the time has finally come again. After private use within the family, our little stuga is once again available for you. An air fryer, pod coffee machine, filter coffee machine, microwave, oven, ceramic hob, and extractor hood make it easier for you to prepare meals in the kitchen. With new patio furniture, a sun lounger with sunshade, and many small details on the terrace, we look forward to welcoming you to our place soon. The large, cozy terrace surrounded by plants offers privacy and relaxation. From here you can watch the numerous squirrels and birds in the trees. Pure nature! The holiday apartment with underfloor heating is surrounded by fields, forests, and lakes, very quiet and at ground level in a lovingly furnished guest house. With a view of the large garden, a fully equipped open kitchen with dining table awaits you. The bedroom has a double bed with bedside tables, fly screen on the window, and a wardrobe.
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and offers many small details for comfort. Body lotion, shower gel, and shampoo are provided. In the living room there is a large HD smart TV and two comfortable sofas, on which 2 additional people can sleep. All rooms have doors. For a visit to the heart of Berlin, you are only 30 minutes away. A guest folder is available, and provides you with numerous pieces of information about the surroundings and about Berlin.

Forest garden culture community Schöneiche bei Berlin
Schöneiche offers various opportunities for excursions, recreation and play. Especially the Little Spreewald Park in the middle of the village is an idyll for nature lovers and children. The Heimathaus with the tourist information is worth a visit, as is the adjacent castle park.
In the local B1 sports and fitness centre you can bowl, play badminton or tennis and relax in the sauna. Forest walks and hikes start right outside the front door.
But culture also has its place in Schöneiche. Why not visit the old factory building of the cultural foundry, where numerous readings, theatre performances, art exhibitions and concerts are offered, or go to a concert in the castle church - perhaps combined with a visit to the cosy castle café.
In the village and the surrounding area there are numerous riding stables where you can rent a horse, stable your horse or let your children ride. Instead of driving, you can also explore the surrounding area by bike.
Once you have explored Schoeneiche and its forests, you will have the opportunity to visit the surrounding lakes and the exciting metropolis of Berlin.

Excursion destinations in the surrounding area
Schöneiche is located in a wooded and lake-rich area on the south-eastern outskirts of Berlin. For example, the Müggelsee lido with its shallow water, which is particularly suitable for children, is only 3 km away.
But the Flakensee lake, 6 km away, with its remarkable lock, is also ideal for swimming, pedal boats, rowing boats and steamboats. If you like swimming, fishing, surfing, sailing, diving, walking and hiking, this is the place to be.
You can also reach the Flakensee in an original way by taking the forest tram (15 minutes walk to the tram).
Or you can drive to Neu-Venedig, about 4 km away, or to the old village centre of Berlin-Rahnsdorf, from where you can take the BVG ferry across the Müggelspree and part of the large Müggelsee.
Berlin-Friedrichshagen (7 km away) with its promenade Bölschestraße, representing two centuries of architectural history, is also worth a visit.

A few beautiful days
Very nice, clean, well-maintained accommodation with access to public transport.
Everything is available in the accommodation, very lovingly furnished, including body cream.
The hosts are also very friendly. They provide information if you need it.
Bicycles can also be placed on the premises. Unfortunately, they are not under a roof.

Stay Berlin and surroundings
The house is located in a fantastic environment. Very forest/water-rich, close to public transport. We came by car. Parking is ultimately not possible on the driveway, but diagonally across on a small grassy area. The photos match, everything is as described. (No dishwasher and washing machine as also mentioned in the advertisement) Clear instructions about usage and living rules, except for waste separation. The neighboring daughter handled the check-in and check-out, and it went well. However, the house smelled a bit, as if a cat had peed somewhere at some point. Not all towels smelled equally fresh (not washed hot enough and left too long in the washing machine). Otherwise, just fine.
Regarding the landlord, I did not meet them even once. There was a request not to park on the driveway because it would be used. However, we did not receive any sign of life from the adjacent house.
Camera at the front door, obviously intended for safety, which is greatly appreciated. But it did emphasize an impersonal distance. We were apparently being watched (by whom??) since we had to close the door in case of rain < 10 sec and were messaged about it. I was not present, but my partner did not have the chance to do that on their own. (since they had already messaged us about it).
Due to previous reviews and indeed due to many rules, camera spywatch, and being messaged within 10 sec, we were a bit tense with the feeling that we would do something wrong. The check-out, scheduled for 11:00, we were asked to leave before 11:00 and were requested to open the door (the app has been removed), while we were doing our best to leave the house in good condition. I was half-dressed due to the heat of stress and sweating, and I changed outside. Perhaps it is the German punctuality since we come from the Netherlands and are not so used to it? I would have had less trouble with that camera peeping and correcting if I had at least known who was spying on me. After the last thank you message, 0 response. Rental over and nice cashing! ! !

Sehr geehrter Gast, leider konnten wir sie nicht persönlich empfangen, da wir selbst im Urlaub waren. Unser Objekt war ausschließlich in dieser Zeit während unserer Abwesenheit Kamera überwacht, was zu Ihrer und unserer Sicherheit gedacht war. Es wurden selbstverständlich keine Fotos gespeichert. Unser Anspruch an Sauberkeit ist sehr groß, jede Kleinigkeit wird frisch gereinigt, wenn es hier nicht ihrer Vorstellung entsprach können wir uns nur entschuldigen. Sie hatten uns schriftlich bestätigt, dass alles in Ordnung ist. Daher sind wir mehr als enttäuscht über ihre Bewertung. Unsere Tochter war ihr Ansprechpartner in unserer Abwesenheit. Hier hätten sie bitte alles direkt und sofort klären können und um Abhilfe bitten können. Wir haben beim Check out leider nicht viel Spielraum, da die Reinigung für den nächsten Gast erfolgt. Sorry, wenn das nicht für sie gepasst hat. Wir können uns nur entschuldigen.

The perfect start to the new year
We spent our first short vacation of the year in mid-January in a very well-maintained, quiet, and superbly equipped accommodation. It was an all-around relaxed and restorative time due to the perfect mix of rural surroundings for long walks and good connectivity for a day trip to Berlin. Super nice hosts and everything very straightforward. Definitely would like to come again :)

Very nice accommodation
We stayed in this accommodation for a long weekend at the beginning of January. We were warmly welcomed, and our accommodation was spotless and well-equipped. The hosts were accommodating and gave us helpful tips and information about the surrounding area. The accommodation is very quietly located while being well-connected. There is a garden that, although shared, is more than sufficiently large. We spent very nice days here and can only recommend this accommodation!
