice places to sit and lie down and a charcoal grill for your barbecue evenings.
Fibre-optic internet including Wi-Fi is available free of charge.
Restaurants, shopping facilities, bakery, bicycle rental, everything in the immediate vicinity.
The holiday home is classified by the German Tourism Association (DTV) and achieves an overall score within the 4**** category, but is listed in the 3*** category due to the fact that we do not provide bed linen and towels on arrival. However, bed linen and towels can be rented for a fee from the beach office.
Fancy a game of cards with friends? Read a good book in front of the crackling fire ? Have a nice barbecue on the terrace or just relax in the garden ? These are just a few examples to enjoy the most beautiful time of the year in our holiday home.
If you would also like to explore the surrounding area outside the holiday home, the Cuxland and the surrounding towns have a lot to offer.

-a wide network of cycle paths (including the Elbe-Weser cycle path)
-opportunities for mudflat walks
-enjoy the sun in a beach chair and try fresh fish or a delicious ice cream from one of the beach stalls
-Fun in the saltwater wave pool

-experience the National Park House with its aquariums and the exhibition on the Wadden Sea
-watch the gulls or migratory birds on one of the relaxation loungers on the beach
-Children's entertainment programme/supervision by the Cuxland Holiday Park

-smaller children can let off steam in the playhouse or the large adventure playground near the beach

Dorum is idyllically situated directly on the North Sea, not far from the two harbour towns of Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located in the beautiful Cuxland holiday park in Dorum-Neufeld, within walking distance of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. At the well-kept green beach, which invites you to sunbathe with its beach chairs, you will also find the "Watt'n Bad", an adventure pool for young and old with a seawater wave pool and much more. If you like, you can buy crabs fresh from the incoming cutters or enjoy a tasty fish sandwich at the small sieve harbour. For the little ones, the children's playhouse and an adventure playground offer a welcome change.
The Wadden Sea World Heritage Site right on the doorstep invites you to go for a walk in the mudflats, and you are welcome to bring your dog. A separate part of the beach is reserved for the four-legged friends to romp on. From the Obereversand lighthouse you have a wonderful view of the entire Wurster North Sea coast.
The larger towns of Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven are both about 25 km away, but Bremen or Hamburg are also within easy reach.

| The stay of children up to 2 years is free of charge! During the Easter and summer holidays, the holiday home can only be booked on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. The booking is handled by the Dorum beach office. Visitor's tax: High season: until Adults 3,40 €/day Children (3 - 17 years) 1,80 €/day Low season: until Adults 2,00 €/day Children (3 - 17 years) 1,50 €/day ----------------------------------------------------- Additional costs: As this is a comfort house, all energy costs and a water flat rate are already included in the price. Spa card to be paid on arrival on site Dog / pet 7 € per day You have the possibility to rent all linen on site at the beach office Dorum: Complete package bed linen/towels 19 € per person (beds are already made on arrival!) Cancellation conditions of the Dorum beach office: Cancellation of the customer: The declaration of withdrawal must be made in writing. If the hirer withdraws from the contract or does not occupy the rental object, a reasonable compensation for the loss of rental income shall be paid in the event that the rental object could not be otherwise occupied or the rental income achieved is lower. The compensation for loss of rental income shall be: Up to 45 days before the start of the rental period, a sum of 10% of the rental price, but at least 39.00 euros, is to be paid. -44 - 30 days before the start of the rental period = 25% -29 - 08 days before the start of the rental period = 60% -07 - 0 days before the start of the rental period = 100% If the rental object can be sublet, the tenant will be charged 10% of the rental price in any case, but at least 39.00 Euro. |

Pure relaxation!
We spent a few nights over New Year's Eve in Mellumplate 32 and are thrilled! A small, cute cottage, which is lovingly, completely and sensibly furnished. Nothing was missing. The evenings in the cosy living room corner in front of the fireplace were very relaxing. The house is well suited for 4-5 people. The location at the entrance to the village was the only small minus point - it is about 1km from the sea. But even that can be managed :-) In the village there are some restaurants, the small indoor swimming pool (in summer with outdoor wave pool), the BUND-station, the lighthouse, ... walks along the dike or mudflat hikes, ... everything for relaxed holidays! A huge plus are the owners Katja and Carsten! Prompt and friendly communication, always with the aim of making it as easy and pleasant as possible for the guest! Thanks again! :-)

Gerne wieder
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt . Das Ferienhaus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und in einem tollen Zustand. Kinderfreundlich ist es noch dazu. Die Umgebung ist ein Traum und lädt ein zu langen Spaziergängen, zumal das Wattenmeer mit dem schönen Leuchtturm direkt vor der Tür ist.
Andere interessante Ausflugsziele sind auch in naher Umgebung ebenfalls erreichbar . Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderschöne und sehr Geschmackvoll Eingerichtetes Ferienhaus
Dieses Ferienhaus ist nur zu empfehlen.Sehr Geschmackvoll eingerichtet.Man fühlt sich beim Eintreten ins Haus sofort zu Hause.Es fehlt an nichts.Nur einige hundert Meter bis zur Stadtmitte und zum Strand.Einfach nur schön.

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Ferienhaus
Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und Top ausgestattet.
Wir ( 2 Erw., 2 Ki., und ein Hund) haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch jetzt im Winter ein toller Familienurlaub mit gemeinsamen Spieleabenden am warm knisterndem Holzofen.
Unsere Empfehlung für gutes Speisen ist die Strandhalle am Wellenbad mit Blick aufs Meer, waren dort an zwei Tagen Fisch essen und Service und Geschmack einfach nur empfehlenswert.
Wir möchten uns für den freundlichen Kontakt mit der Familie Dietrich bedanken.

Traumhafter Aufenthalt in Dorum-Neufeld
Wir waren mit der Familie im schönen und liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus von Familie Dietrich. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.Man merkt,dass das Ferienhaus mit viel Liebe eingerichtet wurde. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause und wir waren traurig wieder fahren zu müssen.Mit Kindern kann man sehr viel unternehmen und es gibt zahlreiche Aktivitäten für Sportbegeisterte. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus
Wir waren im vier Genrationen Urlaub plus Hunde. Es waren wunderschöne, liebevoll eingerichtete und sehr gepflegte Häuser, die wir jederzeit sofort wieder buchen würden. Es haben sich alle die Woche sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt, es fehlte an NICHTS.

Beautiful holiday cottage by the sea
We, 2 adults and our one year old daughter spent a few wonderful days in Mellumplate 32. The house is ideal for families with children. There is a high chair and a travel cot, and the stairs are secured with a stair gate. The house is lovingly furnished, which you can see in many small details. We felt very comfortable. The contact with family Dietrich was super nice and all our questions were answered immediately. The area is very beautiful and the beach is within walking distance. We would love to come back again! :-)

Short holiday
The holiday home is just as cosily furnished as in the pictures. We (2 adults, 2 children and a dog) felt very comfortable there. Everything we needed was there. The beach is close and you can take great walks there
I would not like to forget the friendly contact with the Dietrich family. It was one of the reasons we chose the house
